ImmortalX999
Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if specifically does the face-down banish position means that it is perma-banned and what can I do with the nont-targeting card effect to bypass the face-down perma banished zone For example: Karma Cut - targets 1 card Discard 1 card to select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, and remove it from play. Then, remove from play any cards in your opponent's Graveyard with the same name as that monster. Torrential Tribute - does not target any one monster When a monster(s) is Summoned: Destroy all monsters on the field. What I want to know: Since I can't look at my face-down banished cards or target them at all, can a effect like: "This effect can target all cards in the face-down banished position and do X with them or activate X." Would this effect work or if no why?
ImmortalX999
I was trying to see potential in making some cards focused around taking banished face-down cards which and creating effects in response to doing something with like for example "Shuffle all face-down banished cards into your Deck, then Draw 2 cards." or "If your Hand is less than your face-down banished cards, you can draw that many cards until you have an equal number in the Hand (min. 1)" Of course these are just examples of effects that I could create with cards that use face-down banished cards. But one thing I am unsure if is can I target any of the face-down banished cards since you said that the face-down cards are considered a blank slate and cannot be viewed by its owner? ImmortalX999
Thanks for the idea Timeskipper, with that I understand more of how the banished zone works now.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could tell me if specifically does the face-down banish position means that it is perma-banned and what can I do with the nont-targeting card effect to bypass the face-down perma banished zone
For example:
Karma Cut - targets 1 card
Discard 1 card to select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, and remove it from play. Then, remove from play any cards in your opponent's Graveyard with the same name as that monster.
Torrential Tribute - does not target any one monster
When a monster(s) is Summoned: Destroy all monsters on the field.
What I want to know:
Since I can't look at my face-down banished cards or target them at all, can a effect like:
"This effect can target all cards in the face-down banished position and do X with them or activate X."
Would this effect work or if no why?
