I am more curious about the person who graded this than who wrote it.

Paper didn't make any sense.

My English professor (or high school teacher) would've had a severe migraine after reading this.

Hell, anyone would.

Dyson's right though, pictures shouldn't be used for this kind of paper; especially if they make no sense.

TBH, I would've given this an automatic F for a lot of reasons.

Not allowing pictures is perfectly fine....but really all that happened was they got a f***ing 61%? That's not even failing depending on where you are.

This has to be fake, this would get a 0 in any school, plus possible other punishments. This is just a bad paper all together.

I don't know why it bothers me. XD

It's not even funny...in my opinion of course.

Author shouldn't have been penalized for the language. Teacher needs to grow a pair.

The Works Cited is the only thing wrong with this A+ paper.

I believe people who can't think of a better way to state their opinions and refer to using the first derogatory thing that comes to their mind are rather childish and deserve such a penalty. Foul language is unprofessional and simply…immature, especially in a paper.

Not to mention opinions aren't typically a thing with papers, and well…insults are kinda opinionated.

10/10 read though.

That's a f***ing lie. I am actually serious here. Foul language is a tool to create a bias and elaborate a point where other words are uncommon. They also catch people off guard to read, which is used for a clearer point.

Depends on where you're from I guess. I've always used swear words to substitute using real words because I cant be bothered to find the right english word to express what I want to, and since most dont understand Hawaiian Creole a language built entirely upon that principle... well yea. I find swearing to be lazy, unprofessional and absent minded. And yes I ridicule myself for swearing like a sailor all the time.

You're right, it catches people off guard; they expected better out of the writer but they were mistaken.

I never seen it that way, and I see it used all across Medium. I always find the way people use it interesting and it accomplishes more. Swearing is using the English language in a custom tone that people are commonly talking in. The social construct of swearing is why people look at it like that, but there is more behind why it is used and why people use it.

Also, a good writer knows when to not and when to use most tools in his utility, swearing included.

People, you should use Medium, btw. It is pretty dope.

What's interesting is that he obviously knew enough about Oedipus to write the paper, I mean he at least followed a basic outline...kinda. This was funny as hell though, I lost it when I saw The Chronic.

and why did he get a D? Because this shit was gold.

what are you my fucking mom
