The false Weavile wasn't getting an opening to steal any of the weapons that these replicas had, even the Medigun double that Ryder had pointed out earlier. A snarl leaving his throat, Gemini kicked up and away into the air, allowing himself to become surrounded with a familiar dark-blue light as he reverted back to his human form. He landed on his feet ready to jump back into the air, a gleam in his eyes to show that he had an idea.

"I'd suggest you all prepare to run," Gemini suddenly projected to the others fighting the replicas and boss using this form's Telepathy as he brought his hands in front of himself. Between his palms did a dark-purple, almost black ball of energy start to form while keeping his distance from the replicas, allowing it to grow larger and larger as he managed to duck and weave against the attacks of the few replicas that knew what he was doing, mostly the Summoners of Solace leading a growing number of Blasphemous Shadows against him. A few of the strikes did manage to make contract, drawing yellow blood from him, though he did not drop the orb of darkened energy.

Once the orb had grown a decent size, Gemini jumped straight up into the air, raising the orb of darkness above his head before it split into the same number of orbs that there were opponents.

"DARK VOID!"1

The attack itself didn't do damage, but the moment the orbs around him started flying towards the replicas and forcing them to fall to the floor, the increasing volume of snoring became an indicator of what was happening. The move was forcing most of them asleep. Not everyone would be affected, but it should be more than enough to allow the small group to get in control of the situation fast.

Upon landing back onto the ground, onto one hand and his feet, he stood back up just in time to see the sun begin to rise on the horizon.

"Aw, they're missing the sunrise, how sad," he said with a grin and a false tone of sympathy. "Behold, here comes the sun..."

DAY 5

The fight is still ongoing, the camp mates gathered and tries to finish the fight before the sunrise comes into full force. Right now, it's 4:35 am. They won't be able to see the time, but we can predict... Let the fight continue.

Gemini failed to see the opening to steal the weapons, but James had an idea. He disappeared out of thin air, mostly because he is manipulating the wind to try and look like he disappeared. After that, the Nightmare Gunblader looked away and the next thing it knew, it's weapons were stolen. "How'd you like that, jabroni! I'm gonna use this on you now, please excuse me..." James taunted, putting his sword away and starts to use the Gunblades on the replica in question. In three, very powerful shots, the replica was blown away to pieces and ends up disappearing. "Okay, It's now the Alternate Isolated Emperor, Apocalyptic Ninja, Forbidden Blacksmith, Misunderstood Thief, Suffocated Gravekeeper, two Summoners of Solace and thirty-six Blasphemous Shadows.... The latter two were seen asleep... Right?"

"I'll just go ahead and leave those two replicas to Gemini."

"Hey, Lingering Darkness! Come at me!"

James lures the Lingering Darkness away and starts hacking and slashing. The Lingering Darkness lost complete focus and took serious amounts of damage from James, with Meguri also joining in with the attack.

"Don't mind if I do, James. I'm just trying to finish this sheet hole off once and for all!" Meguri screamed from above as she landed on the boss.

"Trying to take my spotlight now, huh? Alright. You take left, I'll go right!" James instructed. In the end, they both split up and attempt to do a two-pronged attack on the boss.

Not long afterwards, Tetsuya joins Gemini. Obviously with a few cuts on his face because he was knocked over by the Alternate Isolated Emperor. The replica appeared in front of him, the same one that threw him from a distance to the abandoned college. "Ahh, sheet..."

"Diabolos, Daedalus! Come forth!" Tetsuya called out, summoning his weapons from a distance and reaching his hands and alongside that, a crystal appears with it and was still dormant. "I guess I failed, huh...? Hey, Gemini... I'm gonna need a hand with Tes!" Tetsuya shouted at Gemini, placing the crystal in his pocket and tries to fend off the Alternate Isolated Emperor. Though, that was easily done.

Tetsuya slid at an angle and hijacked the weapon without the replica realising it. Now, the replica weakened. Tetsuya put his own weapons on a sheath and went ahead with the weapon he stole. "This must be the most powerful weapon..."

"Alright! Elysium!" Tetsuya called out, allowing his new weapon to transform into a blade with angel's wings and enveloping himself with white aura. "The power of light, eradicate this replica!" Tetsuya chanted, placing his left foot forward and his right foot back, then he jumps at the replica and slices him clean in half, disappearing. Afterwards, he saw the weapon he stole splitting in half. It's not what you think, no.

It was a completely different body altogether. "Two bodies? Fine. Nephilim!" he said, bringing out a blade that wields the power of darkness and now he harnesses both elements. Even James and Meguri saw from the distance and was shocked at how easily Tetsuya managed to steal one of the most legendary weapons. "Holy sheet... Tetsuya, that weapon is rare..."

"It belonged to my master. At least there's another opportunity... I just have to wait for it!" they say, before they focus once again on the Lingering Darkness slashing at him a few more times. The boss now becomes enraged and becomes invisible, heading straight for Gemini and Tetsuya. James and Meguri chase after it, but was stopped by the Apocalyptic Ninja, copying Gemini's weapons but bearing the Nobody logo.

"Ahh, crap. I wonder with that weapon... If this thing can shape shift... I thought this replica only copies Humanoid weapons... Hold on, is Gemini even a humanoid?" James questioned, but in the end the Apocalyptic Ninja changed its mind and instead copies Talen Avalon's weapon which also bears the Nobody logo. The replica proceeds by placing its hands on the ground, then all of the sudden, a net was used to trap the siblings.

"Ugh... Sneaky little jabroni!"

The Apocalyptic Ninja now takes the net and throws it at the Lingering Darkness, prepared for it to slice the siblings clean in half... Or, would it?

Exodia felt that he took a purely supportive role at this point. He focused down each of them with the medi-beam, selecting the rapid fire mode. It was shorter bursts and less accurate, yet he had practiced enough with the aim that he could easily gain good accuracy through pure skill with the weapon alone. He was simply thankful that there were no Spies to backstab him. However, there were much, much worse beasts and beings currently at the wake of his battle.

Watching Gemini in the sky, he focused very few of the bursts at him. He would be an ambush attacker; somebody who could get good hits down & then steal whatever he could and get out. A hit and run attacker. With that dragon gone, he's a good person on the team to have. Varies it up well.

He was using this initial battle to gauge up the various skills of each attacker. Gemini's ambush tactic, James and Meguri with their planned attacks, Tetsuya's craftsmanship with his weapons, blades of pure beauty (from what he saw.), all were good members of the team.

Now was not the time to deal with such problems, however.

Now was the time to fight, and he kept his focus. He unsheathes his Naginata finally, holding it on the left and his beam on the right. Being a leftie had its perks; he could combat the far more common right handed battlers more efficiently. However, he had to have his stuff custom made.

He pushes further into the battlefield, knowing that it was risky. He focused heals on the three on the ground. They were holding their own very well, and they could use decent boosts whilst they continued.

"Doing great, guys! You're keeping them down well! I'll keep the healing coming; you just keep doing what you are doing!" Always watching all sides, and his back, he is now becoming very cautious of flanks and ambushes as he nears the fray even more. Encouragement helps all, so he gives it.

Seeing the net in the corner of his eye, he yells a little bit. "JAMES, MEGURI, CAREFUL! THERE COULD BE SOMETHING COMING YOUR WAY!" He shakes his head back and keeps firing blasts between the fighters, himself being mostly the healer.

Gemini had not been paying much attention to the others around him, instead content to let the others screw themselves up in any way they wished to. Such would free his forced imprisonment here in this accursed world and hasten his return home, after all. However, there were words from one that he did catch, to his chagrin.

"If this thing can shape shift..."

"I thought this replica only copies Humanoid weapons..."

"Hold on, is Gemini even a humanoid?"

Those three statements and questions, though they were all made back to back, echoed separately in the shapeshifter's head several times each in the course of less than a second total after his ears caught sound of them. He knew the answer to the one question of them, but he did not like dealing with its answer. The characteristic sideways grin he always wore fell from his face into a frown coupled with narrowed eyes, a piercing gaze now focused on the reason for the questions after he slowly turned towards it.

However, upon laying eyes upon the Ninja did he see the siblings within the net before it flung them to the Darkness. Yes, he enjoyed the presence of it, felt stronger from it as indirectly fed from it even, but...

Unfortunately, he could feel the Strings forcing him to act, the feeling that made him do something he otherwise wouldn't created by the damned bands of light around his wrists and neck. If he didn't follow through, he could easily suffer the consequences of disobedience, which unfortunately didn't include death.

"You just love torturing me up there, do you, Michele," he growled heavily under his breath before bolting forwards towards the captured duo, summoning forth a simple sphere of dark-blue energy before allowing it to suddenly lengthen, turning into a surprisingly-strong length of crystalline rope as it flew that wrapped on end of itself around them before he pulled hard on the other end to bring it off-course of the slice. Their landing certainly wasn't a soft one, but then again, he didn't care how they landed. If one of them had broken their neck, oh well, he did his part. The only reason he did bother saving them was because he could feel her pulling on his Strings.

Gemini only barely managed it, but the part of the slice that did connect was only enough to cut the net they were in, allowing them to get out on their own accord once the rope vanished and recollected back into the dark ball of energy in his hand.

"Being able to turn the energy of the soul into various forms is a very-useful ability," Gemini simply stated with a strangely-stoic tone, his earlier bravado gone for the moment as he turned towards the Ninja...who actually seemed to have a glint of fear in its eyes. "Speaking of souls..." A toothy smile slowly appeared on his face to fully reveal his four fangs to his new foe, the new glint in his eyes revealing that things were going to go from bad to worse for the Ninja that started backing up. "I wonder if constructs such as yourself even have one."

Instead of finding out the answer to this question, however, the false human rushed forward with a blinding speed, grabbing the replica by both of its arms before it could think to run. A blackish-red energy began to surround the false human...which was followed by the actual cries of pain from the replica as puddles of melted flesh, blood and bone began to fall wherever the strange aura managed to touch as it engulfed the monochrome being...

(...whoo...he's even scarier when he's p!ssed than when he's not.)

Then, after being freed by Gemini... James and Meguri began focusing on the replicas at hand. James went for the Apocalyptic Ninja first, whose weapons melted. Though, he didn't need to do anything as the replica already fell by the hands of Gemini. It did leave behind a weapon that it had previously copied before it melted away. That of course was the legendary weapon James was looking for, a blade with three vessels. James proceeds to take it and leaves it at a sheath. Then, he could feel the presence of the Suffocated Gravekeeper, Misunderstood Thief and the Forbidden Blacksmith, went ahead and stole the weapon from the Misunderstood Thief. The other two weapons were of course stolen by Meguri, seeing as she was quicker than James.

"Party time's over, bastards!" Tetsuya interrupted, bringing both of the weapons he stole together to create the blade of light and darkness, enveloping himself with phoenix's flames as well as wings of one. He then flew a few feet above the replicas and did a drill dive at the sides of their abdomen, breaking apart all three. All that's left now are the two Summoners of Solace and the thirty-six Blasphemous Shadows that Gemini used Dark Void on. Although the void sucked them in underground, the college still had the tendency to free the same amount of the same replicas respectively as though nothing had ever happened.

"Again? I've gotta put a barrier around the area that's broken! James, Meguri, Gemini! Deal with the boss! Exodia, come with me... Let's fix that JABRONI!"

"Let's go for the same two-pronged plan. Three-pronged if Gemini's attacking from above. Time this carefully, the Lingering Darkness is invisible..." James drove himself to say that but...

By the time that happened, the Lingering Darkness revealed himself from behind, drew out it's Mirage Lightsabers and was yet again inches from slicing James clean in half. "Not on my watch, you son of a jabroni! Meg, Gemini... Go!" James instead goes to Tetsuya whilst the other two prepare for their attacks.

"James. Good, you're on time. Fix those with Exodia... I'll show that motherfucking bastard what I got!"

Tetsuya switches place with James, still bearing the phoenix's wings. He flies in mid-air and sets fire near the Lingering Darkness, disallowing his escape. The ethereal flames doesn't burn Tetsuya's allies, but instead does damage to the Lingering Darkness. "Meguri, Go!" Tetsuya said as he and Meguri attacked the Lingering Darkness in all directions, dealing very serious damage.

They keep doing so until the Lingering Darkness was almost no more. Leaving itself with just a little bit of health for Gemini to do the finisher.

"Time's up now!"

"Let's end this!"

"Such lame phrases, you two... Burn, my phoenix! Burn that JABRONI to Hell!" Tetsuya had clearly won in the battle of words, but there wasn't any time.

We needed to finish this battle once and for all. Hey, you were about to ask what I thought about it, huh? Well, all I can say now is things are about to get lonelier and a hell of a lot harder. I'll prove it to you.

"Gemini, finish that son of a jabroni off! The remaining replicas are bound to leg it if you do!"

Exodia understands the battle is about done, so he leaves the battlefield, going in sight of everyone. He wanted to see his own stomping grounds one final time.

Knowing the College interior, he became awash with nostalgia, although it had only been a few days since he had last been here. To something that he may never see again, it is a glorious thing. Being in the lobby, he felt the passing of other students and faculty that were no longer there. It made him choke back a tear or two, understanding that it may never be like that again.

Walking through the rooms brought him back a sense of nostalgia. Each one was unique from what little he saw, left with the marks of the others who once made their temporary homes there.

He walked past the classrooms, remembering all of the times he was in class, actually nostalgic of something he saw as quite boring.

Finally, he got to the faculty offices. He knew it was a forbidden place to go in the past, but with little holding him back now, he decided to take the time to enter a forbidden area.

With the exception of something on the table... he was not impressed. It was quite bland.

That something on the table, though... he recognized. A journal entry. He quickly snatched it up without looking.

Reluctantly, with a heavy heart, he started to get out of the college. He knew it was time to leave.

He exited the College, crying lightly as he leaves his once beloved area.

Whatever amount of patience he had with this group was starting to fade in an increasing amount as two of the fools kept insisting on ordering him around.

Arceus, damn them, he was not their weapon to control as they wished!

He stole a quick glance towards the Shadows and Summoners covering the ground that had tried to swarm him earlier, with only the Summoners flinching every so often as if enduring a form of nightmare. With what his awareness allowed him to know of the original NetMonster race, they had no equal to sleep. With this, he was fairly certain that the Shadows would not awaken.

...well, on their own power, anywa---what?

Several of the Shadows began to have their tails and wings twitch, slowly at first, but the rate of motion was quickly increasing. After both a second of thought and the Darkness managing a cheapshot at him that completely buried him into a wall face-first, Gemini mentally kicked himself.

How could he have forgotten about some of their moves and how they could force the opponent to fall asleep as well as the fact that once they were forced asleep, they won't fall asleep again for the rest of that particular fight?!

"Sh!t, sh!t, sh!t, sh!t, sh!t," he kept thinking in his head as he got back up after the accursed cheapshot, using his skill at unarmed combat to make sure that didn't happen a second time. He didn't get a chance to use Recover on himself, but then again he was more trying to keep himself alive than help the others fight the thing off.

"Gemini, finish that son of a b!tch off! The remaining replicas are bound to leg it if you do!"

That was it.

Raising a hand into the air as a much-smaller orb of dark-purple energy soon appeared near the open palm, the false human soon released it towards the Darkness, absorbing itself through the small of his back and causing the being to fall forwards with a resounding 'thump!' upon the ground. After a few seconds did it become obvious that the being was still alive, a faint snoring sound escaping the mouth.

"Good," Gemini simply stated before turning towards the others and pointing towards the awakening swarm. "I'd suggest taking out the Summoners first. Their lack of presence will disorient the others long enough for you to deal with them. If any of the Shadows revert to any form of crystal shape, like Ms. Black did, bring them to me." At this point did he turn his gaze back towards the Lingering Darkness. "If you truely intend on bringing the NetMonster back, though I feel it would be more a kindness to finally put her out of her sad existence, there's something you should probably know about her that would require a demonstration. Until then, I would like a moment alone with this being before I end its miserable existence."

If the others stayed or not as he approached the sleeping Darkness, he no longer cared. Once by its side, he knelt down and turned it over so that it faced the sky and not the ground in its forced slumber. "I guess we're both forced into a tale we didn't want to be in, hm," stated the demon in a whisper, an almost-untraceable amount of pity and an almost questioning tone in his voice as he did. "At least now, by erasing your anchor here, you can return to where you came from without any recollection of this. I wish I could say the same for myself." Lowering his head slightly, Gemini lifted his right hand into the sky as it began to glow with a dark-blue light, a light that began to reshape itself and harden into lengthened claws around his fingers.

"I can't promise you a painless death," he stated before slamming the claws into his chest around his heart, netting a painful scream that damned near shattered his eardrums. By some miracle did he still maintain his straight face despite the pain from the scream, a hint of pity in his eyes. "I can, however, promise you a quick one." Once past the skin and bones, the tips of his  fingers pulled themselves through the crystal around them to grab the beating heart and pulling it out through its chest. The body entered into a state of shock as the pain went beyond mortal limits before the body stopped completely moving...and the heart still attached to the body via the many veins and arteries it had stopped pumping.

Covered in red from the spray made by pulling the heart out the way he did, Gemini stood back up and walked towards the others, the usual grin still gone from his face.

Oh, he planned on having some words with this group...especially the two he wanted to break the necks of right now, Mr. Barker and Mr. Kousaka. Right now, the only reason they weren't dead already by his hands for their apparent insolence was the glowing bands of white around his wrists and neck that were, to an unaware watcher, starting to glow brighter and brighter for an unknown reason...

"Want them all gone, do you?" Tetsuya asked. Assuming that everyone gave the green light to go ahead, he morphed the stolen weapon into a flame bow and using an energy quiver, the whole vicinity where the Summoners and the Shadows were, set ablaze. The replicas simply escaped from the attack.  "This might not be good enough, but we don't have time to be dealing with everything. Let them back in the college." Tetsuya then went ahead, manipulated the Campus Square's fountain and transferred their water into the vicinity where it was burning. Therefore, the fire was put out, just about time for the helicopter to descend.

"Let's head back. I have a feeling our camp is in danger..." Tetsuya said, hailing everyone on board the helicopter, just as James finishes with the barrier, following the replicas' escape back inside, he also jumps in as well as Meguri.

"The camp... Oh, sheet..."

"You don't say..."

Well, Meguri and James may be saying this, but just you wait... We have another surprise in store for you...

Back in camp...

The camp was... Nothing like anyone saw before. Everything was set in ethereal flames, especially the waters and above... The Demon Hybrid was hovering above the area. "Whoa, hell no!" Tetsuya screamed in panic. Before he realised it, the Demon Hybrid dives down and pushes Tetsuya into one of the rocks and then into the camp's supply box, tipping it over. "Hey! Look out, the things are falling off! You'll pay for that, JABRONI!" Meguri immediately retaliated back at the demon. It showed no signs of backing down, it started breathing ethereal flames at the helicopter, even to the point where it started to blow up.

Aww, yikes. Looks like we need to deploy another helicopter... Well, that can be done.

Then the fight starts, but not before James finds a glimmering light flashing away at the water, he goes ahead and grabs it. A few minutes later, he finds Jun Kotomi's journal. "Oh.... I know that bastard! I've heard of him, my master had him installed on his computer... He was born well over the 2400's so I wouldn't have met him even if I wanted to... Let's see what it said..."

And so, James opens up the journal and read the contents...

"Initiating entry..."

"This is a digitised form of Jun Kotomi, the human form has yet to be materialised..."

"Hopefully, you will get to meet him, just like you have with Tesability Black who is from the same type of digitised setting... What's the matter? Are you lost in camp? Would you like some valid information?"

"I'm sorry. It doesn't look like you will get such information from me that easily. I'm not that foolish. But, I hope you get the picture. Geez... What am I gonna do with you?"

"By the time you read this, you will know that camp is far from what you expect. Want to know who the voice actually is? It's me. If you guessed from the very get go... Then you're probably the luckiest thing going. I may by typing this in a digital world at the moment but trust me, your camp is far from digital. I would bet a million Gold that it's alternate reality. Yeah, the Emperor already knows of this. Fret not, I'm not trying to hurt you..."

"What? You really thought I'd hurt someone else?"

"Son of a jabroni! I'm only here to do my job and be the voice of camp. It's not like I wanted to do it, but I kinda got dragged into it reluctantly..."

"Thanks for that, Ron. You made me the laughing stock of town! When I come back to the human world, I will get you for this, you bastard!"

"Bull-funking-sheet! Has he really been the voice that's been annoying us all this time!?" James thought.

"Yeah, you're correct. I am officially your voice of camp. Meguri Nightingale, Gemini Rivetter, James Barker and Tetsuya Kousaka... Oh, and let's not forget Alexander Ryder, too... As for Luke Reapur and Specter Atomizer... God knows where they went. Now, it's about time I introduced myself to you." The voice finally revealed itself.

"My name's Jun Kotomi. I'm a digital being here to look after all of you. Don't worry, you're not being treated as experiments. You're just here on a survival task and it's your job to gamble and fight your way out of here. In 365 days or beyond! That'll be all from me. If you need me, just give me a shout. I'm only a voice away..." Jun said, revealing himself as the voice of camp.

Now, the fight may begin. And trust me, it's far from a peaceful fight you were after...

Exodia had returned to seeing Gemini ripping the heart out of that Summoner. It was not a pretty sight by any accord, and the sharp scream piercing Exodia's ears messed with him a slight bit inside. It was a living being cut short in life, yet Exodia did not know the full truth on the situation.

Upon entering the helicopter, he quickly beamed all that would need it. Licking the wounds was pretty much all he felt he was getting done, but they should be able to get some decent rest at camp. It was something he had looked forward to. He knew a good few, including his Replica self, which it what he has taken to calling it, did escape, but they were dealt a major blow.

Exodia, in the wake of everything that is occurring, swiftly pockets the journal away in his Medipack. It was irrelevant to the situation, at least in comparative regards. Encapsulated in his thought, the continued beaming took on a mechanical motion. He was doing it nearly unconsciously, a light toll taken on himself.

He knew he had to trudge on, however. Remember. You are the healer of these people. You need to be protective of them, keep them well and alive. Hopefully, camp will be a welcome sight after... whatever that was.

Flames as far as the eye could see. That was not the welcome sight that Exodia was looking for. He sighed heavily and gazed, with a twinge of fear and a light sense of despair, as the creature was ravaging the area. Its wake of destruction wrought fury in many of his other allies, but he just saw it as another job to be done, more lives to protect, and another day to survive in this god-forsaken hell.

The random digitized voice finally making another appearance was, even though quite annoying for the situation at hand, a welcome sense of the past camp that he secretly cherished occurring. He soothed him to hear something from the past, however recent it was.

Whatever the outcome of this coming skirmish, he planned to keep everything going as best he could. Flicking on the Medigun again, he quickly bursts everyone a time or two, as much as he could easily pull off.

"Let's head back. I have a feeling our camp is in danger..."

Gemini already knew it was being ransacked as they spoke and loaded up, Gemini pushing the others forward into the helicopter. "Go on ahead, I'm going to follow behind." The sideways grin he had introduced himself with had still not yet returned to his face. Instead a darkened, pensive look filled his eyes, which could not be a good sign in the slightest for anyone...

Flying behind the helicopter in the form of a large Yvetal, the black and red avian caught sight of the ethereal flames with his red eyes. However, he was surprised that even the waters have caught ablaze, alerting him that this was no ordinary flame that he laid witness to.

Upon Tetsuya being pushed over the rock and supplies, he was urged to dive, the bands around his neck and talons glowing painfully until he brought his borrowed wings around himself to barrel right into the Hybrid, unsure if his Struggled strike would do harm to the being like it did him, but at least it wouldn't be able to completely avoid the damage of the impact due to it being a strike without an element.

However, it knew remaining in this form was unwise. Yvetal's presence magnified the effects of Dark-type moves in its presence and he knew not if those flames would be a product of an ability that could be considered as such. And so, he changed once more, returning momentarily to his defaulted human form before becoming slightly-smaller and reforming as a strange form of red armored knight, a Bisharp with the dots of its eyes being red instead of the normal black.

The Defiance of the form was evident in the new form's stance, his white armored fists brought in front of him before three grey-glowing claws emerged from the tips of both to allow a flurry of Metal Claw attacks to be unleashed at the other demon. On a couple of the strikes, he felt a surge of energy flow through him, recognizing it as the secondary effect of the attack, the chance of increasing his attack strength.

As he swung away, Gemini allowed himself a small piece of solace and an internal grin at the fact that he was not the only one dragged into this mess without a choice, even if the other was only a voice guiding the group he was forced to travel with...

~Turns before the Demon Hybrid absconds: 17~

Exodia quickly bursts a round of healing to the others in his group. Knowing that a high amount of morale and health would be required to keep the others alive, he makes sure that each person is more full-up. He feels that if he goes to heal them too much, their body may begin to resist it.

Should I cut it off? This seems like a strong foe that we could have a lot of trouble facing. However... I don't want to mess with the machine and make it overheat and overheal. I can just cut my losses now and heal in emergencies... Yeah, that's what I'll do.

"Okay guys, I am going to cut off some of the healing for a while. I don't want to over-exert the machine or your bodies with the amount of healing they can get. If we really struggle, I will turn it back on but for now, I am fighting, too."

He puts up the hose of the Savior of Souls and tucks it safely on his back. He lets out a breath, understanding he will need to hold a lot of caution. Unlike a lot of these guys, he does not have powers nor a heavy amount of underlying strength.

What he does have, though, is a good bit of finessé with a weapon and a good amount of dodging ability. He knew the SoS would be good to take a few hits and some dodge rolls. He himself would be able to, as well.

Pulling out the Heavenly Dancer, he takes his traditional grip and stance. He joins the front line with Tetsuya, Gemini, and James. It would be an interesting test of his abilities and a way to give him a good understanding of his abilities and what he could do.

He runs at the Demon Hybrid and takes a decent swing at him whilst he is distracted, and attempts to dance around his retaliations.

Let's see how this goes... It could go very well or very poorly...

Tetsuya pulls himself up and picks up the supplies for camp and places them back in the box. Just as he does that, the Demon Hybrid approaches Gemini and spews out flames, he changes colour so that he becomes pink. Mind you, his default colour is translucent meaning there's little to no colour and you can almost see through him. His wings grow slightly larger in the process and is now immune to the Light element. The boss then flies up in the air, well above everyone else and summons an array of meteors, raining down on the camp attempting to destroy the beds and hammocks. Well, they were going to be replaced anyway...

Tetsuya, James and Meguri all dodge the meteors, but only just... Then they turn to Exodia. "Yeah, put that back. Only use those as a last resort..." and when he gathers around the group, they prepare to fend off the demon. "Right, let's do this before it escapes!" Meguri instructed. "Alright, gimme a hand, then!" James said, following that statement.

Then the two give each other a hand, with Meguri at the bottom whilst James steps on her hand with his right foot, before lifting himself in the air, grabbing onto the demon's wings. "Ugh! Take that!" James taunted, slamming the demon down with his blade. Meguri also follows on with a few more hits but the high resistance from the demon will prove to be difficult when damaging it.

"That funker isn't taking a hit! Not a single scratch!" Tetsuya exclaimed, running to the ethereal flame-filled waters and dives down, hoping he can attack the demon from below. "Hey, Tetsuya, dude... Be careful down there!" James warned, but it was already a bit late. Tetsuya reappears again from underneath the demon and scrapes at him with a 360 degree rotation whilst his blades are at a sheath.

The demon already enrages, with its wings growing bigger yet again and switches colour again to dark blue, making him immune to Dark elements.

Sure, it will only get annoying... The demon now breathes ethereal flames all over camp at a 360 degree rotation, like what Tetsuya had been doing and keeps doing so until at least one member of camp has been hit, that being Meguri... Who saw her arm severely burnt.

"Ugh, these flames are powerful... Be cautious! This isn't any old demon!" buts falls unconscious before she could say another word.

"sheet, Meg!"

"Damn! Exodia, tend to her at once! Forget the demon, focus on the girl! These flames are not only powerful, but they are quite severe. Since Meguri is only about 15 years old... I think she is... These flames will burn her to the funking bone." Tetsuya said, giving out expert advice. Well, you should trust him since he was born in a camping environment anyway.

"Ugh..." Meguri uttered this out of consciousness. It didn't look like she would wake up again any time soon.

Then the demon reacted and starts spinning around again in hopes that it would target Tetsuya. The latter fought back and the two clashes blades with each other and also hitting one another in the process.

As soon as that was done, the demon pushes Tetsuya back onto the ground and summons more meteors, allowing them to rain down on camp, destroying more things around camp, the live animals died from the attack and the waterfalls were put out and blocked by the excessive damage caused by the Demon Hybrid.

"Son of a jabroni! I'll have you pay for that... Gemini, gimme a hand... If absolutely necessary... We'll give ourselves no choice but to bring Tesability back. I still have her crystal."

"Then, why don't I force awaken her, Tetsuya Kousaka? I'm sure that would be a better method and I know just the way to do it." Jun interrupts from the middle of nowhere, offering how he could awaken Tesability. If I awaken her, because I'm only a voice and I'm also your guide... I can change the settings and allow Tesability Black to partner up with you, becoming her master... It's going to be a tough decision... Please think about this. Gemini Rivetter, don't you dare try and stop me. Tesability Black and myself are both digital beings." he warns in advance. Force awakening of a NetMonster is pretty dangerous and should not be attempted by anyone other than digital human beings like Jun Kotomi.

"Ugh, that annoying, little JABRONI... Alright, it seems like you know what you're doing so... Where shall I put the crystal?" Tetsuya questioned the voice, positive it knows what needs to be done.

"Ah, it's easy... Place the crystal in the next room, there should be a secret compartment to put it in. I will commence the force awakening from there..."

But, should Tetsuya really be listening to the voice? I'll let you decide.

"Gemini Rivetter, don't you dare try and stop me."

If his current form had allowed for it, he would have laughed his ass off at the claim in delirium. This voice knows nothing about him, does it?

If he were to interfere, it would be due to his puppetmaster forcing him to do so. What did he care if such a force-activation would actually kill her instead, corrode her programming further to the point that she could no longer keep stable, hm?

With relative ease did he dance among the meteors that fell near him, ducking and dodging and weaving around them as if he was listening to music only he could hear.

"Ah, it's easy... Place the crystal in the next room, there should be a secret compartment to put it in. I will commence the force awakening from there..."

While still wearing the Bisharp form as he continued to slash away with multiple Metal Claw attacks at every opportunity, the white bands of light around his neck and wrists began to glow brighter, the ring around his neck suffocating him slightly as the urge to 'save' the NetMonster began to fill his mind.

"Bi..." Falling to his knees, metallic hands to either side of his head, the red and black knight he once was began to glow with the familiar dark-blue light before growing in size, returning back to his human form with his hands gripping his hair and his forehead practically on his own lap. "Get...out...let go..." He was not quiet in his demands, any close by could probably hear him.

The Hybrid, sensing the moment of weakness, gave a delighted shriek as it swooped down towards the demon on the ground, balled up into himself as he tried to keep a grip on his own mind and body. However, such a being was greeted with a most-painful surprise.

...which came in the form of most of its face being melted off by the sudden appearance of Gemini's blackish-red aura, which surrounded him suddenly like a corrosive shield against the elements and all that dare to strike him. His aura was strange. Despite the corrosive darkness that it appeared as, it wasn't something that did damage directly and had no true element. Instead, it acted as a fast-acting toxin, preferring to melt whatever came in contact with it.

Exodia, upon seeing Meguri take a massive hit and go sprawling towards the ground. In complete shock, he quickly sheaths his Heavenly Dancer. Shaking his head, he bolts towards the fire to take Meguri out of the line of fire. Putting the unconscious teenaged girl on his shoulders, he runs to a place of safety.

He pulls out the Savior of Souls and focuses it, full-blast, on Meguri's heavily scarred and burnt arm. He shook his head and cursed. Wiping a slight bit of sweat from his brow, he props Meguri up so blood can better circulate through her.

Dammit! One of us is already down for the count. This freaking Demon Hybrid is a bane to the existence of everyone here. Hopefully we don't have to deal with him for too long, or we may not make it out alive.

He takes out his Heavenly Dancer again, but, this time, he does not yet plan to jump into battle. He just holds himself in defense of his patient. He knew that to defend his patient was his greatest priority. He knew... it was his duty. This girl would leave alive.

And he would GUARANTEE it.

Continuing to attend to Meguri, he rips off a small portion of his sleeve. Lacking cleaning utensils, he dries off some of the non-cauterized blood. Cleaning the area, but still leaving some blood to coagulate and speed up the healing process, could help her natural abilities, augmented by the Savior of Souls, heal herself faster.

Now soaked in blood, he sets down this ripped portion of the sleeve. It was used, and was useful, and is now useless. Seeing signs of some healing beginning to occur, he turns back to the fight at hand.

Gotta make all of this healing count before it's worthless. Her life is too important. All of our lives, even mine, are as well. And the lives of anyone that we meet... That's why I think I am here now. To be my weapon's namesake: The Savior of Souls.

"I'll make this as painless as possible.... Don't you worry about it." Jun said to the duo, both worried about crystal.

Tetsuya goes ahead to the next room and places the crystal in the secret compartment the voice told him about and left it there. "Thank you, Tetsuya Kousaka... Now, I shall commence with the awakening... This will take a few hours. Go ahead and fend off that Demon Hybrid!" the voice said, as Tetsuya heads back to battle, sheathing his weapons and clashes blades with the demon. "Hell yeah... You're the one that's going down now, jabroni!" Tetsuya taunted, taking and dealing with a few hits by the Demon Hybrid and vice-versa.

Jun Kotomi now accesses the dormant data from within Tesability, hoping to communicate with her from within.

"Tesability Black... My name is Jun Kotomi and I am the voice of camp. Officially the voice of camp, as you might say. You might remember hearing from me since Day 1 but you never knew who I actually was..."

"Your camp mates, Tetsuya Kousaka and Gemini Rivetter are requesting for your help and so they turned to me. Now, I would like you to stay still and imagine your new master..."

An outline of Tetsuya's avatar was pulled out of Jun's database, then approaches the crystal. The avatar then holds the crystal for a full minute of absolute silence whilst the digital being watches from afar. All the memories stored in Tetsuya was downloaded from Jun and forced upon the avatar, gradually feeding them onto Tesability one piece of memory at a time.

"I will make this as painless as possible... Now, FORCE AWAKE!" Jun announced, but the crystal didn't glow, yet. The avatar now screeches in pain silently, whilst the crystal was still held onto his hand and kneels down to the point he would no longer tolerate the pain. Jun gradually force-feeds the memories of Tetsuya's avatar until every last one of them of Tesability has been stored. Then he removes the avatar from the database and the crystal glows.

Back in camp, Tetsuya now starts to feel pain onto his brain. "Ugh! Damn that Jun Kotomi, he said this would be painless... Oh, I know. It's painless for Tes and painful for me. I'm taking that pain right now!" then suddenly faints from the after-effects of the force awakening depicted from his avatar. The main reason being was his memories of Tes are being overloaded onto him. As James side-steps besides Tetsuya, he saw the now-unconscious being, grabbed him around the shoulders and took him to a safe place next to Meguri. "First, it's Meguri, now it's Tetsuya. I better study on this. This isn't normal for Tetsuya to be falling unconscious like that..." James thought.

Now he takes his place and clashes blades with the Demon Hybrid, who was close to splitting the entire camp in half.

It changes its colour to cyan and makes himself immune to the Light element and dives towards the ground behind James, splitting the entire camp in half. "No, wait! It's too early for that!" James said, looking below the ground, only to see part of the Abandoned Junkyard. "Oh, I get where you're going with this! Come and fight me, demon!" James said, diving down to the Junkyard with the demon and carries on fighting there. As James fights the Demon Hybrid, blocking the flames with his hand and dodging all of its attacks, he too eventually took the hit as the Demon Hybrid summons close-ranged meteors and scratches him with it still being active.

"Ugh! sheet! I'm retreating!"

Even that was too much for James... Until help from the outside world suddenly arrives, albeit only temporarily. The Keyblade Dragon from an unknown owner slams down at the Demon Hybrid weakening it slightly then the owner appears. "Huh, Princess?!" James shouts as he was retreating.

"Chaos Curaga!" the owner of the Keyblade Dragon chants as she heals James with the magic. "Yep, the Remorseless Key... Melissa Yim at your service. James, it seems like you're having a hard time with this demon. Dad already told me. Leave this to me and attend to your camp mates!" she instructs, dismantling her dragon into ten different Keyblades, grabbing two of them and with very little amount of effort, she slices at the demon.

When James leaves the Abandoned Junkyard and makes his way back to camp, he was faced with replicas within the Desolate Mountain Roads. "Argh! Crap!" he decides not to fight them and heads back to Mel, the owner of the Keyblade Dragon that saved his sorry ass.

"It's a dead end, Princess! Can I borrow your dragon?" he asked. Mel simply nodded and morphed her eight remaining Keyblades into a dragon. James jumps on the dragon's back and when he reached the camp site, he jumps off and makes his way back to his now-destroyed hammock. "We have help, Exodia... She's dealing with the demon. Only jump down if you're strong enough. She's my resident Princess able to wield ten different weapons at once. We shouldn't interfere..." James instructs, ripping out his right sleeve and wraps himself where the burn mark was when he took the hit.

New Campmate's Past

"I'm off to school now!" the schoolgirl said, making her way to school as she leaves her house and shuts the door behind her. She then summons her wings and flies her way to school. I suppose that's one way of cheating your way there... It's just how it is, hmm?

When the schoolgirl arrived at Shinodome Middle School, she approaches her shoe locker and as she switches her shoes, an unknown letter appeared, unbeknownst to her. "Huh? That never used to be here yesterday... Why did it show up now?" she questioned.

She opened the letter and took a quick read...

"To whom it may concern, to whoever reads this letter, I have a quest for you.

To think that we're alone in our world. Yeah, it's grim. Correct? I thought so. What if you only have 365 days to live? That's another question you really should be asking yourself.

Why did we have to come so far, only to think that we only have a year exactly to live. What would you do then? What could you do to overcome such hardships? If something like that is something you doubt after all this time then I don't know how I can help.

Here's the deal. I want to know if you can overcome a year's worth of supplies and live past the time limit. You have nothing to live for. Just yourself, and rationed food. Oh, and bring a weapon and a camping kit... It's going to be dangerous.

You will see characters that have been in YCM in the past, but they don't recognise you. If you see your family amongst them, don't be alarmed. They probably won't recognise you either. If you can fight against them with ease, I will commend you. But it's far from simple. Someone hacked into the computer system in my office and overpowered everyone by 6000%, replicas, families, friends, the lot. I don't even know how they got to these kind of statistics, but they're powered at such a high rate, so here we go.

You're in a barren world that has already been eaten up by the shadows, by darkness and the burdens that we bear, that has gone out of control. I'm only a lingering spirit that has gone through the hell you are about to go through. There are only rubble, used cars that have been blown up, wilted trees and the winds that make you step back and think 'what the hell am I doing in this world?' There is no technology in this world. Just you, and everyone else that are willing to go on this boring, long journey with you. It's like a graveyard, you don't even wanna think about it.

Let's ask ourselves once again then. Are we prepared to go to this desolate world? Or are we ready to witness you chicken out?"

"What the funk?"

She puts the letter back, makes her excuse for playing truant and heads out, as quickly as she could. The schoolgirl summons her wings again and all she saw are replicas, who were unknown to her at the time. "Hey! Get the hell out of my school! who are you!?" But, she had no time to fight. She expanded her wings and flew off.

The Present...

"Remember when I found you in the woods, Rin?" Gnorfiend guest, Kane Underwood said, implying the camp mate's name. "Yeah... Now it's my turn to find my master, isn't that right?" Rin said back.

Afterwards, Kane opens two portals. One for Gnorfiend and the other for the camping grounds. Rin makes her way to the portal in the camping ground, but not before Kane saying this:

"I'll be seeing you in Gnorfiend then, I guess. Don't get yourself lost in camp and always ask if you need help. Apparently the camp mates are friendly. Be a good girl now." Kane said, leaving for Gnorfiend once more.

Afterwards, Rin begins her journey for survival... Only to see an endless array of flames... Rin Walker will be the youngest camp mate to date after she introduces herself officially in Day 8, aged only 13.

Exodia, noticing another unconscious body, quickly rushes back into the battlefield. Tetsuya, being a bit heavier than Meguri, was a bit of a challenge to remove from the field. It was another patient to quickly attend to... thankfully, he would not need care. He would only need protection from the wild battles occurring ahead.

Carefully dragging this man without damaging his body, he gets him to some shelter and safety. Laying him by Meguri was the main choice, as it would easily keep them in a place where he could guard them and watch them, yet not get them too far from the battle if such a thing was necessary.

He had to keep James & Gemini healed as well.

Bodies left and right. Falling soldiers, falling men... Ah, I guess I will need to be their guardian. Such is the job of a doctor. It was key to keep them safe, sound, and healthy.

"Try not to lose yourselves as well, James! Gemini! We need to hold a reasonable defense against this demon!" A hefty amount of concern was on Exodia's voice. It would be a problem if they fell, as it would mean that only Exodia remained conscious.

As the new figure materialized, he breathed a sigh of relief. A new figure had entered the battlefield, allowing Exodia a bit less fear. There was fear at first, if this figure would be malicious. But when it clashed with the Demon Hybrid, he felt a bit of satisfaction; it was another fighter on his side.

Turning the Savior of Souls onto normal mode, he found he was just outside of his range. He rushes quickly inside of the battlefield range to blast James, but not Gemini as he was too far out of range, and this new figure, before returning to these bodies and tending to them so.

A light heal goes to Tetsuya, as he shivered and writhed in unconsciousness... simply to help ease a little bit of pain. However, he refocused the beam onto Meguri and turned it back on full blast.

Mel, the intruder of this battle kept hacking away at the demon then all of the sudden, she does so in very quick pace and hacks away quicker than Tesability Black could ever fly. Even the Demon Hybrid wasn't aware of her attacking. Mel then switched weapons constantly, firstly into Dual Gunblades shooting away at the demon at 300 miles per hour, then switched again to her late brother's Dual Gale Katanas, at the same rate of speed and then back to her Keyblades and stops fighting. Judging by the looks of the Demon Hybrid, a significant amount of damage was caused already. "This should weaken the bastard for a bit longer! Okay! He's all yours! I'll see you at the Torn Streets! It's time I made my appearance anyway! James, be careful!" Mel said, exiting the battle. "Alright, Princess! I'll take care of it!" James replied, seeing the amount of damage Mel actually dealt to the Demon Hybrid.

"Holy sheet, she's strong! My master taught her so much at a very young age... Sorry, Princess... I can't beat this."

After being unconscious for a short time, Tetsuya wakes up again and rejoins the fray. "What the funk was that? I suddenly felt my brain switch off... Jun Kotomi! This was your doing, right!?" Tetsuya said as he pulls himself up to unsheathe his weapons.

"Ha... You found me out. The procedure was successful, I managed to force the crystal to glow. In half an hour, Tesability Black will be your new partner. The pain for you has to be worth it, no?"

"Hmm... I guess you're not so sure, Tetsuya Kousaka... Let me remind you of this... Talen Avalon is still watching from Heaven's Gateway... Better not let her down, you son of a jabroni!" Jun reminds Tetsuya. Hold on, are the inactive people really salvaged and watching from the Heaven's Gateway? You better hope so.

"This is for the people, then! Come at me, demon!"

Tetsuya charges straight for the Demon Hybrid, who seemed to have weakened slightly and immediately, he manipulated the flame-filled waters and throws them directly at the demon, causing it to enrage even further, with wings glowing and expanding, becoming bigger every minute. The demon then grabs hold of Tetsuya and absorbs his weapons as means of last resort. Now, Tetsuya isn't able to control the waters but is still able to fight underwater. "What! Oh, god... This thing has gone berserk! James, what the funk happened?" he questioned, suddenly becoming unarmed.

"Don't ask me, Tetsuya! The Princess just came over and beat the sheet out of it! Badly!" James replied back, then the demon let out a loud shriek, potentially damaging everyone's hearing then out of control, it starts raging and breathing ethereal flames everywhere, lighting the whole camp in flames and also allowing the live animals around camp to go extinct. We're fortunate Meguri isn't conscious yet otherwise she will have enraged as well...

"There's our problem then, Barker! Kill it, now!"

Then James went ahead and fights the demon. Will he and the other camp mates survive, however? Also, it's time to bring back an old friend... The camp mates should be familiar with her...

Gemini flinched at the sudden wave of soothing that suddenly tried to flow over him, not allowing himself to relax while another tried to force his hands into doing things he did not wish to do. After a few moments, to his unease, he felt the bands around his neck and wrists relax their grips, as if whatever had control of them had let go of them, so he uneasily stood back up with a shake to his step.

"YOU! F*CKING! DUMBASSES!"

And Gemini rolled his eyes and sighed with closed eyes as a familiar voice echoed over the place. He should have seen this coming.

"Do you know what you have done to the NetMonster?!" the voice above practically roared towards all present, catching even the Demon Hybrid off-guard for a split second. "Sure, mechanically, she'll be the same, but this forced reversion bullshit is on the verge of destroying her mind, reverting her back to how she was mentally when she first woke up, nor will she retain the appearance I gifted her with if this continues! You're practically killling my Tesability Black with a procedure that did not need to happen and I personally have no way to undo the damage you have done already!"

To the demon's surprise, however, he was suddenly lifted a few inches off the ground, feeling like he was held up solely by the white band of light around his neck by the front. "And you," the voice started to roar towards the dark double. "You knew I wanted you to stop the process, you piece of sh!t-stained filth! Why didn't you let me stop it?!"

"You...know fu--f*cking well why, bi---!" A yelp left his throat as he felt the band completely constrict around his throat, cutting off his air supply for the moment, which netted a flinch from the shifter. Despite his attempts, he couldn't lift his hands to try and create a gap in the band so he could breathe, like they were pinned to his sides.

"You are my puppet. I created the replica body you use to move around. If I want you to do something, you will do it. Do you understand me?!" Unable to speak, Gemini could only slowly nod his head before air was allowed to return to his lungs after he was somehow thrown down to the ground onto his side after the false grip on his neck was released.

Though Gemini would not have seen it, the Hybrid gave the demon a brief look of pity before continuing on its rampage.

As soon as the voice pops up, everyone stops fighting. Seems to them that Talen Avalon was speaking from the heavens. "Wait, Talen, is that you?!" Tetsuya questioned. Then he remembered... Everything Talen said when she popped up and spoke. "Jun Kotomi... The crystal I gave you is definitely Tesability's... But jokes on you, man... It's fake. jabroni, you fell for it!" he said, revealing all of the other crystals he didn't show everyone including us until now. Then, Jun coughs out the crystal Tetsuya given him. It glowed and started to crack, but in the end it wasn't Tesability altogether much to everyone's surprise. It was in fact a Data Node replica of her. "Wait, I don't remember chucking this in! Jun, you TAINTED this thing!" Tetsuya shouted as the Data Node Blasphemous Shadow went amok, damaging the camp, attacking the Demon Hybrid and attacking the camp mates.

"Son of a jabroni! Talen Avalon, Tetsuya Kousaka! I will get you both for this! You're BOTH toast! Hybrid, kill the Asian guy!" he said, enraged as he commanded the already-rampaging Demon Hybrid to go straight for the kill, grabbing Tetsuya by the neck and since it had already absorbed his weapons, it can use that to its advantage to morph its weapon into a guillotine blade, slicing it straight through Tetsuya, damaging him.

The Torn Streets...

"I knew this would happen eventually. I've heard everything, thanks to Michele... I think that's her name anyway... Or was it Talen? Dad told me part of it before, but never actually revealed her true identity..." Mel thought to herself, collecting all of the thoughts of the other camp mates. "I know where the authentic crystal is... But that will have to wait until we meet again..." she concludes, meeting her fate with several hundred Blasphemous Shadows on the streets. As car remnants fly past her, she fends them off with her Flying Keyblades, her fists and her kicks. "I see... So they aren't willing to give up..."

Back in camp...

"That's enough!"

Kill the demon, forget about everything else."

"All we need to know is Tetsuya, you haven't been thinking straight! And Jun, you're an jabroni. Listen up. I think the Princess knows where the real crystal bearing Tesability is!"

"The one Tetsuya found is nothing but a phony. I know because it was Jun that sent it over! There's absolutely no way Tesability's crystal would end up in camp. If anything, someone must have picked it up from the Garden of Roses, that being Princess Mel Yim!" James says in expertise. Even Tetsuya was taken aback, unsure about the recent events but he does know that James was right.

"So, spill the beans then, James... If Mel knows where the crystal is, how come you never told us?" Meguri questioned as she slowly regains consciousness.

"I can answer that... It's simple. I couldn't think of anyone else other than the Princess that would do such a thing. My master must have told her about Tesability and all of you before we arrived in camp... She was the one that helped my master look through all of your applications anyway..."

"Talen, you'll be relieved to know that Tesability is safe in someone else's hands. Now... How to get rid of this rampaging replica?" James concludes, picking up all of the flaws in Jun Kotomi's plans. It was thanks to Tetsuya who put the fake crystal in. We didn't know of this until now, but I'm sure everything is okay now, yeah?

Moving on...

"James Barker.... You will regret saying this, you JABRONI!" Jun says one last time before switching himself off. We never heard from the guy again...

James, Meguri and Tetsuya teams up and charges straight for the Demon Hybrid, though Tetsuya's health seemed to have started deteriorating. He was prepared for his inevitable death anyways...

"...I'd like to see you try that, Jun. Gemini, melt the rest of that damned thing's face off." In response to her command, Gemini simply stopped moving, instead standing still where he was. "What?! What are you---?!"

"I'm not like my counterpart or the NetMonster you command so often, Michele," he spat out, even as the Hybrid made a swing for his head that seemed to move in slow motion for him. "It would be good for you to remember that I despise being controlled like any other Pokemon or NetMonster." Just before the limb could plow through his face, Gemini leaned back far enough for the swing to miss entirely before grabbing and flipping up into the air before planting a foot of his own into the being's face.

Most wouldn't have caught the aura of blackish-red around his shin and foot, however, so the Hybrid had no chance to brace for the strike that hit its eyes...and melted them away.

"Now then," Gemini simply stated after landing elegantly on his feet, pulling forward the collar of his suit jacket a little as his signature grin returned to his face for the moment. "I'd like to see this run when it can't see where it's going." Glancing towards Tetsuya, the grin remained, though it didn't have as much of the malice in it this time. "Also, the swap was of my own design. I spotted a 'Shadow creating a crystal that was too close to the original, only just darker in color." A strange sigh left his lips as he returned his sight and focus to the Hybrid. "I had hoped that the force awakening would at least give her a chance that someone of her kind could be brought back, but apparently that was not to be---"

A scream left his throat as he was actually caught off-guard by a surge of electricity that coursed through his entire body after entering through his back, experiencing more pain than he was familiar with.

The electricity, which appeared tainted with a strange green color, was sourced from the Node NetMonster replica that had been accidentally created, its green-tinted visor focused on the shapeshifter.

Posts until the Demon Hybrid absconds: 8

Exodia shook his head at the sheer insanity of the situation. Sizing up everything that is occurring in front of his vision, from the infighting betwixt the members of the camp to the random voices from above, he could not compute everything that was going on around him. It was an unusual situation, animated especially as it was. Multiple events swirling into one picture of events that spelled doom. The destruction of the demon was only the focal point of this, the thing that draws you in most.

What the f.... No, it's not even worth saying a word that doesn't well describe this. This is chaos. Utter, pure chaos.

He did not feel well-involved in this situation. He was isolated, simply being the doctor. Keeping everyone alive was his priority, although he didn't think it was possible to defeat this monster in the state that everyone was in. Still, he knew it was only their choice to try. It was the campgrounds. It is-- was-- their home in this chaos.

Even Gemini was being slapped around. A being he thought so powerful was being knocked around like a hacky-sack in a game. This seemed odd to Exodia; it knocked his scope of power out of whack.

He wanted to scream to them, say that they need to flee with what they have left. They need to survive these days, keep running, keep fighting, keep moving. It was their best interest to do so and keep alive.

He didn't feel like they would listen, though. He felt like they were too far gone in their situation, himself not included. He was not involved in the drama; he was too disconnected, too focused on the lives themselves than the events to care. He was a medic, not a warrior.

Still, he was obligated to keep them alive as long as possible. He moved up some, into the range of the Savior of Souls, and gave a quick beam to the three charging souls. He was scared in the wake of the upcoming, ensuing monstrosity of an event.

Just as the Demon Hybrid's face melted off completely, it stops in its tracks and immediately, it envelops itself with aura and stops time except for the foes around him. Literally. Luckily the voices of camp weren't affected by it.

Strong snow storms hailed and everything that was damaged by ethereal flames started turning into liquid nitrogen and the waters that were caught ablaze... It turned into ice, literally. It wasn't the best of sights. It looked like everything the demon was about to destroy now would turn to history. That's... Not the worst part. The Demon Hybrid now flashes and changes colour every second. We couldn't tell whether we could do jack sheet to either the Light or Dark element. We couldn't predict it. We're fortunate the Data Node Blasphemous Shadow was affected by the time freeze. We didn't have to deal with that for the time being.

"Hey... That's not normal..." Tetsuya observed. It didn't look like the sights he was looking forward to. "Ugh, everyone... Get that thing to my house and do it now!" he instructed everyone, approaching the frozen waters and places his hands on the ground. Within a minute of doing so, the ice lifted up, revealing the waters that were still alive and running. "I'll go get us a raft. This isn't what I'm looking forward to. Fend the funker off!" Tetsuya says, pulling out of battle temporarily in order to get an escape raft from his beach house.

"Don't worry about Tetsuya for a minute. We need something to fend this beast off!" James said, but it was already too late. The Demon Hybrid roars, turns itself into liquid and wraps itself into a ball. As soon as it was back to itself once again, anything and everything that was melted away from him or severed had completely regenerated. It let off one more shriek before approaching Gemini and grabbing him be the neck. Even at that time, the latter could do nothing. A minute stands and half of the energy was absorbed from him, all whilst it was still changing colours from bright to dark set of colours almost as if it was changing in rainbow patterns.

Now, Meguri tries to predict the hybrid's immunity. "Nothing. We just have to hit this thing with our bare hands. Buy Tetsuya some time! Exodia, tend to Gemini!"

Tetsuya's Beach House

"C'mon... Where is it?"

Tetsuya searches for his escape raft. It took him a while, but he looks inside his shed containing a canoe, a set of banana boats, three vests and a kayak with a couple of paddles. He takes a kayak and a couple of paddles and left the house, paddling back to the Singing Waterfalls as fast as he could. Even that took time.

"Alright... Just a few metres more... Hurry up, people!" he thought, but then from a distance he saw ethereal blizzard coming from the Demon Hybrid's mouth.

"sheet... That's not good..."

Back in camp...

The Demon Hybrid was still running amok, but it seemed that Meguri was doing all of the work, alongside James. The latter slice and dices at the demon's back whilst the former was fisting and kicking away at it like there was no tomorrow. Even with all that effort, there was no hope.

"Not a single scratch... Eek!" Meguri let off a scream as the Demon Hybrid now breathes out ethereal ice... More like a blizzard, covering the frozen Data Note Blasphemous Shadow as well as the path ahead. Since Meguri was affected as well, she was frozen and until she is saved and the ice is melted off her... She will be out of commission.

Not the ending I had in mind...

"Meg! No!"

"You JABRONI.... I'll have you pay for this!" James taunted as he was ready to retaliate back at the demon. The hybrid breathes more ice at James. He barely dodges the first one. The second time round... He wasn't so lucky. He too was hit by the ice and got frozen, making him also out of commission until he was set free. Now, only Gemini, Exodia and Tetsuya were left.

Just as the timing was in perfect synchronization, Tetsuya arrives with the kayak and a couple of paddles.

"Here, demon! Come at me!"

Then he oversees the two siblings frozen by the ethereal ice. "Aww, sheet... He really pissed me off this time! Get over here, you cowardly bastard!"

The hybrid diverts its attention now to Tetsuya and approaches him at a quick pace, still changing colours. Tetsuya now pushes himself back and paddles back to his house with the Demon Hybrid following it. Just as the Demon Hybrid started to catch up with Tetsuya, the hybrid stops him on his tracks and flips his kayak over, breaking it. Now Tetsuya has to swim back to the shore whilst it chases after him. "Aww, sheet. That was our emergency plan... I'll fend the funker off then... Just relax for now, Exodia and Gemini... Oh, and make sure James and Meg are saved before I come back!" he shouted before leaving for his house once again with the Demon Hybrid tagging along.

Gemini peeled himself off the ground after the sudden shock, still feeling the electricity coursing through him as he did as he stumbled slightly in his steps.

"That," he growled as he turned towards the round being with criss-crossing yellow lines all over itself, "was cheap even for me."

It took him a few moments, due to the remains of electricity still sparking about in his brain, but he finally realized that the being he growled at was not at all moving or responding. "Hu---ack!"

"Gemini!"

A large hand wrapped itself around his neck from behind, almost choking him for a second time in short succession. For some reason, he couldn't move when he should be able to and upon feeling thick liquid starting to drip from the back of his neck, he could feel why. He was losing blood as energy was being drained from him, leaving him with almost no strength to get himself out of this sticky situation.

"It takes...more than..." The demon's red eyes rolled back into his head before they closed, which was the moment the Hybrid tossed the being aside for the moment. A careful eye would see that he was indeed still breathing, but his breaths were shallow and there was a pool of yellow pouring around him from where his neck connected to his back...

Turns until the Demon Hybrid leaves: 4

Exodia was frantic. Two of his allies frozen in ice, the two siblings encased in ice. The other incapacitated being was Gemini, and he did not seem to be doing well. He made sure not to tense up and freeze, and immediately focusing his healing on Gemini, his beam on the highest focused setting. The yellow fluid pooling around the being sent Exodia into panic mode. He tried all that he could to slow the bleeding. He wiped away all that he could from the site, and tried to wrap it up with what little he had. It was a scary thing; seeing somebody possibly bleed out messed with him.

After tending to Gemini and leaving him in a safe spot, he gets to James and Meguri. This whole situation felt like a disaster and it was killing him. They couldn't even escape, either! Meguri was showing this with even any chance of trying.

"I don't have powers to do this! I'll just try to get them out with what little I have." Exodia pulls out his naginata and slashes at the ice as much as he can. It seems like it does NOTHING to it. He gets slightly annoyed and slightly downtrodden by this. He wasn't as physically or magically capable; he had the futuristic healing weapon, and it felt like that was all to it. Just a guy with a sword and a healing beam, with very little power in comparison.

The chaos was going on around him, and him and Tetsuya remained conscious alone. Exodia was the only one who was being consistently conscious and he was just watching. So often just healing and watching and keeping them safe. Very little happened to him, but he was just protecting.

It was a chilling thought. Would they survive? It was the thought on his head. Would they survive?

Time would tell. He just kept hacking and slashing on the ice and tried to make a dent.

It was unlike Gemini to pass out without a fight as he did, and the shapeshifter knew it. However, with the severe loss of blood he wound up enduring, he didn't really have the energy to even try and vocalize words, let alone lift a finger.

"I don't have powers to do this! I'll just try to get them out with what little I have," he caught with his hearing soon after feeling the opening near the base of his neck close up, allowing him to feel the rest of his body once more. The accursed Hybrid had punctured his spinal cord, so there was no telling what future issues he would run into after he tried to get back up.

Slowly opening his eyes, Gemini caught sight of Alexander trying to slice through the ice and miserably failing. Kicking himself for having become so helpless, he moved his hand slightly towards the designated healer of the group with a glowing hand, the same shade of dark-blue suddenly surrounding Ryder's blade before a small miracle happened.

The blade went clean through the ice, the edge now coated with a thin yet durable layer of sharpened blue crystal.

Satisfied that such may help things in the long run, Gemini felt the blackness of sleep overcome him once more before he could build up the energy to fight back. "You may be the best partner here for Ms Black" were the only words that managed to escape his mind before sleep overtook him as a whole...
