What I Finished and What I Thought About it

As the title implies. Anyone can share their thoughts on any anime, manga, or hell, source material for anime/manga they've finished that they want. I figure I’d load a remake of this thread with short thoughts on what I've been watching/reading since I've been gone since most anime don’t get as much talk after they've been finished and it’s been longer than most necrobumps used to be.

 

[spoiler=Anime]Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth - Very interesting to see an anime that takes place so far back with no action, and I very much appreciate it for that and the theme of cultural barriers. 8/10

 

[spoiler=Because the first spoiler isn't going up to as far as it should and oh my god there really is no point in doing it this way]Amagi Brilliant Park - Didn't know it had anything to do with magic from just the synopsis but after a few episodes it was obvious that in order to enjoy this to its fullest I just had to sit back and take it for what KyoAni is actually used to doing from the likes of Chuunibyo: Slapstick to the extreme and I dunno, I think the more dramatic final episodes were pretty good. The last one was just a hoot though. 8/10

 

Gonna be the Twin-Tails!! - Never had so much fun with such a bizarre and well, stupid premise as this. My love of twintails myself may have elevated my enjoyment but it’s all in good fun. 9/10

 

Wolf Girl and Black Prince - Somewhat fresh, just don’t like how abusive Kyouya is at first and how pompous he stays. Wasn’t even expecting that biggest lie to become irrelevant halfway through though, so that’s neat. 6/10

 

Psycho-Pass 2 - I didn't totally not fall out of love here. Always worked as a thriller, but I just wasn't feeling the plot here. 5/10

 

Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer - CLAMP really outdone themselves with this, imo. Manga was nothing short of highly enjoyable anyway with a not completely original but still different take on a completely tournament arc story, but the ones behind the anime created some of the best adaption expansion I've ever seen. 9/10

 

Binbou Shimai Monogatari - Really sad at times, really awesome to know [spoiler=that]they can get by just fine on their own.[/spoiler]. Sure, that wouldn’t really spoil much, but eh. I do tend to be extremely cautious of these kinds of things although it’s probably pretty obvious. I really didn't say much for this one huh. 9/10[/spoiler]

 

Rosario to Vampire: Season II - What I just can’t believe is that all that time ago I was actually so obviously right, there was hardly any left to read when I came back to this and found out it was finished.So it was fairly cliche but it was still about half as enjoyable as way back when even though I’m not as into shounen action stuff anymore. 8/10[/spoiler]

 

And that’s as far back as my MAL history will take me. Sure, I could probably remember some more, but that is clearly enough right now.
