Illusory Revelations #FE [Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem]

That feels too old to be Roy. Could be his father though.

If that's Marth, he definitely feels off. (though everything feels a bit off)

I don't think that's Chrom either. I'm thinking more of an assassin character.

Tiki is definitely Tiki.

Watch the red-haired protag just end up being Gangrel... or more likely Seth.

I can't tell any of the others. Also, going through it again I just now noticed the "THIS GAME IS ANTICIPATED TO BE MATURE" thing at the beginning. The SMT series is usually dark, isn't it?

SMT series is very dark.  It also shows a post-apocalyptic Tokyo near the end of the video to confirm said dark nature of the game.

I'm fully expecting Tokyo (and the rest of the world) to go down in flames not 10-20 hours of gameplay in. Won't be a SMT game otherwise.

The concept is definitely intriguing, and with the two games having really different mechanics, doing it like this was probably for the best. Either lean closer to FE or lean closer to SMT. And here, they do SMT with FE characters instead.

Also, I like how the Japanese title (Gen'ei Ibunroku) still follows usual SMT spinoff titles.

I also saw some speculation that she might actually be Lyndis, which makes more sense.

Makes more sense as Lyndis, though it isn't very obvious from the start.

What is that thing?

It's a giant green penis on a golden chariot with tentacles on its back and spikes for thrusting known as Mara.  He's practically a Shin Megami Tensei series staple and is the reason why most games in the series receive an 'M' Rating.  Just don't ask abut its gender bender qualities.

See, I'm not the only one who thinks so. His hair, sword, and attire all really makes me think of Chrom.

You can literally see the hilt of the Falchion.

I'm guessing his exclusion from Smash didn't do any good on his psyche.

That's what happens when you go up against Captain Falcon. The Cap beat him so hard he was knocked out of the roster.

Not sure who mentioned the similarity, but the flying peahat enemy that kinda looked like gangrel is totally named gangrel, so it's probably safe to assume that it's gangrel

Also this:

Big thing in the background being summoned is Aversa

That was me.

You know, given that I actually know Japanese, I'm not sure why it never occurred to me to read the katakana. It outright says Gangrel, derp.

Would you be able to relay any other words in Katakana presented throughout the video?

And, Gangrel confirmed as a boss.

In something not as obvious, the titular Fire Emblem is shown as the School Insignia on each character's uniforms.

From the trailer, I see:

-Marth

-Caeda

-Ephraim

-Tiki

-Roy

Also, those summons and steeds look awesome.

Not Roy, if you mean the red-hair main.

He looks more like older Eliwood. In addition, Eliwood is associatied with Paladins, while Roy is associated with Heroes, like Ike.

Considering we see a riding theme/knight theme for red haired main, def looks like Eliwood.

EDIT:

is that gangrel as a demon head

I've looked at it a good amount but I'm just going to let GameXplain warm up the analysis machine and wait for their video, it'd be more comprehensive and thorough than what I'd be able to tell you.

Check out IGN's replay theatre on the trailer. They get a SMT/FE expert and someone who can read katakana. That's how I knew that two of the bosses were named Aversa and Gangrel.

Honestly think he might actually just be Cain.

We already have two protagonist characters that appear to be Marth and Caeda (also Tiki's probably definitely on the good side) so I mean, wouldn't be much of a stretch to assume he's another character from the original FE.

So yes.
