Sandcrafter Mage is potentially decent but its still pretty meh...
I was hoping for something more decent for Abzan support T.T But they are just commons so here's hoping...

WTF @ Stratus Dancer.

I disagree. I'm going to assume the format is still going to have a pretty big importance on 2/2 creatures so being able to make a 3/3 on turn 3 (and potentially a 2/2 and a 3/3 that can attack) seems pretty strong. It looks like a strong card in limited.

Anyway
-Elder Dragon has returned as a creature type. Thats pretty sweet. Silumgar seems SWEET, though his smaller form might actually be better than his big one strangely enough. At least for standard.
-I wonder how Sidisi died. Though she does seem really strong, especially in commander.
-Rebound returning is really sweet. Also plays VERY well with Prowess.
-Formidable seems really easy to turn on imo.
-I don't like the name Megamorph. I get why they needed to keep "morph" in the name, but megamorph seems............bad.
-Dancer has a chance of making it into constructed. It could go either way though. Reminds me of Voidmage Prodigy.

Ah, the return of Rebound. Glorious indeed. Formidable's cool, but I totally disagree with what Flame Dragon said. By far much harder to turn on than Ferocious. Which explains why the effects given by it are larger in scale.

Oh, and Sidisi will definitely see play. 4/6 Deathtouch? It kills Rhinos all day, you can play it as a 5-mana Demonic Tutor or a combination of both.

Oh, and Silumgar is super cool. Wouldn't be surprised if it sees some amount of play.

Edit: Oh, and Narset is obviously a planeswalker. They've left waaaayyy too many hints for her not to be. "Dreams of other worlds", I mean, please.

I certainly could be wrong. My bias in limited often results me only having a couple really big creatures to turn on Ferocious and a bunch of random idiots clogging the ground.

I wonder what her role is going to be. Seems she isn't all that happy with Dragon world and Sarkhan is going to be pretty sad when he finds out. Though I think it IS possible that her spark ignited during her fight with Zurgo and since she was off the plane when Sarkhan went back she wasn't affect by the rewrite and remembers the world of Khans. So when she comes back and sees the change and starts talking about a world where Dragons don't rule she becomes a heretic. This does cause some timey wimey stuff, but Sarkhan is in a similar position so its possible. Could also be possible that being a planeswalker can make you immune to the effects of the rewrite.

Holy shit. Rebound. The depression of Rebound's interaction with Melek is hitting me all over again.

Holy shit. Rebound is in standard with prowess. Like Staggershock Kiln Fiend all over again. This might make me play standard again

Silumgar is freaking awesome. Now then, all I have to do is find a slot in Damia...

Sidisi is a really sweet edh searcher that either sacrifices herself, or sacrifices another creature and becomes a really sweet blocker. Either way, Profane Command just got better in control. Now I need to find another slot in Damia...

Dragon Tempest is phenomenal design. It acts kinda like the Siege cycle from FRF, but rather than explicitly having you make a modal choice, the choice is implied through the way the card is played. You can either play it turn two, making all your flyers really fast, or late-game, acting as removal or a last push for game. This kind of set-up is really cool, because it means that, similarly to Fires of Yavimaya, it is an early-game card that is not a dead draw later on, instead making that last push even more powerful. I REALLY like this card.

Profound Journey has a lot of potential in EDH decks such as Sharuum. It is slightly redundant with the general, but the grave is sure to be full of good targets.

Narset is a planeswalker, and literally nobody is surprised. I am more surprised by Skinny!Zurgo.

I'm not sold on it. Don't get me wrong, its really powerful, but if you have access to black I feel like your going to find most the reanimation spells there and not need this. I could look through my Sharuum and Karador decks to see if I want to cut anything from them for this, but I don't think I will. Luckily not every White commander deck has black so this has a decent since since white reanimation is pretty limited.

I don't see the hype for the new Sidisi. I think the other one is better. This is better for a toolbox deck, but Sidisi 1.0 is still better in whip.

Well, yeah. She pulls crazy value there. This one does something completely different. Considering it for the same purpose as the previous is silly.

The proponent is the same, you get value. You evaluate cards by what they do in a deck and what they accomplish in comparison to each other. Sidisi 1.0 gets cards into the graveyard to utilize Delve and get cards with Whip. But also leaves a body behind if answered, if you don't blank. It affects the board and game faster and more consistently. Sidisi 2.0 doesn't do this and at best it blocks everything to stabilize, but decks that would use it have better cards to stabilize and higher impact cards. At worse, you get a card from your deck that you can't use yet and you're still behind.

This card won't spark a new deck, so Ill use it on comparison to decks that might consider her.

You can easily compare them, and this one is miles worse than 1.0. I don't play EDH, but whenever I see a bad card for constructed play, I say: "Well at least it might be good in EDH." Not something I use to evaluate cards.

To be honest, this Sidisi is still pretty good in Whip. Part of the reason Tasigur is probably the best card out of Fate Reforged is that 4/5 stats happen to block Siege Rhinos really well. Zombie Sidisi happens to have silver bullet stats against Rhinos. It should appear as a tech card in sideboards, if not for that, then for its ability to turn Wayfinders into Demonic Tutors.

It is still imposing a high curve. Like I said: It wouldn't always stick and I think not leaving a body is what could make this card bad. It is better in grindier matchups, but it isn't main deck material until the format is less RW, which this card is going to be bad against since that deck has better matchups. It might be silver bullet that just wins certain matchups, but I still don't see hype.
