[Serious] Klav is torn and needs advice.

If someone doesn't somehow yet know, I'm Polish, aka English is not my first language, and that's important for my problem.

So, since I finally own a gaming laptop which is pretty strong, I wanted to finally realize my dream of making let's play Youtube videos. But this is where I meet a problem.

Basically, I have no idea whether I should do them in English or Polish. Both choices have their pros and cons, and I can't decide.

English: The pros are that I can either spam you guys with my videos here or link them to my Skype buddies to gain at least some viewers, or I can advertise myself on other forums and whatnot. Problem being that I have a quite bad English accent, and well, all in all, I'm really no good at speaking. I can talk clearly, but I stutter/lose words a lot, something it's hard to understand me, things like this.

Polish: Well, it's my native language. I just recorded myself talking while I was playing a Hearthstone game and I sent it to a friend, and he said I have a very good voice for this kind of things, which is a thing I heard from a lot of people. Sadly, this trait doesn't carry over to English. The minus is that when I DO make them in Polish, I don't have anything to jump off from, since I don't frequent Polish forums and I don't have many online Polish friends. IRL ones probably wouldn't work.

So, YCM? Suggestions, thoughts, opinions? This is really important to me, so please help D:

While it might be more effort, why not record the video itself in Polish, as it's your native language thus likely to provide more natural commentary on a seperate audio track, then create an English version by muting the commentary and doing a post-commentary?

I don't know, your English always has seemed fine to me.

To be fair, your studdering will lessen overtime. Methinks your just nervous, when your talking in english, which would result in said stutters. So really, just overcoming that shouldn't be that hard.
I myself stutter a lot when I'm talking IRL, but I have other reasons for that. So I can relate to your problem

...Not saying you should go with the implied harder route, I'm just kinda' sorta' offering advice on it.

@Shard: My english is fine. Writing and speaking. But my speaking itself is ugly, I have a weird accent, sometimes I get frozen...stuff like that. Your idea sounds...interesting though.

@Armz: Yeah, I need to practice anyways.

@Voltex: That's the most obvious option I considered, but wouldn't that be somehow weird to watch?

Just gonna throw this out, if you're hoping to get this bigger or something, English is almost always the way to go. I dunno how big the Polish community on Youtube is...

It's worth noting that someone else mentioned that accents on Youtube can help you stand out, and it's honestly really true. That accent that might bother you could be something that works to your advantage if it doesn't make you too hard to understand!

Give English some practice, the more videos you make, the more you should get adjusted to it.

Id recommend recording some in english and showing it to some people to get their feed back. This does two things since it lets you get comfortable doing recordings and allows for some feedback. Honestly though, if you really want to get some following English is going to get you more people. On the bright side, as you make more videos in English you should improve. I mean, you see this even in native speakers if you go back and watch their work when they first started vs. what they put out now.

Either way, best of luck with your video making endeavors. :)
