[MTG MODERN] Naya Aggro

So, this is the result of deckbrewing at 4am with a friend. Originally, the idea behind the deck was to be able to use Boros Elite in Modern, but ultimately elite was cut for Goblin Guide.

I'd struggle calling it a brew, considering it is essentially almost exactly a Zoo deck!

Wooly Thoctars should be Tarmogoyfs certainly. Probably some other changes, but it does look solid. Dryad Militants and Fleecemanes are probably the dodgiest things in the list at the moment. Dunno what to replace them with though. I'd imagine some mixture of Gaddock Teeg, Qasali Pridemage and some other stuff.

The reasoning behind calling it a brew is because it runs some things, such as what you mentioned, that aren't really seen in zoo decks, forgoing them for things that are simply faster (though not necessarily better). Also, the deck originally was to contain boros elite, which was just hilarious as a concept. I will go through you suggestions one by one. 

 

Tarmogoyfs

 

In many cases, tarmogoyf was a 2 mana kird ape, which was really annoying. It was nice in the delver matchup, but since the entire deck contains only lands, instants, and creatures, it was kinda unreliable.

 

 

Gaddock Teeg

 

Sick idea, I will talk to my friend about that.

 

 

Qasali Pridemage

 

Really good card, but considering how often the deck wants to attack with the team, the exalted is rarely relevant, and blowing up artifacts/enchantments doesn't really do anything against delver, scapeshift, or the mirror. Working great in side, though.

I'd honestly play smiter over thoctar, smiter is just such a solid card in modern right now. But yea, Gaddock is a definite in the sideboard, even thalia wouldn't be bad. It makes UWR decks life difficult.
