themonkeyspower
After making my last archetype i began to like the synchro summoning mechanic more, so i decided to modify it a bit and that's what gave me the Arcane-Blast archetype. They are basically a dark synchro archetype, so they have high level monsters to use to create the lower leveled synchro monsters. For said high level monsters i gave them the heft summoning cost of discarding spells, with the advantage of the spells getting effects when ditched this way. Many of the monsters have level manipulation effects with a bunch having the spell discard effect. BtanH
Dark Synchros are supposed to subtract the level of the non-tuners from the level of the tuner. Rune shouldn't be able to target itself. Spark shouldn't exist.
themonkeyspower
Put a opt clause on spark to alleviate a bit of the power of the card, suggestions to weaken it would help. I made the edit to Rune and i didn't mean exactly like dark sychros just dark synchro esque. Also thanks for the quick review
BtanH
Spark should only let you substitute 1 from deck.

BtanH
How about Once per turn, if an “Arcane-Blast” monster would send a Spell(s) from your hand to the Graveyard: you can send a spell from your deck to the Graveyard instead of 1 of the cards send to grave for the cost. If you activate this effect, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except “Arcane-Blast” monsters.

themonkeyspower
Hey guys I was wondering if with the wording of the high level monsters would they be able to be summoned by their effects while d fissure or macro is out. just wondered cause i am trying to think of ideas of how to make a deck using them. CocoaGalaxy
Since it says "send to the Graveyard" then, while macro is out it can't be done. It can be done with DFissure.
