epicmemesbro
Throughout history, dictators have dominated the media in hopes of gaining maximum control. Decades later, poof, the internet is born. This untamable beast is the ultimate tool of freedom of speech, so governments have tried and will try to contain it. Google is banned in china btw >_>

Cin
Atleast the US hasn't gone to the extremes of some countries (Turkey, China to name 2), even if atleast 1 of those countries (Hungary) had to back down. Atleast we're still able to access the internet and most sites (bar those banned for piracy, and other reasons) Countries will always try to control media and by extension the internet, mainly to 'protect' governments. Just be happy the US doesn't have laws that strangle freedom of speech so much you can face prison time.
