jabber2033
So some guy from Delaware started this. Sign it, people. This is needed so badly.
Tentacruel
Not in a million years will this happen. Besides, I'd rather see a newer act, as much as I love the oldies.
.Rai
Super Bowl is a glorious commercialist orgy of pop music and advertising. Frankly, the half-time show is better for it. Metallica's cool and all, but it's not as if Katy Perry didn't do a good half-time show. The entire point of getting huge pop artists like Katy Perry is that their songs are ludicrously catchy, stadium sing-along sort of things. Also not a fan of the whole 'real men play guitars' attitude that is associated with heavy rock and metal: apparently owning an amp and writing angsty lyrics is enough to accredit yourself to being a 'powerful' artist. Nothing against Metallica, of course, great band, but a trend I've noticed.Metallica next time wouldn't be bad though. Especially if they're releasing an album this year.
