.Rooster
Seriously, why did they do this? Just why?
Flash Flyer - Sakura
My guess is retaliation for airstrikes in the Middle East and other things related to Western influence. Based on local news though, the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack (and the article confirms that to an extent as well) That in mind, do remember that they have a foothold in North Africa as well (proven by that last video of theirs), so retaliation on their part is a plausible explanation. Other reasons might be present, but at this time, there doesn't appear to be any, The Arab Spring thing might have something to do with it, but again I have no idea. But indeed, it's just sickening that people would storm a museum + kill tourists who were trying to enjoy themselves. It's nice that the gunmen were killed, but the rest of them are still out there. --- I mentioned this a few times in previous threads regarding the Islamic State; these sorts of people give the others who follow Islam a bad reputation (and see the whole following as nothing more than terrorists waiting to commit violence). Dad
It was an act reportedly committed under ISIS. If I recall correctly, they do what they do in the name of their religious beliefs. It's sad and frightening, but most of all, almost unpredictable.
