"the X X Overlord" Let me check on that, because that might just be translation liberties. It could be. It IS similar to hell armageddon, as they are both "King" in Japanese and Overlord is the translation, but... "Cruel End Overlord" was done to retain the pun from Japanese; CEO/Shiio So while it does contain "King", it doesn't necessarily relate to D/D/D even as a nod, because the "Hao" in its name is, simply put, Supreme King. It literally tranlates to "OERD the Supreme King Black Dragon", so doesn't look like it's meant to relate to D/D from a top-down perspective at all. When this is destroyed in the Pendulum Zone, it reverts to a monster by the time this effect would triggers, and it says "this card" not "this monster". You just continually return him to the Pendulum Zone every single time. Then the Pendulum Effect can re-set the other scale. Holy s***. If this is face-up in the Pendulum Zone, you're doing it WRONG. I was actually browsing YGO wiki to find a similar effect to clarify this, but yea, you're right. Thanks for clearing up. I just hope they won't print the same effect for OCG/TCG. Does anything ever say you specifically cannot summon an Xyz monster using pendulums? I actually made a Ritual Pendulum card with Photoshop which lets you Ritual Summon the card from your Pendulum Zone. So basically its Pendulum effect is treated as Ritual Spell card.
