Yosuke-kun
You have no idea what Black Butler is, do you? I saw two episodes. Both featured heavy masochistic yaoi themes... I think it's safe to assume it's probably a yaoi.
JessicaMuddy
How about... Yugioh Arc-v? I know it's a crazy thought but y'know, we ARE on a Yugioh forum. Also, Nichijou. Not sure how old it is but it is my favorite anime. It's so goofy and funny. The worst part about it is that there is only 24 episode.

Considering the series is nowhere close to yaoi I'm wondering what on earth you could be talking about.

Nicο
Considering the series is nowhere close to yaoi I'm wondering what on earth you could be talking about. It's 1 of the many shounen that attract a massive female fan base through tons of bishounen and plenty of yaoi subtext. He's not right, but not necessarily that far from the truth. I've heard of this and could tell from the episode I sampled, but you can enjoy it either way if you don't get that feeling. It might not be hard core yaoi porn, but it's still not far from just your standard yaoi. Also, you don't have to have characters that are blatantly gay to make a show a yaoi.Honestly any show that has a primarily male cast acting in an effeminate manner and grows closer in a way that could be considered more then platonic, it can officially be called a yaoi by definition. Just because it's yaoi though doesn't mean you can't enjoy it. I just don't like shows like that.

Shradow
Now DMMD, that's yaoi. But Black Butler is even less yaoi than Free, and that barely has any subtext to begin with. Though I wouldn't recommend the Black Butler anime anyways, aside from the parts of season 1 that actually follow the manga (and even those have a fair amount of differences) and Book of Circus/Murder. It's easier to simply read the manga.

Fusion X. Denver
Since it hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet, I'll go with recommending Parasyte. Just finished last week and it was a solid adaption by Madhouse. I'll also second stuff like Haikyuu, From the New World and F/SN UBW.

Agro
Shin Sekai Yori (2012) It's hard to describe this show. It's very particular but you might want to try this if you want something you've never EVER seen before. >Shin Sekai Yori is, in my opinion, one of the best anime ever made held back only by its own budget. I can attest to these. Can attest to these From the New World Since it's been suggested 5 times, I'm going to focus my efforts on forcing you to watch Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World). Mainly because I feel you deserve to watch a particular episode.

Mainly because I feel you deserve to watch a particular episode. Six. I'm gonna through my support behind it too, because honestly it's probably like 3 on favorite anime's list. Also if you've ever played Touhou the anime adaptation (memories of phantasm) is pretty solid, and even if you haven't it's still pretty solid.
