Some TCG rule clarifications

OMEGAcat

Question

As best as I can tell this is where I should be posting this. I'm working on some cards right now and I currently have a card that, when destroyed by battle, is placed in your opponent's s/t zone as a spell card. I'm wondering if there's any precedence for when this card is despelled/destroyed, would it go to your opponent's graveyard or your own? Thanks in advance.

The member was asking a basic question about what happens if your opponent has one of your cards, and it gets destroyed/leaves the field.

It's for a general case, not factoring in Macro Cosmos or whatever. (I didn't forget about the Pendulum/BTH thing)

But yeah, Pendulums will go to the Extra Deck and if a banishing card is on the field; they go to your banished zone.

Point is though, if a card leaves the field, it returns to its owner's side (whether it's the graveyard, banished zone or hand); unless a card specifically says so.
