Card A Sage's Authority Counter Trap When a Spell Card is activated: Banish one Spell Card from your deck; negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card. Jluiz
Let me try explaining better, the first card is very similar to an already existing card, while the B has a powerful effect that can give a good advantage to the one who uses it, not only you can negate a spell card but also Special Summon a monster, it has much more potential to be used on a Fiend-Type deck. Nathanael D. Striker
I vote for card B, the first one is just a somewhat different magic jammer, and i also liked the B card art Not enough reasoning for B and it barely even talks about the cards, so vote invalid for now. Northern Sage
Card A is a bit interesting. One free Spell negation without being a -1 like Magic Jammer, but the cost is actually pretty heavy. You're wasting a card you dedicated to your deck. It requires strategic thinking and I can respect that. Of course, you could always banish another copy, but if you really don't want to waste other Spells, you're restricted to one usage. Card B (I'll just assume it SS from hand since that's the general rule if it doesn't specify) suffers greatly from overspecialization and not being generic enough. Equip Spells just aren't a big enough threat to run something this narrow. Even with a free SS afterwards. Vote for A.

宇佐見 蓮子@C94
i vote for A because A isn't completely terrible i can probably elaborate more, but i'm lazy. gist of it is, card B is a very specific negation card with an odd cost and a second effect that seems to be incomplete. (does not specify where to summon the card from) card A is nothing special but it's relatively less bad

Darj
Card A: More or less a Wiretap for Spells. As 2D pointed out, the cost of milling an Spell of yours is interesting because you will have to pick a card that has a purpose in the deck. Also I think it could actually have an impact on the metagame and become relevant by stopping Necloth Rituals, Shaddoll Fusion Spells, and Pendulums Spells. Card B: This card doesn't look good. It is just too specific: it only counters 1 kind of card, while it is playable only in Fiend-type decks. It doesn't specify from where the Fiend is Summoned from, but even if it did it from the Deck it wouldn't be worth of running it, since it is only live against Equip decks. Vote for Card A. Jluiz
Ouch, i didnt saw card B was just for Equip spells, it reduces it's usability too much, changed my vote to A, it can see a lot more of use and strategy, instead of luck to activate. Nathanael D. Striker
Alright, Toyo's vote counts. Voltex's makes it 3-0 Hata no Kokoro. Never thought I'd ask for elaboration this much, but it's for the best most of the time.
goddamnit names are a pain
I would like to say a few things real quick Card A: More or less a Wiretap for Spells. I did not even think how much it would affect the meta. Just…wow. Other people seem to be good at catching what all my card can do, even more than I can. xP Finally, Spellbooks could utilize this- with things like Spellbook of Eternity. Anyway. Thanks to all for the votes!
