They question is if you go MATURE or not.

tbh, probably prefer mature female and the immature (normal?) male

Kinda sad that they cut down on the body type options, playing as a loli/shota was really amusing in awakening. Oh, well I guess I can still cut people down as a loli avatar in this game, so no biggie. Honestly, though, I don't really like the mature male Kamui, his chin looks really awkward. Both of the female options look pretty good though.

Galeforce is Hoshido only

tumblr_mguoermMZZ1rm5sbno1_500.gif

why does supernatural have all the gifs, i don't even like that show

It seems lik Hoshido is very much targetted at beginners, though the issue is that it creates a setting (japan/orient) that is, honestly, very different from the rest of the series seem like standard. The Hoshidan side should have been the side with a revolutionary plot and mechanics and the like. They played it far too safe, and the general consensus I've seen is that it came out rather poorly, aside from being an entry point to the franchise.

I'm inclined to agree, as it is apparently much easier and straightforward. The skills themselves show you such. Allow me to (spoiler potentially?) show you the skills for the Nohr promoted Lord and the Hoshido promoted lord.

[spoiler=Their skills, names not listed for spoilers]Nohr:

Skill 1: After a battle with a unit equipped with this skill, if the enemy survived the battle, they receive -4 to all stats until the next Players turn during their turn or the next Enemy turn during their turn.

Skill 2: While Paired Up in Attack or Guard Stance (new versions of pairing up), user can use any of their support units skills and vice versa. It is learned by Dark Bloods

Hoshido:

Skill 1: Adjacent allies have a chance to take half damage equal to their LUCK/2

Skill 2: Adds 10% to skill activation rates after calculating the initial activation rate based on stat related activation rates. It is learned by White Bloods (so rightful king)

Nohr is, like, leagues better. Hoshido's are bad and Rightful King.

Nohr seems to have much more backing on the whole, as the setting (midieval/pseudo-rome) is something much more familiar, the gameplay lacks a world map (thus no infinite grinding bullshit, though i did like having the ability to grind support), they did something different with the plot, no galeforce (or so I've seen), and more. It also has a few spoilery mechanics taken from FEs 4 and 5 that change it up a bit.

The Nohr characters also seem to have gotten more traction than the Hoshido side.

All in all, I won't feel bad about just buying Nohr. From what I've been seeing, Nohr is worth the 40 dollars, and we know nothing about the third path yet.

Hoshido, however, only seems worth the cost for a new player. I'm not sure it's even worth the DLC price, which actually makes me feel a lot better.

Oh, and 9 Save slots hype.

Well I never cared much about difficulty. Besides the highest difficulties I never found the games that difficult (haven't played the earlier ones though) even without grinding/abusing/"breeding" (in awakening)/etc. So honestly difficulty doesn't matter much to me. ^^;

I still think it has enough to make me want to buy it, so I shall get both, and probably enjoy both. ^^

Speaking if kids... I just realized something.

The Avatar obviously has a kid like Morgan... Because 3 relationship slots and because I SAY SO BECAUSE M!MORGAN IS GREATEST CHILD EVER BLLLLARGH!!!

Eh hem, anyways, do the same sex couple have that kid? .... Can they? That's kinda... Biologically impossible... So... Are you being punished for doing same sex marriage? Like... "You can have yaoi or yuri, but no kid for you!"?
