.Rooster
May the victims rest in peace... This might make me look like an asshole, but then, they would only be able to rest once all us strangers let them have their own peace.

Mutant Monster RAEG-HAPYP
So, the co-pilot intentionally crashed the plane. http://www.cnn.com/2015/03/28/europe/france-germanwings-plane-crash-main/index.html

Cool Girl
You mean… he was so depressed he thought of committing suicide with a plane?
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Okay. If someone is depressed and wanting to kill themselves that's one thing. It's terrible and I feel terrible for them. However. When you intentionally crash a plane to kill yourself with OTHER PEOPLE on board, I can't help but lose sympathy, that's twisted. If that was the case, that is. When I try and load the page my computer freezes.
blinded
I find it weird that the pilot can simply lock the cabin doors from inside and there's absolutely no way to open it as an emergency. Condolescenes to the families, anyway.
Tentacruel
I find it weird that the pilot can simply lock the cabin doors from inside and there's absolutely no way to open it as an emergency. Condolescenes to the families, anyway. Ironically, it's a counter-terrorist measure.
G4hardcore
It really pulls my heartstrings to know there were children and babies on that plane. I sure hope it wasn't a suicide, there are more "noble" ways to do it than take others with you. I know what I'm about to say next is, from a statistic point of view, bound to happen, but... 24 hours before I saw that story on the news, I had a dream I was in a plane that literally spontaneously began plummeting from the sky. The whole time that plane was falling, dream or not, I thought I was going to die and I was just hoping that the plane would pull up at the last moment. It didn't, and to see that story on tv made me realize that that is probably similar to the thoughts those souls had during their descent. It's not the same, but the feelings were there. I hope they are in a better place, May the families find peace in their times of need.
Cin
You can overwrite the lock however that requires the co-pilot wanting you to get in.
