Forest Fire
{2}{b}{b}{b} Delve, deathtouch Whenever another creature you control dies, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature; then you may deal damage to your opponent equal to the number of +1/+1 counters on this creature, but if you do: remove all +1/+1 counters from this creature.
Delve, deathtouch Whenever another creature you control dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Soul Consumer, then you may remove all +1/+1 counters from it. If you do, Soul Consumer deals damage to target opponent equal to the number of +1/+1 counters removed this way.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Delve does very little when there is only 2 generic mana on this creature. Kinda feels like it is tacked on for no reason.
bury the year
Delve does very little when there is only 2 generic mana on this creature. Kinda feels like it is tacked on for no reason.Agreed. Take the delve off: it doesn't do anything here. Now, to fix card grammar:DeathtouchWhenever another creature you control dies, put a +1/+1 counter on Soul Consumer, then you may remove all +1/+1 counters from it. If you do, Soul Consumer deals damage to target opponent equal to the number of +1/+1 counters removed this way.
Forest Fire
Delve (can) turn this from a fifth turn summon to a third turn summon. which was the point. on the fifth turn there's most likely going to be (at least) one or two things on the field that could kill this with ease. Also it's kinda flavor. He eats souls. Why should he care if they're dead souls or live ones? Edit on the grammar though.
