Βyakuya
This is the kind of thing that will eventually label you to having antisocial personality disorder. Though, I'm very glad for the girl who's defending herself and keeping herself strong, knowing that people have killed themselves the same way. I'm also pretty sure the police can handle this threat and find the culprit(s). But, even for this age to claim family murder or suicide, is simply beyond childish, with the bullies themselves being unable to look at themselves. .Rooster
They're probably morons who think they are cool and can actually do shit. Hopefully she won't listen to them, and she should try to stop them before the bullying actually brings her morale down and affects her education, family, friends and herself. Cin
How screwed up do you have to be to think that's even acceptable? I hope their parents when they discover who they are, are disgusted.

Northern Sage
The bigger problem isn't whether they would actually do it, the problem is the fact that they think this level of threat is acceptable and that it is obviously causing this girl a lot of anguish. Telling someone to just deal with their bullies is a part of the mentality that causes bullying to be such a big problem.
~ P O L A R I S ~
I'm surprised this's news. I've been to multiple schools where "kill yourself" was practically a greeting and I live in Canada, land of saccharine politeness and caribou. I'm queer as Ellen and Elton combined, but still. Cierfrost
§707-715 Terroristic threatening, defined. A person commits the offense of terroristic threatening if the person threatens, by word or conduct, to cause bodily injury to another person or serious damage or harm to property, including the pets or livestock, of another or to commit a felony: (1) With the intent to terrorize, or in reckless disregard of the risk of terrorizing, another person; or (2) With intent to cause, or in reckless disregard of the risk of causing evacuation of a building, place of assembly, or facility of public transportation. [L 1972, c 9, pt of §1; am L 1979, c 184, §1(1); gen ch 1993; am L 2012, c 214, §1] Citation: Hawaii Law - http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/hrscurrent/vol14_Ch0701-0853/HRS0707/HRS_0707-0715.htm [hr] It is indeed greater than just bullying. And good that the police have been contacted, such actions should not be tolerated. I am of the same mind that I am surprised that it made news. However for me it's more a case of this being clockwork to handle.

Cool Girl
I feel horrible for that girl! Stay strong, girl! Not only did they bully her, they threatened her! That is crossing the line! That is punishable by law! I'm pretty sure they're going to have to pay a hefty fine or get some jail time!
