(Anime) Fang of Critias

Send this card and 1 Trap Card you control to the Graveyard to Special Summon a fused version of this card and that Trap Card.

We need this card irl since Timaeus is literally the only legendary dragon and taken a lot of the spotlight. Since Crush Card Virus is going to be unbanned in the TCG, I don't see why wouldn't they print Critias and it's fusion counterpart.

Crush Card's errata basically screams "DRAGONS OF LEGEND 2 WILL BE SOMETIME THAT WE WILL NOT ANNOUNCE FOR SUSPENSE!!!!". It's really goddamn obvious, but.

I am really not looking forward to having Doom Virus Dragon exist in any form, regardless of nerfs, let alone buffs.

All they have to do is and an effect saying after damage calculation, Doom Virus Dragon self-destructs if attacked by a monster with less than 1500 ATK. That's the real problem it had when it was 1:1 on Devpro, it had a 1900 / 2000 body and autokilled anything over 1500 ATK on the enemy side.

1900/2100 actually. And I imagine it will only destroy monsters on activation when it comes out, like Crush Card.

How do we know what this thing does?
Did it say in the anime or what?
Which anime series even is this?
Why is ccv even having thoughts of being unbanned with ba kicking around.

Original series, Season 4. Kaiba's Dragon

Just looked it up on PercyPro, where it still is a thing. edited original post

As to what the Fang would say in its text IRL, let's look at our Timaeus and PercyPro's version of Critias:

The Fang of Critias

Normal Spell

(This card's name is also always treated as "Legendary Dragon Critias".)

Target 1 Trap Card you control (if that target is face-down, reveal it), and reveal 1 Fusion Monster in your Extra Deck that lists both that target and "The Fang of Critias" as Fusion Materials; Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using this card and that target as Fusion Materials.

Pfffffffffft.
So hang on.
You're telling me that this thing turns any trap into a ccv on legs.
And I thought konami couldn't get any dumber. Turns out I was wrong.

A: that's a mock-up based on the existing text we have for Timaeus and the reconstructed anime version

B:

You're already using Crush Card if you Summon Doom Virus. Doom Virus requires Crush Card as a material.

The three Dragons, Timaeus, Hermos, and Critias, all did different things, but at the core the results were Fusion Monsters.

Timaeus fused with monsters to make bigger, scarier monsters.

Hermos fused with monsters to make Psuedo-Union Fusion Monsters. See: Armory Arm

Critias was the oddest. He fused with Trap cards to make terrifying super versions of them as Monsters.

Critias's fusions are Mirror Force Dragon, Doom Virus Dragon, and Tyrant Burst Dragon. Their effects and stats follow:

You forgot about Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon or he doesn't count.

I'm actually hoping Critias' materials should be as of follows:

1 "Mirror Force" card

1 "Virus" card

1 "Tyrant" card

That would be pretty awesome

MFD would have three options, two of which nobody uses.  Four counting itself

  1. Mirror Force
  2. Radiant Mirror Force (which requires your opponent have 3 monsters in Atk.)
  3. Dark Mirror Force (destroys all enemy Def monsters instead)
  4. Mirror Force Dragon

DVD would have six options, NINE if you count monsters too and f***ing TEN if it counts itself:

  1. Crush Card Virus
  2. Deck Devastation Virus
  3. Eradicator Epidemic Virus
  4. Planet Pollutant Virus
  5. Cell Explosion Virus
  6. Virus Cannon
  7. Tribe-Infecting Virus
  8. Tribe-Shocking Virus
  9. Electric Virus
  10. Doom Virus Dragon

TBD would have 7, 8 counting itself, 9, if the Tyrant Wings Trap came out too, and TEN if we got Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon

  1. Tyrant Burst Dragon
  2. Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon
  3. Tyrant Dragon
  4. The Tyrant Neptune
  5. Tyrant's Tantrum

  6. Tyrant's Temper

  7. Tyrant's Throes
  8. Tyrant's Tirade
  9. Tyrant's Tummyache
  10. Tyrant Wing

Well, it'll make more sense flavour wise if you would just limit it to Trap Cards. Also, its what makes the Timaeus Fusions actually decent, because you can Summon them without other materials if need be
