Draconus297
I'm going to say Repentance. My reasons: 1. More opportunities to use it. After all, most monsters with decent effects use them before battle, not after- something that "Lingering Spirit" seems to gloss over. 2. It's really good effect negation, which gets over "cannot be destroyed" clauses rather nicely. I can count decent negation cards that don't destroy on one hand, and "Repentance" would help fix that. 3. No feeding. Now, while admittedly rare, archetypes exist that want their monsters banished, which is part of the cost of "Lingering Spirit". Meanwhile, the only thing "Repentance" feeds is your Life Points, and even that is only if it's popped by your opponent. 4. Wording. This is admittedly petty, but something about the text of "Lingering Spirit" legitimately irks me. It might be something about the fact that it doesn't say exactly where the monster effect needs to come from, giving it the dubious honor of being capable of countering Stardust. Meanwhile, all of the effect of "Repentance" is considerably more cut-and-dried, specifying monsters on the field and having the ability to use its power during any point in the turn. Flash Flyer - Sakura
Card A is essentially Divine Wrath, except it shuffles the monster into the Main Deck and lacks a discard cost. Also provides a 1000 LP bonus should your opponent be careless enough to destroy it with an effect. How would this trigger against Xyz Monsters like Castel, Exciton, 101 and the like? Probably wouldn't work, if I read the wording properly. Even if it doesn't hit Extra Deck monsters; can still put a block on other monsters. Card B is gimmicky and requires that you use it on a monster that's already killed your cards. Out of fairness, card would really only trigger against "If/when this card destroys a monster by battle" effects; there are a few, yes, but not particularly ones that work well nowadays. In other words, its niche is VERY limited and requires that you keep track of the monsters that said target already killed. Going for card A on this one for being usable, and not being like the other 20+ negate/destroy cards that exist.

goddamnit names are a pain
As much as I hate to vote for A because it's a knockoff of Wiretap with a little added part…..and it's kind of stupid because it shuffles the damn monster into the deck…Card B doesn't do a whole lot. Especially not in today's game, where most things are based on hitting the grave/etc. Card B is a bit too costly and specific to get my vote; it needs to wait for a monster to be destroyed AND you have to banish a specific-ish monster. I vote for Card A.
