Piano Shenanigans

A little experiment in metre and chord progression which will hopefully bloom into a full song soon enough. Strongly inspired by Pyramid Song, as you'll likely tell. A fiver if you can guess the time signature of the piano.

I really like it. Can't really offer any CnC. The time signature is difficult to work out. Its either 5/4 or 11/8 I think, though I'm new to odd time signatures, so I am probably wrong.

A bar of 6/4, followed by three bars of 5/4, and repeat. Alternatively could call that 21/4, or 6+5+5+5/4. Yeah, the Radiohead vibe's super apparent. I like that a lot.

Has a great trip-hop sort of feel about it. I get almost identical vibes from the first bit of this track. Same trip-hop vibe, and fuzzy synth jabs. It's slightly uncanny.

We have a winner. Exactly right, 21/4 basically. And you're right, that is strangely similar... interesting.
