TBH, I haven't needed to really make the 3-mats unless absolutely necessary.

But granted, this does spam Rank 4s nicely when set-up.

 

(I would've liked to run C69, but didn't have space. Also would like to run 2 101s in the event one goes away, but not sure what to cut [should I need it])

 

 

Anyway, it's not perfect but so far, seems to be running OK on YGOPro.

I'd build this IRL once Superstars comes out with 18, but again budget and dealership ran out of Number 8s.

 

 

Keep in mind that I didn't build this for the new list; but I don't believe any of the cards on here were affected by it. Might need to check again.

Heraldry Charge can dead draw way too much to be run at 3.  I personally don't run any.  I would rather put in a Fiendish Chain or something.  It's just way too situational sometimes.  If you insist on keeping it then bump it to 2 or 1.

I think Eagle is too cloggy at 3, but that's just personal preference.  I generally never need it more than twice anyway.

I think Eale is even more cloggy than eagle at 3.  At least you can dump your extra eagles with 18.  You need to keep your eales in your hand though.  I play 2.

Huh....never thought of chain dog.  I usually just run a 2 Kagetokage engine with a King in the Extra deck to search the other one if I get a chance, but chain dog seem pretty decent.

I think Dust Knight is waaaaaaaaaaay too slow.  If you get out #18 turn 1 then it is completely irrelevant.

 

Everything else looks fairly standard, but with all the number you have why just go for the rank-up variant?  Add like 2 Quick-Chaos and spruce up the extra deck.  C101 is still a bitch to deal with in a lot of decks, and C69 is just absurd.  Speaking of your extra deck:

  • Pearl is irrelevant in this format.  And last format.  And like every format since it came out.
  • You will never make 2 69's.  Ever.  Just run 1.
  • Daigusto Emeral is a godsend in this deck.  It's saved me countless times by letting me recycle Leo.  You need at least 1.
  • Castel is absent from this lineup because...?
  • N8 is really good.....but there just aren't a ton of decks that Xyz spam anymore.  It's unfortunate, cuz during the formats of Xyz domination it was one of the scariest cards in the game.  But now that it has fallen from grace, I would just run the tech 1 copy.
  • 2 Dire wolf seems a bit much, but you ARE running chain dog, so I guess you need it.
  • I always have Abyss Dweller in my Extra Deck.  It's not as relevant anymore, but it still screws over BA for a bit.

If you do decide on running the rank-up variant, I suggest these numbers and Chaos Numbers:

  • 101 + C101
  • 80 + C80 (3 banishes in 1 turn AND boosts an Xyz you control by 2000....how is that even legal?)
  • 69 + C69

Those are ones I run.  Also I suggest the Star Drawing - Kage engine is you ever decide to take out the dust knights and the chain dogs.

Yeah, Castel is definitely needed here; why the hell I didn't add in there is beyond me.

Probably from reading the Wikia too much; only used it as a minor guide for design things (as in which HBs are worth running). Someone needs to update the guide over there.

 

I can lower Charge to 2 or something, and swap it out for a Fiendish/something.

 

Never really needed to use Dust Knight, so might get rid of those (he's only good for dumping Leo most of the time).

I might throw in MST or something, since backrow removal is still nice; considering that I don't have much of that. Or just add Quick Chaos and make C69 like I planned (or C101 since I have that here)

 

Should probably try the Kagetokage thing in there, since I am shafting out the Dust Knights. I'll replace them with 2 Kages; though I don't have any ED space left for King.

I did shaft Delteros to the side for a while (but Ouroboros can be switched if it doesn't prove useful).

 

8 and 69 have been cut to 1 copy each; added C69 (and yeah, that thing is scary as hell on a 4K body; even with Limited on some random R4 of my choice in other places)

 

Indeed, Abyss Dweller screws the hell off BAs for a while (and probably would've made my life easier fighting them the other day [with Nekroz, but off-topic]). I added a copy, along with Emeral.

Considering I have Amphisbaena / Eagle in here; running Chidori is a feasible idea.

That much in mind, I already have a full Extra Deck as is (the updated list should show that); need to get rid of some stuff (or just shaft things to the Side).

 

As for Monk, I'll try those out. At least they can be NSed when needed (lack of other L4s at time); as opposed to Kage requiring that I SS it on the heels of a successful NS.

In terms of side deck stuff, probably will switch things in/out if needed; depending on matchup.

Not sure if that rule applies to the Extra Deck though (given I usually don't use a side deck, because of single duels).
