LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I think I need an explanation on why this is amazing.
Trebuchet MS
It's removal that neither targets nor destroys, and is guaranteed to take out the strongest creature. At very restrictive mana costs, yes, but that only controls which decks you'd see running it.
Simping For Hina
It deals with Emrakul.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
It deals with Emrakul. Probably best explanation possible. I was certain there was better sacrifice cards but maybe I was mistaken.
Simping For Hina
You're forgetting that this is also a burn spell and it doesn't target. People have to get around it by simply countering it or not having powerful creatures. It is worse against tokens, and they are all over Modern right now, but it is still a great card against everything else.
bury the year
This card's design is one of the reasons why I love Khans more than I do Dragons. In Khans, all the multicolor cards seemed really organic, which is even more surprising considering it was the first time WotC had tackled anything resembling shards in a set since Apocalypse. DTK, however, felt too constrained by cycles. Instead of getting cool multicolor stuff like this, we just got too many shitty dragons. ):Also, insane value. One of those cards that makes me want to build Alesha sheerly to have it see play.
Trebuchet MS
Let's not forget - Mardu was designed to be an aggro clan. In KTK Standard it was instead played as control, with this as one of their star removal cards.
