Blake
Also excuse you? I did refute your claims, not my fault you disagree with my opinions. :TNo you didn't...? Opinion is not refuting. FE games are widely accepted to have poor plots, Awakening included. FE4/5 tend to be thought of as good, and 8 tends to be good but too short. Sure, you can stomach a classic story, but when it's in lieu of better that also exists next to it, how can you really be satisified? As for the full games thing, basic logic tells you this, aside from Gaming trends. A single FE:A map costs 3~ bucks, or 2~ in a bundle. In Japan, the prices were about the same. So, assuming, 16.7 is what each branch of DLC costs in Japan. If they sell maps post-launch for that much, even assuming the cheaper price, that's equivalent to a little more than 8 maps. And those are maps with no major plot. Assuming the value carries over, then the games are hilariously overpriced, even assuming discounts. Halve the prices. 1 dollar a map. That's not quite 17 maps, and not even accounting for the plot effort put in. There is no way they'd sell a whole game to you for 16.7 bucks, especially not 2 at that price. Something has to give for that to make sense.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Opinion is a perfectly valid way of refuting something that is purely opinion based.
Phantom Roxas
I don't think anyone will be surprised that marriage is in this game, but kids are in it too.
Blake
That's definitely some good news, though I feel like one more time in a row might stretch it thin. Definitely good here, though.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I'm glad, that was a lot of fun in Awakening. Mixing and matching pairs and stuff.I just wonder what they'll do....As the article said it'd be bad to do the future thing again, but it's one of the few logical reasons...We'll see I suppose. Whatever they do I'm guessing it'll be pretty cool though.
Shradow
I fully expected marriage to return, and while I'm perfectly fine with children again I have no idea how they're gonna explain this one without being convoluted. XD

Phantom Roxas
Given how Luna, Lazward, and Odin are based on Severa, Inigo, and Owain, I'm hoping that we get some explanation that can tie this back to Awakening, if only so that some of the kids from Fates could be viewed as children of the second generation from Awakening. For example, if you married Olivia or Lissa in Awakening, and Lazward and Odin get kids in Fates, you could view their kids as effectively your grandchildren. Shradow
I'm wondering how the worlds themselves tie in to previous games, if at all. Every game but PoR/RD takes place in the same world, just at vastly different times.

Every game but PoR/RD takes place in the same world, just at vastly different times.Actually, that was never confirmed for FE6, 7, and 8. Only 1-5 and 13 are 100% confirmed for same universe. Roy was meant to be re!marth, so it's highly likely that 6-7 are different, and 8 is a wild card. This game was, apparently, stated to be completely unrelated, but... the three lookalikes make me wonder.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Just watch this ends up being the longest Fire Emblem to date and spans multiple generations, both with a large amount of chapters.I know it won't be but holy cow that'd be crazy. It's technically only 12 chapters that spans two generations. However, each chapter is, like, 3-4 (mostly) simulataneous maps long. Even the prologue is 2-3 iirc. It's long and hard as funk. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
That, honestly, sounds pretty cool to me. I wonder if they could update that idea and make a new game similar to that...hmm...

a bad post
Uh, as cringe worthy as it is you can S-Rank Hoshido siblings too. I believe I read somewhere though that marrying your siblings just has them called companions instead. Also some characters also have access to something called an A+ rank, which is basically like S-Rank for same-sex units (except it's more platonic I believe and no marriage involved). The Avatar however cannot achieve any A+ ranks

a bad post
So does this mean.... Same-sex marriages/relationships?!somewhat. All A+ relationships are platonic, and don't involve marriage. It's just kinda implied. [spoiler=Soft Spoilers]http://i.imgur.com/l7fIJdY.jpgEveryone's favorite character is back running the DLC again. Hopefully she's playable [spoiler=Major Spoilers !click at your own risk!]Ok so the sword Garon gives to Corrin at the beginning of the game Gangalari or whatever it's called explodes and kills Mikoto (apparently) and that's when Corrin first transforms into a dragon. Also it's revealed in Sakura's S-Rank that you're in fact only half siblings with your Hoshidian family and that Mikoto is your birth mom, but Corrin came from a different father. Agro
The English translation in Awakening made it so that if Owain and Lucina got S-ranked, they were called "companions" rather than married. Assuming that will stay the same. [spoiler=In any case, you know who I'm shooting for.]
