I wouldn't be surprised if this shows up in Modern Naya Burn at some point. I would. It combos with Shard Volley, which is only a two of. Not really a purpose. Burn loves to make the opponent play mind games, and it doesn't help Goblin Guide or Eidolon survive a lightning bolt either. It is only Mono Red that uses 5+ Sullcrack effects. This also is worse because it doesn't stop the prevention of damage. EDIT: IT DOESN'T TARGET! This actually matters. It might see play. Burn doesn't have a lot of ways to deal with Leyline and Shit, but this makes the matchups easier with Eidolon and this card. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
