Post the best YGO card you have made

Recommended Posts

I tried something like this in RC but my mistake was to ask for "well designed cards" when most people were uploading questionable cards, so I'm bringing the thread to this section where we can be more lax on card design, power level, etc.

Anyways, as the title says, post the card that you consider is the best you have made so far. Even if you are not a card maker anymore, I guess that if you are here in YCM at some point you made a couple or two, and you are welcome to post one of those cards; even if the OCG is flawed or not up-to-date, don't worry about it as long as it is understandable.

It can be a well designed card, a broken card, a joke card, etc., they are welcome here, it doesn't matter. If a broken card or a joke are your best cards, so be it.

A couple of rules:

1. You can only post 1 card. Choose wisely. If you make a better card in the future, update your post with that new card.

2. Don't review, rate or comment on other cards posted in this thread. This is not a "Rate my card" thread. If you have anything to say to a card creator after looking at his/her card, send him/her a PM or write on his/her status, make another thread, etc.; in short, discuss about it somewhere else.

3. You can comment on your own card. While you cannot comment on other cards, you are free to comment on your own. This is to allow users to include special rulings regarding their cards, mention bits of trivia or references that add flavor to the card, breakdown the effects and/or purposes of the card, etc.

4. Type the card text under the card image. So it will be easier to read.

5. Cards with outdated OCG are allowed. If you made a card years ago and you haven't edited but think it is your best, you can post it without bothering with updating it with new OCG, as long as it is understandable.

(If the thread takes off I will post a card of mine).

Really put much thought into this when I created it:

4 Level 4 monsters
Any card sent to the Graveyard is banished instead. If this card is banished while it has Xyz Material: You can Special Summon this banished card, then you can attach 1 of your removed from play "Dimensional" Xyz monsters to this card as an Xyz Material. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; banish that target.

I think this is the coolest and strongest boss i ever created, so it has what it takes to be my 'best' card.

If you think the summoning condition is too high to reach, just see the archetype's original post:

http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/318721-dimensional-archetype-99/

-ruling note: Just like Banisher of the Radiance, it doesn't get removed from play by its own effect if destroyed or sent to the Graveyard. But this archetype can search cards like Dimensional Fissure and Interdimensional Matter Transporter very easily so...

3 Level 9 monsters

(1)If your opponent Special Summons a monster: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; Negate the Summon. If this card has a Dragon-type Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect:
•You cannot activate the (1) and (2) effects of this card during the same turn. (2) Once per turn: You can attach 1 Dragon-type monster on either side of the field to this card as an Xyz Material.

Badass.

This card is simply fair only because of the floaters involved in this ages meta... if not it can stick around for a quick beatstick if needed... or synchro material.... it's open for dark bribe, wire tap, seven tools of the bandit, or that one card with a statue of stardust on it... cant recall the name. Mst helps as well... which people will have to fight pends or among other things. Not saying this card cant be useful... but that its not over powered. This card can help take out beaters without protection easily... and then be reused once per turn of course. For a trap monster... its quite useful tbh. But not unstoppable by any means.

Continuous Trap

Special Summon this card, it is treated as an Effect Monster (Warrior-Type/DARK/Level 5/ATK 2000/DEF 1000). (This card is also still a Trap Card) Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, destroy that target. If you do, set this card face-down in the Spell/Trap Zone.

It's either this one or 110, but you already have access to 110 in the Psychic Dragon thread, so I'll let 115 have its turn.

(* insert Raikou vibe here *)

2 Level 6 monsters
When this card is Xyz Summoned: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; halve its ATK/DEF. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; it can attack all other monsters your opponent controls once each. When this card is destroyed while it has Xyz Material: Special Summon it during your next Standby Phase.

Probably this:

"Cyber Dragon" + "Power Tool Dragon"
A Fusion Summon of this card can only be done with the above Fusion Material Monsters. Once per turn you can banish 1 LIGHT Machine-Type monster in your graveyard; this card gains ATK equal to half the banished monster's DEF until the End Phase. Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, you can target 1 monster in your graveyard: Equip it to this card. If this card would be destroyed (either by battle or card effect), you can send the equipped monster to the graveyard instead. This card gains 500 ATK for each card equipped by this effect.

It's certainly not a good card but it probably is the best I came up with......Okay in all honesty it's my favorite simply because I amused myself with its name.

"During each player's End Phase, they must reveal all face-down cards they control(Flip Effects are not activated). At the start of your Draw Phase: Look at the top card of your Deck, then, place it on the top or bottom of your Deck. If this face-up card is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: Draw 2 cards."

Even about a year on, I am still fond of this one.
Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand, and if you do, your opponent chooses 1 of these effects.
*Skip your next Draw Phase.
*Skip your next Main Phase 1 and Main Phase 2.
*Skip your next Battle Phase.
This card cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. When this card is Summoned: Change this card to Defense Position. While this card is face-up on the field, your opponent cannot target other monsters you control with an attack. During the damage step, when this card is being attacked: The attacking monster loses 500 attack (permanently), then inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. There can only be one face-up "Little Spike Ball" on the field.

Either this or bunnicula

Also taking this opportunity to post what is in my opinion my best card:

2 Level 4 monsters
Cannot be targeted by your opponent's Trap Cards. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target, and if you do, if it was a Trap Card with the same name as one in your Graveyard, banish it instead of sending it to the Graveyard, then you can Set 1 card with that name from your Graveyard.

A backrow remover for the Rank4 pool, backed up by a Trap immunity to ensure she gets the job done, and with additional effects against Traps. Flavor-wise, as an expert on traps, Vivyzian is able to both remove and build Trap Cards, and uses the opponent's destroyed Trap as a resource to build her own, hence her removal and recycling effects.
