Traps: 1 1 Jar of Avarice Recycle pendulums in grave, as well as Oracles/Radiances, etc. Extra Deck: 15 1 El Shaddoll Anomalilith 1 El Shaddoll Construct 1 Moonlight Rose Dragon 1 Chaofeng, Legend of the Yang Zing 1 Yazi, Evil of the Yang Zing 1 Abyss Dweller 1 Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer 1 Cyber Dragon Infinity Fairly easy to make thanks to Ptolemaios. 1 Cyber Dragon Nova Put on Ptolemaios 1 Lavalval Chain 1 Number 104: Ragnazero 1 Number 82: Heartlandraco Added after I realized Construct is my only real out to Leo. Almost always untouchable. 1 Planetellarknight Ptolemaios Generally goes into Nova for Infinity, or Diamond if need be 1 Stellarknight Constellar Diamond 1 Stellarknight Delteros Usually gets attached to Ptolemaios, but isnt too tough to make if I need to. [/spoiler] Biggest issue is not enough room in the Extra for everything I want :/ I am a big fan of the build compared to more Shaddoll-oriented builds. Nekroz just work so well with Zefra. Too bad Sophia still isnt very great in here. And holy crap is Zefradiance such a killer to so many decks. Spirit beasts cry to it for sure. I had Clausolas in at first but I wasnt really getting good use out of it. Brio can search for Sword Master which is fine enough for Summoning Valk while putting monsters in the Extra. I had Sophia in originally as well, but getting the correct mats out (Either Exa-Wendi-Fuxi, Tellar-Exa-Naga, or Wendi-Qiuniu-Naga) ended up being a silly chore when those same set ups can usually lead me into plays that dont make me lose my scales/Radiance/Oracle. Not to mention I cant Summon the same turn I Summon her, so getting the materials out a turn prior and keeping them there is an annoyance. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Delibirb Posted February 18, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 So to recap: Zefradiance is unfair and can make some decks auto-lose if not have a steep uphill battle. Chaofeng, while only being able to lock earth's in this build, is still very potent, shutting down Fluffals which are popular right now, and other generic cards and decks. Valkyrus + Pendulums is silly, as is the field effect for Ritual Summoning. A very good way to get out of situations. Cydra infinity is a fairly common play that almost always ensures victory. Qiuniu is still the most important monster basically. Downer is very helpful for that. Extra Deck space is still really tight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Spinny Posted February 18, 2015 Report Share Posted February 18, 2015 I've been seeing quite a few zefra decks on dn recently, all of which lost to my fluffals because I just smacked down their field with sheep and tiger and then just outright killed them with wolf. I try to open with a Zefradiance as often as I can which slows down some of their plays and disarms Frightfur Sheep. Chaofeng is a pretty common play which shuts down their searches and many +1s. And I tend to play this deck conservatively as I know people will be gunning fir my scales, so after a Tiger attack, I can just regain advantage. As for how the Deck runs in general, it's quite powerful. I almost always open up with an ideal board and contingency in the hand. They play as a very control-oriented build, with Radiance keeping them in check, and Thuban and Beel popping problem or Set cards.
