TAS can do some wonderful things[/spoiler]

For any other Big Bands out there:  if you want to marginally increase the salt levels of your opponent, try to learn these for during Satchmo Solo or after a match:

Well I've gone and lost my controller. With the keyboard I can't consistently use the moves that require you to move the stick a certain way along with buttons. >.>

Don't you have a PS3 controller or something similar?

or is that the one you lost? XD

I just decided to get up in her face and spam down attack, the hair drill she does while posing like a French girl.

1st form, did it like 3 times, then block.

2nd form, did it once, then block, then repeat

3rd form....I was impatient, and went full out attack XD

You mean Ringlet Spike? Personally, I went with that from the distance when using Filia. Because this way, at least I could see those damn skull dragon things coming with some advance.

If you want a suggestion, when you're using Painwheel try to pass often from one side to the other. It may give you a chance of dodging some of her most damaging attacks, at least during the first two phases.

It's the one while she's crouching, and sort of leans back as her hair thing attacks, in a multihit drill-ish kinda thing.

I don't think it's the ringlet spike, as I recall that's the one that's long-range.

@The Progenitor - what is this now?

When Skullgirls was still in Beta, Marie 300% was released to compensate for an unfinished Story mode.  This can now be accessed in the Extras menu.  It's basically Marie thats 4 times stronger, has 4 times the HP, and is on nightmare difficulty.  Nearly impossible except for the very best and very very lucky

Huh, a Skullgirls thread, whadya expect? Nice.

A good friend gave me the game on steam, and I've played around with it here and there. Sad to say I missed some of the DLC characters when they were free(Can't be arsed to get 'em back then), so if I ever get invested in SG I'll regret it soon enough.

Liked Ms. Fortune and Valentine the most. The former due to kinda being two characters at once with her head and all, and the latter because of two things. Both are located below her neck.

Well that actually sounds legitimately impossible.

The Ringlet Spike is the one that erupts from the ground, and it's the only attack that I remember where Filia uses her hair as a drill...

Naw, not that one. It's one where she simply crouches and does...either weak or medium....kick/punch.

Regardless, that's not important XD haha

Yes.  YES.  I could help set things up if you want :)

(We should wait until Beowulf's out and everyone's had a bit to figure him out.  No, this isn't just because his stage is perfect for a tournament; that would be ridiculous)

Yeah we still need to let the YCM Skullgirls community build a bit as well, but at the very least we can think about it.  We could just do a thing where whoever hosts the Tourney friends everyone, makes the lobby, and makes a bracket on a tourney site, then over steam group chat you can announce the matches and share the bracket.

Completely unrelated, but I just had to show this for those who aren't familiar with the Legends that are made at EVO.

The fact that this was the final round game 3 made it absurd.

I raise you this

XD

I wish I was as good as any of these people... XP

But that Street Fighter one was crazy.

Okay time for me to throw my two cents into the ring:

First of all, Not all the fighters have big shelves. Look at Peacock, she was turned into a 1930's cartoon character before she could get hers, Painwheel was turned into a freak. Feel bad for her. Saw her ending, not happy at all. Neither is Squiggly's.

Second is concerning Marie. If you guys played other fighting games well:

Be thankful the programmers did not give Marie the strength and AI of Parace L'Sia from Arcana Heart 3. Plus, in two stories She is not the final boss, heck in Eliza's story she's not even the penultimate boss.

Finally, If I had to pick a favorie, it would be a tie between Parasoul and Peacock. Don't get me wrong, Valentine's hot, but her super move kinda creeps us out.

Valentine: "Tell me where it hurts..."

You do not want to see the mess behind that curtain.

I'd say the hardest video game boss I've ever faced was Deidara in Clash of Ninja Revolution 3

1. Deidara should not have been a final boss

2. Doesn't flinch

3. can 1HKO you.

took me like 3 hours to beat the bastard.

But Marie at 300% can probably top that..so...yeah. XD
