Nekroz of Valkyrus

You can Ritual Summon this card with any "Nekroz" Ritual Spell Card. Must be Ritual Summoned without using any Level 8 monsters, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. You can only use each of these effects of "Nekroz of Valkyrus" once per turn.
● When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can banish 1 "Nekroz" card from your Graveyard and discard this card; negate the attack, then end the Battle Phase.
● During your Main Phase: You can Tribute up to 2 monsters from your hand and/or your side of the field, and if you do, draw the same number of cards you Tributed.

This is such a hilarious tech in Zefra. Pendulum Summoning and then using Zefra-Saber or Nekroz Cycle/Mirror to get this and tribute said Pendulum Summoned monsters to get a joyous +2. Works great off of Shaddoll Zefra in the hand too for Zefra-Saber. Most likely makes a better contribution to Zefra than Nekroz, but running 1-2 is always pretty useful for draws, even if search consistency is more ideal.

Other thoughts?

yea its pretty good in zefras, but i didnt test nekroz so cant say much about them.

Since i dont run any ritual spell, only Saber to summon this guy, most of the times i get to summon this instead of Brio, bcuz its Level is much more easy to reach with the tellars. Brio is only summonable if using qiuniu or the level 3's which i run only 2..

Also its second eff is great, and it makes me want to tech a unicore. A hand trap boss that is never a dead draw, i luv it

Saber + Wendi or Naga + Qiuniu

Nekroz Cycle is still viable. In case Valkyrus was dumped or was popped. You at least get an extra option if Saber is not wise to use at that moment.

I have literally no idea what a Zefra is but it goes without saying that this thing is amazing in Nekroz. The ability to keep yourself alive for a turn is amazing in a deck playing no backrow, and it's not too awful when summoned either.

It actually requires way too many resources in Zefra.

The Nekrozefras are mediocre ,though you can tech Exa, and this takes a 5-6~ card combo to summon it effectively... which means your entire hand and no ability to really sack it. Or throwing a bunch of pendulums from hand into the grave which, bar Roots!Core/Exa, you don't want to do, really. And Exa's level isn't freat for this.

This guy is great in Nekroz: mini-draw engine, can Tribute himself to keep an enemy Trishula from going off, Swift Scarecrow, beefy stats.

I don't know enough about Zefras to say how he'd play out in them.

Valkyrus in Zefra honestly requires a big amount to summon during the early game, but pays off late-game.

Being able to tribute fodder on the field to the Extra and get +2 is such a win, but cause of the amount of Zefra needed to be dumped and searched, you would have to resort to tributing stuff in your hand, and the Graveyard is a place where Zefra does no like to be.

Still, Valkyrus is one of the best options to use as a Ritual option for Oracle.
