Bringerofcake
You can only use the effect of “Sinister Serpent” once per turn. (1) During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard: Add this card to your hand. During your opponent’s next End Phase, banish 1 “Sinister Serpent” from your Graveyard. Maeriberii Haan
Eh, so it's pretty much a one-time fodder recur, unless we get other copies free from the list. Not sure on this one, but looks tame enough.
Azuh
Its way too tame I think. Ruined the fun

CLG Klavier
One time only now...wonder if it will go to higher than 1 now. If yes, it might be a thing, otherwise...eh.
Delibirb
I don't think the point is to make them a thing, it's just to make the list smaller and repair the mistakes of the past
Slinky
Guys. Just don't discard it, and you'll avoid the second effect. This way you can keep reusing it every other turn
evilfusion
I called it that they'd make a hard OPT clause. But that secondary aspect, of banishing a Sinister Serpent during your opponent's End Phase is actually kind of stupid, even though I get why they did it. Agro
It's still too easily played around. Just keep it out of the graveyard the turn after you add it back. What is this going to, 3?
Goose
Extra discard fodder every 2 turns doesn't seem worth it
Spinny
Depends if the water shaddoll is absolutely crazy enough to warrant running this.
Blake
I don't think the point is to make them a thing, it's just to make the list smaller and repair the mistakes of the past Which is stupid because they're completely changing iconic cards for no reason instead of just printing new ones. The only one that makes even a little sense to do this with is CCV, because eventual Critias.
evilfusion
Some of the erratas are totally fine as balancing factors. It's more an issue when they utterly alter how a card works. Such as Crush Card, although even that's not too bad, and more just weird. And I don't think this needed both a hard OPT clause and the banishing thing. I'm of the same opinion that errata is generally fine in theory. Nostalgic players who still want to follow the current banlist get to enjoy their old favourites. Nostalgic players who didn't care about the banlist before are likely to ignore the errata anyway. People who play competitively can view it as any other card release - ignore if nerfed hard enough, otherwise use it. New players might start to see a less intimidating banlist (if the nerfed-enough cards are eventually moved to unlimited). I see very few people who they're bad for, overall. When the core of how a card works is changed, however, that first group of people who follow the current TCG rules but like old cards gets unhappy, and that's where there can be an issue. SANDAA BORUTO
I never believed the original was ban worthy. Now it's just plain useless. To 3.
Miror B
The whole problem with changing how a card has worked for years and years now is older copies are generally still floating around and might confused the shit outta newer players.
