lightswornGENEX Posted January 12, 2015 Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 please be aware that i mostly would only use this in locals and no higher(i mean...LOOK AT THE DECK! not meta, anymore :P ) i would appreciate suggestions that could help me add cards to my hand fast or let me special summon faster.. This deck is mostly for summoning shooting star dragon and red nova to basically win the game with them. i am of course using the newest ban list, for 2015. without further ado.. monster: 3 divine dragon apocralyph 3 kidmodo dragon 3 flamvel guard 2 dragard (for flamvell guard) 3 stardust xiaolong 3 dread dragon 3 masked dragon 1 darkflare dragon 1 red eyes darkness metal dragon 3 battle fader Spell: 2 mystical space typhoon 2 a wingbeat of giant dragon 2 dark hole 1 raigeki 3 swords of revealing light Trap: 2 dark bribe 1 solemn warning 1 mirror force 1 compulsory evacuation device Extra deck: 2 formula synchron 2 stardust dragon 2 red dragon archfiend 2 shooting star dragon 2 red nova dragon 2 phonon pulse dragon 3 samsara, dragon of rebirth Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sir Yamiegg Posted January 17, 2015 Report Share Posted January 17, 2015 Sorry if this sounds harsh, but this deck is never going to summon anything worthwhile against most decks nowadays, not just the meta. All your cards are too slow, and you will need to expend a lot of resources to make the smallest play; your Synchros do not make inherent advantage and are easy to deal with. If you want to compete even at a Local level with this, you will need to revamp it completely; you could make it into Chaos Dragons, Blue-Eyes.dek or Reckless Labradorite Synchro - which is closer to the original theme. If you want to keep some semblance of the original theme, add 3 Mathmetician, 2 Carboneddon, remove the Kidmodos, drop all but 1 Xiaolong and the Acropalyphs, and remove Darkflare for BLS. Add a plant engine; 1 Debris, 2 Lonefire, 1 Spore, 1 Glow-up Bulb, 1 Dandylion; this will help you make Synchros faster. Swords and Bribe are bad in a deck like this; remove them, possibly the Holes, add Snatch Steal, a couple of Wiretaps/Trap Stuns/Fiendish Chains.
