Also if you could vote between Random and Battle Factory that'd be great.I gotta get those who voted but didn't send points to send points, then make sure of which we'll be doing.Looks like Battle Factory, but if Liepard here prefers Random I can ask those who voted either to chose one or the other.Soon we can start guys! LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I'm starting to feel a little downtrodden atm. There's several people who I don't know if they're joining, but they voted, and some I know were meaning to send in the points, but they haven't. I'm starting to wonder if I should just drop this one for now.

LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I think you should. It seemed pretty fast after that last one. It was supposed to be because of the new year, new ranking, and one year of the Club being around :(

LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Alright nerds here's the plan. The 14th we will start no matter if we have 10 or not. 8 is the norm anyway and it's enough, since it means we can face everyone but one twice. But still gonna see if we can get a couple more in. Mr Dr Professor Spaz
I can play "conventional" metagames too.http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-316202995 Breloom Sweep (Yes, I played 4 Monotype Battles and ended up being paired against 4 Mono Ground teams, is that bad?) EDIT:Finally decided to build a team for the Gods and Followers OMotM. Didn't even have to send out my "God". Hail Satan Vivillon

Yemachu
So while waiting on that. I was wondering, anyone notice they have a particular style of team building or battling? Or certain things you avoid/are drawn to?When multiple moves of the same type on a Pokémon can be considered for a moveslot, I tend to choose for those with the highest accuracy. They might be less powerful than the alternatives, but a powerful move is useless if it does not connect; something which they do way to often for my liking. Moves that recover the user's HP when they deal damage are also quite cool in my opinion (somewhat implying a dislike for recoil-moves, which is not far from the truth). Regarding the split between Physical/Special moves, I like Special oriented Pokémon more. Their damage output is not hampered while they are burnt, Intimidate is pointless on them, and take less damage from confusion (and "Foul Play"). As for battle-style, I have a tendency to overpredict the opponent's actions... or at least wrong. This often results in me being reluctant to send out a specific Pokémon which would have taken little to no damage from a certain move (i.e. not sending out Togekiss against "Earthquake" in fear of "Rock Slide" ). I'm actually the other way around, I am a pretty risky player with moves. I go big or go home in other words XD My main flaw is that I overthink and second guess my instincts. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/uu-316763303 Well this certainly went well ^_^Who stays in on Alo with a Physical attacking Ground type? That guy was bad XD Also looking into the past... The game can easily devolve into ''counter the opponent Uber or die', which seriously wrecks team designs as we need to check Uber threats using the limited resources of OU or below. Game can easily be decided from team preview, as failing to counter an opposing Uber threat can easily means game. Granted, I might be exaggerating this a bit, but you should get what I'm concerned with. EDIT: Also, seriously. What makes Mega-Gengar powerful and scary (even almost made it kicked from freaking ubers, before MRay is a thing) is its ability to trap and kill anything and perform a shitton of jobs well, given the right set. Basically, you make a team, and slap a MGengar to it to deal with anything your team is weak to. Coupled with ridiculous speed and SpA, that is what makes it threatening.Hey Nai what do you think of Showdown's OM of the month? XD
