-Griffin
So, I used to run the most rage-inducing Deck called PAWMAN which basically negated everything forever. I was looking at making it again to test this format, but Judgement is @0 and Warning @1. What new counter-traps are good, if any?
Spinny
Wiretap is ok. The traptrix setup counters things but are not exactly counter traps. Black horn of heaven isn't terrible.
~Faytl~
^Basically this. Counter traps in general are kind of falling out of fashion because all the really powerful ones have been powerful enough to garner list attention. Stuff like Seven Tools isn't of much use now because the meta is so based toward monster effects now, and other counter traps like Magic Jammer and Destruction Jammer require discards. Of ones that are decent, I think Debunk has it's uses.
Slinky
Y'know. Destruction Jammer sees a lot less play than it should. I think people just forgot it existed.
-Griffin
Destruction Jammer requires a discard & only protects monsters, when people will often try to clear backrow first. I think people play Starlight Road over it for a reason.
Toffee.
Apparently in the TCG you can use Black Horn on multiple Pendulum Summons.Apparently we are THAT afraid of Qliphs.
newhat
stahp projecting Wiretap is as boring and as practical as ever, and Solemn Scolding is solid but doesn't work in stun. For older cards, Debunk is strong right now, and Cursed Seal of the Forbidden Spell can win games by itself.
vla1ne
I'm not sure if it even sees use anymore, but drastic drop off used to be fun in the counter fairy type decks(and come to think of it, divine punishment is pretty much a slightly harder to get out variant of solemn warning.)also, counter counter on solemn warning might be rare, but when it happens, the salt is delicious.
