Standard Card Template V.2 (fun)

Hopefully, I am in the right thread here. If not please move it.

Anyway, I used the template of this card maker in order to remodel it a bit for an idea I had. Basically having bigger image space for the monster. The only problem was the spot where the level stars go. But then I remembered when I was a kid and had to count the stars to figure out the level.

I used to think how easy it would have been if there was a number there instead. So I came up with this:

Instead of stars, how about use the empty space next to the ATK/DEF for the level? Then it only needs a "7" or a "6" and it's ready.

That's actually a good idea too. To put a star and on top of it the number. Just like the attributes have the text on top of them. As for the attribute, if it were to go elsewhere, I would put it at the sub-type part. Basically:

"[Attribute / Monster-Type / Card-Type]"

Example:"[Earth/Dinosaur/Effect]"

Ok, I was thinking about putting everything in the same row to avoid having unused space. This only works for normal monsters the way I did but I believe it is a good first try. It is a crude editing though. Pardon the "not so good" editing quality. I'm just playing here, I'm no expert.

I got rid of all the empty space by enlarging the name box and text box. The rest is as you see.

......kind of feels quite empty now...

Ok, I was playing around again and made two complete samples (one Normal and one Effect) to see how it would look.

I used the traditional structure. Changes?

1. Enlarged art box

2. Merged Sub-type line with ATK/DEF line.

3. Added level on the same line. But instead of adding many stars I added one and next to it x(level number). Example: x7 (in this case).

4. Changed the "ATK" and "DEF" with "Crossing Swords image" and "Shield" respectively.

The result:

Sample 1/Normal Monster/Dark Magician

Sample 2/Effect Monster/Dark Magician (Effect taken by "Dark Eradicator Warlock")

So? What do you guys think?
