EndUser
About time to join a place where creativity is over the standards, and balance counts more than power... ...but I guess I should introduce myself, so here it goes. I'm EndUser. My real name is Manolis. I have a liking for tech stuff, but have no idea how to draw (an image, not a card ;) ). I may have in the long run, but for now please bear with it... I hope I can contribute, and I wish for the best between us all.
Flash Flyer - Sakura
In terms of first one, it's about equal here (well, in Advanced) and basically second one holds throughout. Anyway, welcome to the YCM forum, EndUser. I'm Sakura, one of the current Custom Card moderators in addition to the lone moderator of Introductions/Q&A. As for drawing an image, it's not required that you do; most of us just use Google or something to find images. Or if you're good at image editing, you can design your own. That said though, enjoy your stay and don't be afraid to ask one of the staff members or a senior member for assistance if you need any. Have fun! :D
EndUser
Thank you a lot for the welcoming. I forgot to ask a couple of questions before, so I'm stating them here: 1- What acromyns are usually been used? 2- Is it alright to post a reply after someone else's post after a very little time period (like this specific occasion)? 3- Something that is not mentioned at the Rulings sections? Flash Flyer - Sakura
1. Acronyms are YCM (Yugioh Card Maker), GFX (graphics), tl;dr (used for cutting to the point, instead of giving a monologue of everything), BUMP (bring up my post; check the sections for any particular restrictions; the default is usually 24 hours from your last post) 2. There is no time period that you have to wait to reply to a user's post; but do make sure you write reasonable content in it. Especially if you grade Custom Cards, you need to give proper critique/comments on it, which should take about 2-3 minutes to write. 3. Rule threads are at the top of the forum mostly; some are announcements. Make sure you look. Again, not everything can be written down, so if you have questions about something, then please ask for clarification.
Chaotic Angel
Welcome to YCM. As you can see, I've been here for quite a fair amount of time but I do take breaks from here so I try to catch up whenever I can. If you need anything from me, feel free to ask. Of course, I'll answer anything to the best of my ability. Just as long as it's within my speciality.
