It's good you're thinking about coverage but other things you can look at is common Pokemon in that tier.

Sometimes you'll find you really only need one or two attacking types on certain Pokemon.

That's a fair point.

Ended up switching HP:F -> Psychic on Gengar, because Fighting Types are really annoying against my team.

YAY BATTLES.

You guys don't know how happy I am when battles occur. ^^;

Did...did...did I just...see...Dark Pulse Steelix?

These movesets are so damn heat I love it.

The Copycat screwed you over...Dark Pulse would've been better against everything...though wouldn't be priority so da fossil...That was crazy, gg Hyde

funk I gotta step up next week so Hyde doesn't get a better record.

second battle get - gg shadowliepard

Honestly that Burn really sucked man...But sheesh Kingdra.

I think Waterfall would've OHKOed Mienshao it's not that bulky at all.

But wow that was a scary match with all those set up sweepers O.o

Hyde: 3-0
Cowcow: 1-2
Spaz: 1-1
Azure: 1-1
shadowliepard: 0-2
Reptilious: 1-1

Yuhi and Harbinger need to get battles at all

Rep, liepard, Spaz, and Azure need one more.

Nearing the end of the 5th day.

Smear. I'm liking the attacking Coffin. But I do feel you might be a bit too specially offensive. You only got one thing that's physically offensive and it's not the greatest attacker.

And Spaz I assume he had nothing to hurt Mew perhaps? Not sure. But yeah Challenge Cup is silly cause you never know what the opponent has so giving up is dumb.

A couple playthroughs of a team I was testing. I specifically wanted to see if a Scarfed Gardevoir would work out at all, and it turns out it did OK in the first one :)

The second time it kinda failed, but the rest of the team pulled through to some extent

Favorite tier: RU

Favorite type: Ice or Fighting

I finally got around to submitting this because I made a team for the first time in months.

I know that isn't the greatest battle to judge, but anyone have some advice on the team? I pretty much threw it together, and tried to balance things out. I only had time for the one battle so even if it is against a noob, hopefully it's enough to get an impression. Sets are what you'd expect for the most part.

Blastoise = Physically Defensive

Registeel = Specially Defensive

Camerupt = Bulky but maxed SpA

Cofarigus = Mostly there to set-up for Camerupt, but built to do a lot of damage itself.

Smeargle = Awesome lead.

Hitmonlee = my revenge killer/physical sweeper

Welcome aboard Hakima!

It helped the guy you were playing was...bad XD

I've used Defensive Blastoise in UU before. I think the team looks pretty good from what little I could see....Trick Room and Sticky Web I'm very unsure of honestly. It worked here but...

And good work Azure and Button. ^^

Azure's main mistake was not going Water Pulse against Stunktank, even a switched in Rotom woulda went down at that HP.

Always have Explosion on Glalie. Might not have won but would've went down flashy XD

That was a good match though. ^^

Hyde: 3-0
Cowcow: 1-2
Spaz: 1-1
Azure: 1-2
shadowliepard: 0-2
Reptilious: 1-1
Yuhi: 1-0

Y'all have till after I finish work tomorrow to finish up for this week. Spaz and shadowliepard need one more. Yuhi needs two. Harbinger is MIA and needs 3.

Try to PM the people who need battles, guys. Even if they're not on right that moment.

Man, I suck at Pokemon XD

Never was very good at competitive battling, and this tournament was the first time in months...

It's alright you'll improve :3

The main problem was sacking Volcarona when he had a Skarmory really. Mamo managed to do it but at loss of a lot of HP. As well as setting up with a Breloom when they had Pinsir. My main advice? Pay attention to the rest of a person's team and plan accordingly.

This means that Yuhi needs two battles. Harbinger needs three. and Reptilous needs one.

Er. So Yuhi, try and battle Harbinger and Rep. And then someone can volunteer to battle Harbinger for their last one, with the knowledge their score won't change but Harbinger's will.

Alternatively if Harbinger battles Yuhi and Rep, then volunteers can take both Harbinger and Yuhi's final match.

Otherwise the next week those people will have extra matches they need to do. Which is fine but not preferable.

Not like you can influence that sorta thing in Battle Factory D:

When are Harbinger and Rep online?

I was telling Battle Factory to step it's game up. XD

Also

I hereby decree...Week One is FINISHED

Hyde: 3-0

Cowcow: 1-2

Spaz: 2-1

Azure: 1-2

shadowliepard: 0-3

Reptilious: 1-1

Yuhi: 1-0

Going into the next week

Yuhi's battles needed is up to 5

Rep's is up to 4

And Harbinger needs 6

Let's try and do better this week everyone. ^^
