Valoric Posted January 17, 2015 Report Share Posted January 17, 2015 Hi everybody, I am retrying this because I fell in love with these guys and I love Spellcasters, unfortunately the last time I tried this I was disgustingly unprepared (certainty still a noob, but perhaps not disgustingly so.). These are the Secret Spellcaster Archetype, they are treated as spells when not on the field or the hand ("secret"), and the goal is to use a lock or two in order to control game pace and render your opponent's card advantage useless until you can summon stronger monsters to the field or make bigger plays, then you can choose to summon 1 of a few Boss monsters. I see a few of these being able to be side decked in any deck, like Sky Magician, and I hope you like them. I also would love feed back on better balancing. [Spoiler=Celestial Set] Secret Sun Magician Girl LVL4 LIGHT Spellcaster Effect Atk/2000 Def/0 Once per turn you can send the top 2 cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if they are both Spell cards, then neither player can set or activate Trap cards until your next Main Phase 2. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Moon Magician LVL4 Dark Spellcaster Effect Atk/2000 Def/0 Once per turn you can send the top 2 Cards of your Deck to the Graveyard, and if they are both Spell cards, then neither player can set or activate Spell cards until your next Main Phase 2. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Star Magician LVL4 Dark Spellcaster Effect Atk/1950 Def/1950 If you control another Spellcaster Type monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn you can Banish 2 Spell Cards from your Graveyard, and if you do, Negate all of your opponent's monster effects from monsters that are the same level or higher than this card's level until your next Main Phase 2. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Magician, Celestialis LVL4 Light Spellcaster Effect Atk/1500 Def/1500 If this card is Banished, add it to your hand, then Special Summon it.(this is a Quick Effect). When this card is summoned put Secret Counters on it equal to the number of your Banished Spell cards. This card gains 300 Atk for each counter on it. Once per duel, you can remove all counters from this card to banish all Spell and Trap cards your opponent controls. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Asteroid Magician RANK 4 DARK Spellcaster Effect Xyz Atk/2200 Atk/2200 3 Level 4 Spellcaster Type monsters This card can be Xyz Summoned (with out any Xyz Materials) if you have 6 or more banished Spell Cards. If this card were to leave the field, send it Face-Up to the Extra Deck instead. While this card is on the field and you have 2 or more banished Spell cards, Neither Player can Special Summon Monsters from the Graveyard or Main Deck. Secret Sky Magician LVL 4 Wind Spellcaster Effect Atk/1650 Def/2000 If you draw this card, you can reveal it to draw 1 more card. You can Special Summon this card from the hand by banishing 1 card from your hand. While this card is in the Graveyard, Negate all of your opponent's monster Effects that activate in or from the Graveyard. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Forest Magician LVL4 Earth Spellcaster Effect Atk/2550 Def/1500 This card can not attack. While this card is Face up on the field, you opponent can not target or select other monsters you control with effects except this card. If this card would be targeted with an effect, negate that effect and destroy this card. This card is Treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. This card's effects can not be negated. Secret Ice Magician Girl LVl 4 Water Spellcaster Effect Atk/1950 Def/1950 If this card is banished, add it to your hand, then Special Summon it. When this card is Summoned, Declare an Attribute. While this card is Face up on the field only monsters with the Declared attribute can Attack. This Card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Stone Magician Lvl 4 Earth Spellcaster Effect Atk/1900 Def/2100 You can Banish the top card of your deck to Special summon this card (from your hand). While this card is Face up on the field, Neither Player can Special Summon from the hand. This card is Treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Ruby Magician LVL7 Dark Spellcaster Effect Atk/2000 Def/2550 If you control a Spellcaster Type monster, then you can Special Summon this card (from the hand). Once per turn you can Banish the top 2 Cards of your Deck, and if they are both Spell cards, then you can Banish 1 face up card on the field. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Sapphire Magician LVL 7 Dark Spellcaster Effect Atk/2000 Def/2550 If you control a Spellcaster Type monster, then you can Special Summon This card (from the hand). Once per turn you can Banish 2 Spell Cards from your Graveyard, and if you do, you can either Draw 1 card or add 1 of you Banished cards to your hand. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. You can activate this card from your hand as a Continuous Spell Card with this effect: Once per turn you can Banish 2 Spell cards from your Graveyard to add 1 "Secret" card from your deck to your hand. Secret Warlock, The Spell Sword Lvl 4 Dark Spellcaster Effect Atk/2200 Def/2200 You can banish this card from your hand to draw 1 card. If this card is banished by any other effect, Draw 1 Card. If this card is attacked or targeted, negate that attack or effect that targets this card and instead destroy this card. This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the field or in the hand. Secret Sorcerer Of Darkness Lvl 12 Dark Spellcaster Effect Synchro Atk/2850 Def/3550 1 Tuner + 1 or more Spellcaster Type monsters This card is treated as a Spell card while not on the Field or in the Extra Deck. This card can be Treated as a monster while banished for the summon of a Spellcaster Type monster, but only for the summon of that monster. Negate all Trap card effects. Secret Wizard of Darkness Lvl 12 Dark Spellcaster Effect Synchro Atk/2850 Def/3550 1 Tuner + 1 or more Spellcaster Type monsters This card is treated as a Spell card While not on the field or in the Extra Deck. This card can be Treated as a mosnter while banished fro the summon of a Spellcaster Type monster, but only for the summon of that monster. Negate all Spell card effects. Secret Magician, Star Fury Rank 8 Dark Spellcaster Effect Xyz Atk/2500 Def/2100 2 Rank 7 Spellcaster Type monsters This card can be Xyz summoned (without any Xyz Materials) by having 15 or more Spell cards banished. This card gains 200 ATK for every Banished Spell card. This card can not be targeted by your opponents card effects. There can only be 1 "Secret Magician, Star Fury" on the field at a time. Secret Spellcaster, Exodia Rank 9 Spellcaster Effect Xyz Atk/3300 Def/4400 2 Rank 8 Spellcaster Type mosnters This card can be Xyz Summoned (without any Xyz Materials) by having 20 or more Spell cards Banished. Negate all other Monster effects while this card is on the field. Once per turn you can pay 1500 Life Points to banish all cards on the field, but this card can not attack the turn you activate this effect. There can only be 1 "Secret Spellcaster, Exodia" on the field at a time. [/spoiler] [spoiler=Spells] This deck doesn't really run with Traps, so I didn't make any. Secret Spell, Chaos Attack Normal Spell card If you control 1 or more face up Level or Rank 7 Spellcaster-Type monsters, then banish all set cards your opponent controls. Secret Spell, Chaos Convergence Normal Spell Banish the top 5 cards of your deck. If they are all spell cards, you can draw 1 card. Secret Spell, Chaos Force Quick-Play Spell This card's activationn and effects can not be negated (Spell Speed 4). Activate only when an opponents monster declares an attack, Banish all monsters on the field. Secret Spell, Gift Of The Spellcasters Continuous Spell Once per turn, while you control a Dark or Light Spellcaster Type monster, you can add 1 of your Banished Spell cards to your hand. If the only cards in your Graveyard are Spell cards, then this card can not be destroyed. Secret Spell, Obliterate Quick-Play Spell This card's effect can not be activated unless you control 1 face up DARK or LIGHT Level or Rank 4 or higher Spellcaster Type monster. Banish all the Spell Cards in your Graveyard (Min. 5), then banish all cards on the field and in both player's Graveyards. Secret Spell Of Chaos Normal Spell Activate only if you control 1 face up LIGHT or DARK Spellcaster-Type monster. Banish Spell Cards from your Graveyard (Max. 3), then during your End Phase, add 1 of your Banished Spell Cards to your hand. Secret Spell, Hand Of The Magician Normal Spell Activate this card by banishing up to 4 Spell Cards from your Deck and discarding 2 cards, then draw cards equal to the number of cards you discarded. You can only activate this card if you control a LIGHT or DARK Spellcaster Type monster. Secret Spell, Star Fire Normal Spell If you control 1 face up Level or Rank 7 or higher Spellcaster-Type monster, then you can banish all Spell Cards in both players Graveyard to inflict 200 damage per card banished to both players. If you control a Level or Rank 12 DARK Spellcaster Type monster, then cards and effects can not be activated in response to this card's activation, and its effects can not be negated.
