KoolGoldfinch
Card A is decently balanced in the way of stats, and the typing of WIND/Rock is kind of funny. A note about the name, though, I dunno if it was supposed to sound like "Tornado Stone", but either way, its effect is a great way of getting revenge on your opponent after they destroy this decently-powered Monster of yours. And just in case its effect doesn't work, you can always send a different card away, but this feels like a fail-safe after they realized their original effect may not work. This second effect may not work either, in some cases, but a bigger question is why is the secondary effect less effective at revenge-ing your opponent than the primary effect? I get then you could probably shorten the effect if the same thing was going to happen either way, but then why didn't you think of a better effect? I would've gone with a Giant Trunade-like effect given the name seems like it's supposed to be "Tornado Stone". How about a card where you blow all cards on your opponent's field (Spell/Trap or Monster/Pendulum) back to the owner's hand based on the top card of your Deck? That would've been a cool effect and made a lot more sense with the name. ----- Card B is a really cool Insect card. I personally don't use Insects very often, but when people do, Insects usually have the smaller stats more akin to annoying and limiting your opponent rather than blowing them away, and this card definitely helps. It's a cool effect, allowing it to replace itself with a (potentially) stronger insect. It could come in handy when an opponent is about to smash down your defenses with a bigger Monster (which they will need, considering this thing's DEF at 1900. Not bad for an insect :P) and the fact that it can pass on its effect to another insect Monster your control while in the Graveyard is totally sweet! With this strategy, you can protect your Monsters long enough to maybe get "Great Moth" or another strong Insect Monster out. Its name totally makes sense with its effect as well. In conclusion: Card A is interesting, but its effect seems unfinished and could be better suited to its name which I would have felt better had it been left at Tornado Stone. Could you imagine a tornado coming out a stone you broke open? That would be awesome! And for its lackluster effect of destroying / sending only 1 card away, it should have better stats (at least 2500 DEF; come on, it's a STONE!) Card B lends itself very well to the kinds of Insects that are already being played. Its stats are nothing to laugh at (especially for an insect) and its effect, for one, is very useful and creative in the way it passes on its ability, even while in the Grave. It is also very well balanced as it cannot overwhelm the opponent by protecting everything and their mother so that the opponent doesn't feel cheated when destroying one of these. My vote goes to Card B: Protected Pupa

Alpakha
I love card A, it's fresh and creative, but just not all that useful. The card is slow, require a tribute and all, and the removal is unreliable. They can always get rid of it when their field is empty (raigeki, black hole, etc.), or just bounce it (Castel). I really like this card, but it's too unreliable for me to vote for it. On the other hand, Card B's effect is very straight forward and the effect is more reliable than Card A. My vote goes to Card B.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A basically has a failsafe built into its effect; either your opponent chooses the card that matches whatever you excavated OR you bounce 1 for them. Most cases, I can see the latter; and there's no restriction on WHAT it can bounce. Basically, your opponent either has to bounce it first or they lose a card no matter what they do (unless you make them kill themselves). That being said, removal is still common in this format, so might not activate as nicely as you'd want it. ---- Card B can SS a Level 4 or lower Insect-Type monster and provide another one with effect protection. Now, I don't really know how relevant they are nowadays with the massive power creep, but definitely gaining protection for a turn from Dark Hole and common revival is always nice. Plus, it serves as a decent wall for a while. So yeah, card B takes my vote (and essentially the match if Striker accepts this).
