Shradow
Mine is definitely PlatinumGames. They've made stuff like the Bayonetta series, Wonderful 101, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, as well as the Viewtiful Joe series, Okami, and God Hand back when they were Clover Studio. They just ooze great games.
mitchermitcher
Falcom, for making Ys and Legend of Heroes(the latter, translations never ;_; ). And for having a pretty great sound team.
Northern Sage
Level-5. Professor Layton, later Dragon Quest games, Ni No Kuni, Fantasy Life… They just have this great ability to make quirky universes and fun games.
Shradow
Those are both goods ones. I recently picked up Ys I, II, and Origin on Steam (will get Oath and Legend of Heroes later), and I've been playing a lot of Fantasy Life (haven't gotten into the Layton series yet, and I've been wanting to play Ni no Kuni 5ever). I Hate Snatch Steal
Blizzard entertainment NOT for WoW For Warcraft III and Starcraft II, because of all the modding potential those games have Assuming it still exists: Lucas Arts Starwars Battlefront I, II, and Starwars Jedi Knight 3 So much modding potential ( :
Tentacruel
Maybe 90's era Rare if that counts as not being Nintendo. Otherwise, hell I don't even know. From?
Shradow
..This.. Severely depends on what you consider to be the "Big Three" Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, it could be literally no one else and I was hoping I wouldn't have to explain it. Slinky
Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, it could be literally no one else and I was hoping I wouldn't have to explain it. Sony is more of a brand than a video game company tbh. Because a lot of famous developers such as Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, and Insomniac actually work for Sony. mitchermitcher
Well, in terms of game consoles/handhelds, those really are the big three. Sony's in-company game developing team is Japan Studios, or so I assume.

Because a lot of famous developers such as Naughty Dog, Santa Monica, and Insomniac actually work for Sony. Sony Computer Entertainment is described as thus on the Wikipedia Page: "Sony Computer Entertainment handles the research and development, production, and sales of both hardware and software for the PlayStation line of handheldand home console video game systems." The page also lists them as a developer for video games but I wouldnt go that far, they just publish games for companies that work for them. Sony Corporation on the other hand... ha. .... .... Anyway my favorite developers/publishers/game companies? FromSoftware and Level-5. I'm faithful to Capcom and Netherrealm Studios (formerly Midway). Agro
def tie between EA or Ubi lol also Sony is more of a brand than a video game company tbh. Shradow
Another of my favorites is Supergiant Games. They're an indie company that's only made two games, but when those two games are Bastion and Transistor, how can they not be one of my favorite companies? LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Intelligent Systems. They made Fire Emblem, the end. And also Paper Mario and Advance Wars.
a bad post
ATLUS for SMT (and to a lesser extent Persona)
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
ATLUS for SMT (and to a lesser extent Persona) Oh, Atlus too. That would be second favorite. It has some great stuff. Though I actually knew them first from Summon Night: Swordcraft Story of all things...which no one but me played apparently. mitchermitcher
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story of all things...which no one but me played apparently. I have that on-hold actually. The game with a kid trying to forge stuff and some tournament going on in the process? I only got far enough to see that smug girl in the tournament suddenly act not-so-smug in the dungeon or something.
Lonk
Used to be AV games, but they no longer exist. Atlus's situation is a bit shaky now that Sega bought them, but they still are publishing games. It might have to go to either Koei Techmo or Namco Bandai. ..This.. Severely depends on what you consider to be the "Big Three" "Big Three" as in the developers that currently have their consoles out in the market. One has to live under a rock to ask a question like this.
Shradow
I sort of want to say Atlus and I sort of don't, since I know they publish a lot of amazing stuff but they don't develop a lot of what they publish. The Disgaea series, for instance, and the greatest video game of all time, Dokapon Kingdom.

Cierfrost
Summon Night: Swordcraft Story is amazing. Came across it some years ago on Vizzed. Never completed it or got very far but what I did play of it stuck with me. Didnt even bother to notice that Atlus published it ;_;...
