Night
30-40 layers / 1.5 hours. More of a symbolic piece with photomanip elements, I used about 4 different stocks for the BG, rendered each of them along with the girl. cnc.
Catman25
Assuming you scratched the c, which is pretty sick. Assimilation of all your elements is cool, but the whole depth seems a little off. Bottom half of the right side blends pretty well, but transitioning to the dark middle ground is a little rough, so you have this dark, blurred midsection sandwiched by sharp, light fg and bg, which looks cool color wise but still trying to make up my mind whether it works depth wise. Madsen
post w/out gmap on the right, the contrast doesnt work imo
Lunar Kid
Interesting concept, but the colours/contrast aren't working in your favour. Given the abstract nature, I wouldn't comment much on the circle, except that it looks oval and not rounded? Not sure... Anyways, a nice piece somewhat! chairman ali
It's not really abstract. He states "photomanip" and everything is pretty clear that there are buildings and a human/humanoid form in there. I personally don't think this is working, mainly because of the huge differences in contrast. I'd rather have you invert it so that the right side is more visible than the left. Then I can actually give you advice from there. btw, why do you type up the amount of layers in the tag? [curious, that's all]

[curious, that's all] Tried it, doesn't look good. Mostly habit, plus I frequently browse through my old showcase threads and having the info for recollection helps.
