Target 1 Xyz Monster you control with the lowest Rank (your choice, if tied): Special Summon from your Extra Deck 1 monster with the same Type and/or Attribute as that monster you control but 3 Ranks higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this effect, except Xyz Summons.

I have to say that's a bit of an interesting card. But for balance reasons you should probably make it once per turn. Just like Astral Force, this card needs some sort of Type or Attribute limitation. Because Attribute limitation leaves a lot of room for sacky plays, I'm just gonna go with type.

Besides that, I see lots of value in this card. Despite giving RUM Burning Abyss another chance by giving them Big Eye, it could do a lot of nice things for the Xyz Meta.

Yeah, this could really use the Type restriction too. Otherwise, i always love to play around with these Rank-Up cards, and one idea i had was to go from Evilswarm Ophion to C5 Choas Chimera Dragon to Heart-eartH Dragon with this and Astral Force. I know i would love to have an easier Heart-eartH Dragon on board, and this card can help me do just exactly that. If this became real, i would love to see the experimental possibilities (that is if BA doesn't ruin it for everyone by going from Dante to Bounzer or Dianthus into Ingunar or Downerd into Big Eye. Don't even get me started on what Mermails can do with this,) Either way, still very fun and i wish to experiment with this.

It really needs both restrictions.  Attribute restriction is far too loose, and while Type Restriction may work, i still say better safe than sorry.  We don't really want Dracossack ranking up into Dora do we?

Other than that I think it's fine.  3 ranks is a very large jump, and so with at the very least type restrictions there are not too many targets for it.

As already mentioned, it needs BOTH the Attribute/Type restriction, otherwise there will be a good amount of abuse.

There are a couple of Decks that'd like nothing better than to turn R4-5s into 7-8s

Ex:

Castel -> Dracossack -> 81/Gangaridai

Evilswarm (except Exciton) or DRXD into 11 and some other DARK/Spellcaster.

101 -> Abyssgaios or something (technically, this one would still go through with the double restriction, since they match.

With the restrictions, there won't be too many targets that can be made, so probably balances that out + won't require a hard OPT.

Last one is an example of something that can work; probably more but cbb to really look those up.

In most cases, gives lower Rank Decks a way to access the stronger card pool, depending on what they are.

(Then again, if you need to test things out, we always have DP for it)
