It seems as if you start to add hints of highlights and shadows but then you either over-do it in some areas, under-do it in others or just fall short and not execute it fully. Some areas there's just a random glare, why dis. The whole thing looks grainy as fuck, which could be cool if done correctly, as it stands however it just makes it look lq. Just duplicated the layer and added a Screen or Dodge, one was changed by flipping the duplicate vertically and adding a Screen to that. The other one I can't remember. YOUR ORIGINAL: MY EDITS <3 This edit gives more ambience in your piece. Too much purple (in other edits) takes away the dark atmosphere whilst this allows the yellow light to take over better.
