Astro Dude
Oookay. I used my Christmas Nintendo E-Card to get Pokemon Trading Card Game, Shantae and the Pirate's Curse and Fire Emblem. I can now see what the hub-bub was about. And I spent an entire day just getting to Chapter 20 and recruiting all characters and promoting them. I got hooked. Talk about a time eater. Hmmmm... Maybe I should play a game a day starting in the New Year. Monday: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. Tuesday, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Wednesday Grandma's, Thursday Mugen Souls Z, Friday Tales of Xillia, Saturday: Grandmas, Sunday, Fire Emblem Awakening. Holy cow, so much
Raine
Tales of Xillia 1 is my favorite tales. It has a cool story with like a half dozen game changing and well thought out twists. It starts a little slow but damn, the characters and the relationships are unlike any of the other tales games to me. They're more well thought out and the plot only gets deeper and cooler as you rack up play hours... and the sub-events are to die for so don't miss a single one. In fact, all I need is the trophy for completing Milla's story and I'll get the platinum trophy. But it has been a while sense. In Neptunia Victory I'm working on Peashy's Until you Cry and That Was Practice challenges. 3,000 Failed Escape attempts and 25,000 misses is not gonna be easy. When I do That Was Practice I can just run in place. The key is finding a monster that serves as a punching bag, dealing no damage yet hit or missing it. It also works if the character is at a diagonal slant, so she misses ore often. However since Peashy has practically double the STR stat of every other character, there will be chip damage, but over time it adds up. But I digress. Whom among us has lost hours of sleep and social life to trying to get all the units promoted?
DL
If you're interested in Fire Emblem, and have never played any of the previous ones, I also suggest checking out the GBA ones, Burning Blade and Sacred Stones. They're great stuff as well. Inb4rom Yeah, this Fire Emblem was definitely one of the best, I was hooked as soon as I started playing.
JessicaMuddy
I've beat Awakening about 5 times now with over 50 hours on 1 file... I haven't played this game enough. At least the DLC is amazing as well as the main game. It is just such a good game And Walhart is born on the same day as me :)

Though I did miss out on recruiting Nino. though I did get Wallace. Does this game have New Game +?

Does this game have New Game +? It has Lunatic Mode + for when you beat lunatic. Every enemy has priority moves, Counter and Sol/ Luna. LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
It has Lunatic Mode + for when you beat lunatic. Every enemy has priority moves, Counter and Sol/ Luna. (If I remember correctly) I think they were refering to Fire Emblem for the GBA with that one. If not, oops. If so. You do unlock the chance to play the Hector route, which has some different missions and is harder.
Shradow
You should play Ike's games. PoR is really good, and RD at least has good gameplay and is very challening without being bullshit like Awakening's Lunatic and + modes.
Astro Dude
Path of Radiance, That's for the Wii right? I'll give it a shot. I'm on Chapter 26 Eliwood story. My guess, I'll need both thieves, as many high speed units as possible and Torches.
Shradow
Path of Radiance is Gamecube, Radiant Dawn is Wii.
Maeriberii Haan
If you want some challenges, go with Genealogy of Holy War and Thracia 776 for SNES. Beautifully unbalanced games they are.
Astro Dude
I am new to Fire Emblem, even though Pokemon Conquest is similar so please go easy on me. I just reached Chapter 26x. Merlinus isn't here so gotta be careful. Lowen will be my go to guy since I promoted him at Lv. 20 and his stats will be exceptional, Rebecca, Hector, Lucius and soon Lyndis, if I can clear it without casualties. They say flyers are good but problem is they stink at taking and dishing out damage. So I don't use them often unless necessary. Pirates move in water, but not really by much. When a unit reaches it's max level, then I promote it. And question, when I beat Fire Emblem for the GBA, do I get a new game plus, with any characters I promoted still the same as they were and all the units and Items I obtained throughout the first playthrough? Also, I got the Lloyd map for Chapter 24 first time I played. For The Hector story Will I have to leave him out of battles in order to get the other?
