In the year 2400...

A war struck out for many months on end between two mentors, Ron Yim and Jun Kotomi whilst planet Earth was still living on, with all their lands intact. There was bloodlust, hate, sweat, tears and despair... Utter despair. And now, the lands have gone to ashes, and only a third of the Earth remained. From the one billion people that fought their war for Ron and Jun, 500 million per mentor... Only 200 thousand remained, and are now wanderers, estranged from their mentors.

It's now your job to hire them, train them and help them make a living...

Meanwhile...

"Look at all these people... All estranged and nowhere to go to. They're looking for leaders to work for, I'm guessing..." Ron said, looking at the view from atop the mountain. "There's me, a pure-blooded cyborg, and there's Jun, a computer-spaced cyborg... Those two beings aren't that much different..." Ron leaves the scene straight after, holding the weapons of the original Yim Empire members before they left them behind, the Glass Excalibur's Light&Dark and his own Quo Vadis, which he had no intention of leaving behind, but he held anyway.

A few days later, in his house, he finds two new people, Arthur Styrne and Moderatus la Fey. He approaches them and says: "You must be my new mentees... Nice to meet you, I'm Ron. I used to be human like you guys, so don't be deceived. I may look 20 in your eyes, but I'm actually well over 400 years old. I've stopped aging since 2043, 357 years ago. The bastards from back then butchered me to no end, see my right hand? They cut it up and replaced my flesh with metal titanium and my left leg there, that was amputated whilst I was drugged the very same day. The day after those happened, I had my heart ripped out, hence why I have my LED core, this keeps me immortal however I do still have scars, will get them, and will send myself to coma just like every other human.... I just won't die easily. That's all." He explains his past like someone else was actually behind his butchering.

In Jun Kotomi's side however, He was still sleeping inside a broken computer screen and when he got up, he realised he haven't got any mentees to teach yet. He muttered the word: "Humbug" Though random, he still managed to get himself up no problem. He walked around the scrapyard, kicking every bit of scrap as he walked past until he kicked his rival's scrap titanium that fell out of his torso during his war days. "So, can anyone explain to me why this shit is still there?" he said, on his own without any other company.

This introduces two sides to our long running battle, and now our potential players must hire wandering remnants to become, their very own troops.

"Mr. Styrne, Mr. La Fey, as your mentor, I am responsible for your every move. If you fluke one thing up, I'm in trouble. So to start things off, I'll give you both 5,000 troops. They'll be waiting for you outside." Ron explains, as he leads the two outside to meet their troops. "From now on, I can only tell you what's right and what's wrong... And advise you at the very best." He said, as the two begin their long journey.

"Anything that bleeds will die eventually.", Arthur said under his breath, already scanning his surroundings. "Nice to meet you both.", he uttered, finally breaking his concentration to focus on the two men he saw before him. He walked to the door with them, pondering on what kind of person each one was. "So, five thousand troops? Each?", he continued, raising an eyebrow. "It seems to be a lot of troops to just give someone in one go. I'm not refusing them, of course...just wondering why you wouldn't just use them to defend your lands." He walked out of the door with the two men, silencing himself before he lost any chance of getting the troops. "This advice of yours better be good. The troops better be trained well, too.", he replied, waiting until Ron had finished speaking before breaking his silence. "Never mind. I'll soon find out anyway, and either I'll be too dead to care or secure in the belief that these troops are well-trained.", he thought, being contemplative about different strategies he could use with these types of troops.

"The man has a point," Moderatus began as he spoke to his new mentor, an expression of surprise on his face.  "It does seem odd to simply give us so many of your forces.  Not that I am complaining, I simply thought you would have us gather forces on our own."  It really didn't make sense to the young knight, giving the two of them soldiers right of the bat.  Five Legions worth no less!  Still, it was a boon that the young man had no intention of wasting.  Of course he would have to get used to commanding such a large group, but he felt it would be good practice for the day when he united the world around him.  He took the time to wait for his mentor to respond, if he was going to, and then made his way outside to inspect his new forces.  No doubt his current companions would be surprised to head about it.  For now, though, he fell in stride alongside Arthur.

"Quite a feeling, isn't it?  Getting ready to set out like this?"  He laughed aloud, and clapped the archer on the back with his right hand.  His shield was still fastened to his left arm, but he kept his blade sheathed for the time being.  "Say, how about the two of us join forces?  We'd still need to train our soldiers, I can't imagine Ron gave us veteran troops, but it would be made quicker if we could pit them against each other in mock battles.  What do you say?"  He wasn't sure how he expected the other man to react to his offer, but it stood all the same.  He felt the idea made enough sense that it was likely to be accepted, but one could never tell with a ranger.

Ron looked back at his two students and then thought for a while. He turned to them and said: "You should be relieved then, all of your troops are well trained. They have worked for me in the past as well until three days ago. They became estranged, so I assigned them to you now. Oh, and also... Why I had 5,000 troops to give you, is because I can afford them. Some of them are even friends of mine." before giving them their first bounty. It said: "There is an estranged bishop hanging around the outskirts of a small town. So far that bishop killed 28 innocent people. Neutralise it at once!" "First army to kill the estranged bishop receives 700 Gold, you can use that money to buy your army provisions or loan another troop member to add to your army. You two should realise by now... I can only let you loan a troop member for a certain amount of days, unless you wish to replace the fallen, then I will think of something else." he said, then the phone behind him rings. Ron picks it up and said: "Hello, who is this?" "Long time no see, you little shit!" said the voice on the phone. That happened to be Jun Kotomi. "Jun, what do you need from me? I know you don't have students to work with, but if you are planning on stealing mine, then don't even bother speaking to me" Ron retaliated at the phone, awaiting Jun's response. "Urm, no... Not that. I'm simply gonna tell you the second bounty. Something came up and I want someone to neutralise it. I don't care who." Jun responded, desperate to tell Ron who to kill. "Alright then, tell me what it is. I'll neutralise the bounty on my own if need be." he said, preparing to choose his weapon, before being stopped by Jun's voice. "The bounty is to remove the foreigner from this land. I believe it's a demon" Jun said, finishing his sentence. "A demon loose in apocalyptic Earth? That's to be expected. I'll get it wiped out by someone. So then, goodbye." Ron said, hanging up on Jun before he gets the chance to finish what he had to say.

"Excuse me men, but I have my own job to do. Good luck in your journey, and if you need any advice or help at all, just gimme a call. I'll get there as soon as possible." Ron explained, as he left his house to search for the target Jun said in the second bounty. Eventually, he will have to ask Arthur or Moderatus to wipe out the second bounty for him. but who might it be?

"I hope the second bounty gets fulfilled. The little shit hung up on me again, what the hell's his problem?" Jun shouted in rant, as he locks his phone and shoves it in his pocket. "Eventually, I will get what I ask for, but who knows? It's probably be over before anyone knows it. 100 thousand troops in my area, waiting to be hired. Now, it can't be that hard now, is it?" Jun asks himself in question, whilst looking at some of the estranged remnants waiting to be hired by someone.

"I suppose it is.", he said, taking in the sight of the soldiers, all formed up. "I suppose we could join up for now, but I think our mentor would have something in mind for us. For now, one cannot have too much training, so I accept.", he replied, continuing after Moderatus finished talking. Turning to Ron, he uttered, "Hmph. Well, I guess we'll know in time if they're trained or not, but for now I'll take your word for it." Already forming a strategy to put into place with the current number of troops, he remained deep in his thoughts until Ron spoke. Breaking his silence, he said, "A bishop? Shouldn't be all that hard. Do we get a precise location?" Returning to his thoughts, he chose to listen intently to his surroundings rather than initiate another conversation.  "I'll work with Moderatus for now but I'm not sure it'll last long.", he thought, furrowing his eyebrows. "I don't suppose you have a training area set up somewhere? Or perhaps we have to find our own.", he asked, turning to Ron.

"The outskirts of a small town is all they gave me. You will have to rely on your technology to track the bastard down." Ron said before he took flight, but not before he said: "The training area, eh? Back garden should work, all the weeds have been cropped and all the training dummies are prepared. Don't use them all up in one go though, I don't have many. If you do however use them all up, then you'll be paying for new ones... Unless of course I buy them on my way back." setting off with his Quo Vadis weapon turning into wings. "Perhaps on my way down, I should  simplify my weapon's design... I know just the person to do it." Ron thought, as he tries to search for the second bounty for his mentees to neutralise. Ron stumbles across Jun Kotomi, realising he had no students yet. They didn't talk, they just simply walked past each other.

Ron stops by the marketplace and into the blacksmith, then he takes out an apron from behind the counter and begins working on his weapon, simplifying his design to make it more futuristic. However, he experienced a small problem. "This would take hours, I'll never be able to get the bounty done in time. Oh well, I'll just take a break here, then come back." he said before taking off to carry on looking for the foreigner Jun told him in the bounty, only to realise the bounty victim was just outside the blacksmith workshop. "Right, okay. Second bounty confirmed. I didn't even need to move." he said, before going back in to finish the job.

Back inside Ron's house, the two students were getting prepared to train their own troops. Needless to say, the setup is already complete and the computers are also being prepared just for the occasion, with finishing touches to be done when the students commence training.

On Jun Kotomi's side, when he stumbled across Ron a few minutes ago, he thought: "I'm such an idiot. I never even told Ron the full details. He's busy now anyway, so that will have to wait..." before he too saw the second bounty target. "Now's my chance! Stop there, foreigner!" he shouted, trying to pick a fight with the foreigner. However, what he doesn't know is that cyborgs aren't really supposed to mess with demons without actual training, which Jun hasn't done for three years. Some people may wander why he's the opposing mentor, however Jun still knows all about the battlefield, believe it or not. The foreigner didn't respond, instead he finds a gap and just escapes. "Son of a bitch. I'll get him next time!" Jun thought, feeling unsure about whether or not the target is captured on time.

"Well, if that's all we have to go on, I guess we'll have to start searching as soon as possible. Training can wait until we find this bishop.", he said, continuing, "I might set up an archery range when I get back. Moderatus, if you're coming, let's go and find him before he kills anyone else." He started walking towards the nearest village with an average pace, deliberately slowing down to see if Moderatus would catch up to him. He took the chance to take in the sights before the village, making sure to notice every exit before continuing to a ledge just outside the village, waiting for the bishop to reveal himself or to gather enough information to move on. "This bishop is quite the killer. Would have been a good soldier if he wasn't so bloodthirsty.", he thought, gazing over the village and waiting for Moderatus or nightfall, whichever came first.

"Sounds like as good a plan as any," Moderatus began as he set on walking alongside the man who would be his partner for a time.  "Besides, we could bring our troops along as well.  Some of them anyways.  I hardly expect this Bishop to be alone."  He grimaced at the idea of a holy man killing so many people, wondering what could have driven such a person to do so.  On their way out, he paused for a moment to inspect the forces he had been given, nodding to himself as he looked over the five thousand encamped men and women waiting for orders.  "They don't look like much, but neither did I once upon a time."  Instead of taking the time to offer a big, rousing speech to get them fired up for battle, he took his leave of the ranger and made his way through the camp.  Here and there he paused to gather a few of them, none of those with him from among the warriors he had brought with him when he went to meet Ron.  Though he did meet with them for a moment.  They were given orders to begin drilling his new forces, putting them through their paces and getting them ready for battle.  Aside from that, the forty warriors he had amassed on his own were told to divide the soldiers evenly between the lot of them into equal units so that they could operate more fluidly on the battlefield.  His warriors would end up taking command of one hundred and twenty two of the troops he had been given, while he took from the force a grand total of one hundred and twenty men and women that were ready for combat as he came through.  While this slowed him down a bit, it did not take him long to catch up to the ranger that had gone ahead.  "Any signs of where our prey might be?"

Just after Moderatus has finished his preparations, One of the character's phones began ringing. Assuming it would be either of them picking up, it would have been Ron regardless. "Hello, Arthur, or Moderatus? I have some new information for you, I have just seen the estranged bishop in the marketplace killing off innocent people! Right outside my regular blacksmith! So far I can count 200 casualties, and it's only been three hours since I've given the bounty to you. It is likely that you'll need my assistance, so I'll get my job done as soon as possible! Just for your information, the bishop is carrying a guillotine blade. Yes, literally part of a guillotine used to sever people's heads." Ron uttered over the phone, as he updates his students with new information. As much as he was reluctant to do so, he also picks up his phone and asks for Jun's assistance, giving updates. "A bishop on the loose in a public place? Guess I can't turn you down then. I'll keep you updated" Jun said over the phone as he begins work. "This can't be good, the next thing we know, the bishop's gonna come ramming into my blacksmith, or the weapons shop no less!" Ron thought to himself, only managing to finish redesigning his weapon and reforging it with his old design so they switch from time to time.

"So, the poor bastard needs my help... I'd better get started." says Jun, starting up his computer preparing to give updates to Ron every twenty minutes. I wonder if I can get anything out of this... I doubt it, but it's definitely worth working for." Jun thought to himself, doubting himself about volunteering in assisting Ron.

Eventually, war between two mentors will break out again, after Jun gets at least a student to help him out. It won't be long now I'm sure, time is certainly ticking. "The civilians are running around like headless chickens, demanding for their lives. When is this bishop gonna stop?" Ron says, preparing to give chase. He takes out his weapon and keeps a sharp eye on the estranged bishop, who so far had killed another 12 civilians since his new update to his students, counting casualties up to 212 civilians killed by a single estranged bishop carrying a guillotine blade.

"This bishop of yours likes to make an entrance, huh?", he said, putting the phone down. "Well, looks like we have our target. I'll move to a better position and fire from there. Keep him distracted, or just kill him if you want, I want to see how you fight.", he said to Moderatus, standing up from his crouching position. He started calculating which position would be best for him to use to get the best shot at killing the bishop. A few minutes later he started moving west to be in direct view of the marketplace. "I've never seen one man cause so much bloodshed.", he thought, throwing five arrows into the ground. He pulled his bow from the holster and grabbed an arrow from the ground, nocking it immediately. He decided to give Moderatus a chance, waiting patiently with his eyes on the fight at hand.

"Right, you do that.  My forces and I will surround the market place, make sure he can't get out.  He's just killing civilians anyways, I doubt he'll be able to handle trained soldiers."  He said in response to Arthur's suggestion that he would be moving ahead to find a better position to attack the Bishop.  Immediately thereafter, he began moving into the town and commanded his soldiers to follow him with a gesture.  They hustled through the crowds, shouldering their way through the fleeing people until they ultimately broke through to the now mostly deserted marketplace.  A few quick orders, and the soldiers moved about to form a perimeter around the place to hopefully prevent the Bishop's escape if he should try to flee.  Moderatus on the other hand moved into the marketplace, drawing that black sword of his as he strode forward with his shield held ready to defend if he was attacked.

"Bishop!  Come out and face me!"  He cried out in a loud voice, bringing his sword up high into the air above his head as if in a challenge.  With any luck, his foe would come rushing out at him and Arthur would be able to put an arrow into his eye for it.

Aware that the bishop couldn't escape almost, Ron put his weapon behind his back, in flat form. "Engage." His weapon commences Ron's command with ease, letting out dragoon particles into the air, then silently hovers around the now stranded bishop. Fortunately, the bishop wasn't able to respond until the last second, when it saw one of Ron's dragoon particle, severing its communication. The bishop then throws his guillotine blade directly at Ron's arm, grazing his shoulder. Ron shows up from outside the blacksmith with his grazed arm. Though no blood was coming out of it, titanium was sticking out, showing the extent of his trauma. "Now you see, you little shit. This shows you not to mess with a cyborg, stand down now, or be killed." Ron ordered the bishop, though he knows the bishop is going to be killed by one of his students regardless of what he was about to do. "Arthur, Moderatus, I know you're there somewhere... Seize the bastard." Ron shouted, he then turned back to where one of his dragoon particles have been severed, he picked it up, and placed it in his pocket. "I guess this needs repairing. I can do that when I get home." he said, picking up his phone and ringing Jun straight after. "I've seized the asshole. You can rest up now." Ron said on the phone. "Thank god for that. Oh wait, no. I'm getting that dick!" Jun retaliated.

"No, you stay there. He's mine for the killing. You wouldn't even make it back in a second, even if was still alive. He'll be dead before then, so don't even bother. Bye now." Ron said, hanging up on Jun. "The little shit thinks he's boss, eh? He's 400 freaking years old!" Jun thought in rage, but calms down after he realises he had lost the bounty. "Okay, Arthur, Moderatus, after you seize the little shit, I've got another bounty for you back at home. I'll see you there." Ron said to his students. Assuming that the bishop was already seized, he heads back home on foot.

Ron could have had an alternative way of getting back home, which is flying. However, his communications have been severed so his weapon would no longer function until it was fixed. "Thanks to that bishop, I almost lost an arm, and I almost lost that weapon for good. Thank god it was only a graze. If it was my throat, that bastard would've had me already." Ron thought as he was walking home. "I guess, new day, different assignment... I hope this isn't as dangerous as this estranged bishop. If he didn't have that record, I would've had him as a soldier." Ron takes out his severed particle that came with his weapon and thought: "If this breaks any more, then my weapon would be as good as dead." before placing it back into his pocket, waiting for Arthur and Moderatus to catch on.

Squinting, Arthur had a full view of the Bishop's antics from his position. Drawing the string back, he waited until he had a better shot. Breathing in and out slowly, he fired the arrow, aiming at the Bishop's neck, with it hitting his stomach. Picking up the phone, he said, "That should have taken him down a notch." Nocking another arrow, he aimed for the blade, firing after the first hit, somewhat inaccurately this time, hitting the floor. He picked up the other arrows, cursed his aim, then put them into the quiver and started moving towards the rapidly expanding crowd that had appeared to watch the fight. Picking up the phone again, he said, "He's all yours. He won't be wielding that blade very well for a while. Finish him off. Be careful though, that arrow hit him like a brick, so he'll be quite agitated, I'd imagine." He got to the crowd and started climbing a building closer to the fight to be able to see it and cover for Moderatus should he mistime a swing.

With the bishop currently pinned down, Arthur and Moderatus are left to do their job. The bishop struggles to reclaim the guillotine blade, but it was no use. The bishop now discovers, he was going to be killed anyway. Back home, Ron prepares another bounty for his students to take care of, though not as dangerous, it would be the annoying one no one would care to do. He shoves it from his pocket and places it on the dining table, leaving it there. He then heads for his office, takes out his glasses and starts working. Who would've realised he wore glasses? Definitely not me.

"This already packs in so much work. I have several thousand troops standing by, I don't even know who to nit pick next..." Ron thought, when he takes out all the files he uses to prepare his bounty. Fair to say, Jun told him the bounty very early on, but no reward can be seen as of yet. "This is gonna be another long day, I'll wait until Arthur and Moderatus comes back..." he said, waiting.

The young man in armor sighed as he approached the Bishop, who it seemed was preparing to fight him like a cornered animal.  Unfortunately the man was unable to find his weapon.  A shot from his temporary ally wounded the target, but the other shot went wild as Arthur tried to keep him from retrieving his blade.  Moderatus simply sat back and waited for his foe to retrieve that weapon of his, not exactly the type to enjoy fighting an unarmed opponent.  The bishop, wounded though he was, managed to retrieve his Guillotine blade just as Arthur took up a new position.  When the mad man charged the knight, he was ready.  The wild swing from that weapon was knocked aside by his shield, the sound ringing out through the town as the last moments of this estranged holy man played out for all to see.  The black blade Moderatus wielded was brought about in a swift arc, and the Bishop's head was cleanly separated from his body.  A few spurts of blood came from the man's severed neck as the decapitated body fell over, the knight stopping to clean his blade on the bishop's clothing before sheathing it and picking up that head by its hair.  He didn't have much to say, he just whistled sharply and his soldiers closed in around him.  A nod was made in Arthur's direction, and he began making his way back to where they could meet Ron and turn in the bounty.

Climbing down from the building, he walked over to the now limp body of the Bishop. Retrieving his arrow from the holy man's stomach, he walked over to his second arrow and picked that one up as well. He sat down and cleaned the arrows, then walked into the blacksmith and sharpened all of his arrows, putting them back into his quiver once he was finished. He also put his bow back into the holster. Walking back over to the body of the Bishop, he grabbed the guillotine blade, placing it in front of the blacksmith and telling him to melt it up and use it for something useful. He ran to catch up with Moderatus, weaving and turning through his troops like the wind. Reaching Moderatus, he said, "Nice work, it was a clean cut. In hindsight I could have gotten closer and actually hit the target where I wanted to, but at least it hit him."

"Hopefully that'll keep the village safe for a while. What on earth would cause a holy man to go on a killing spree?", he said, matching Moderatus pace for pace. "We shouldn't be too far off from where Ron lives now, I think I'm going to train a little when I get back.", he uttered, taking out an arrow and spinning it around with his fingers."Because there's no way that's happening again.", he thought, sighing with disappointment in himself. Breaking the silence, he said, "I wonder what he'll have us do next. If this one is anything to go by the others shouldn't be all that difficult."

When Moderatus and Arthur returns home, Ron takes a look around, thinks for a while and says: "You've done quite the job, boys. Now, since you guys did the bounty evenly, I will reward you 350 Gold each, split up from the 700 Gold being rewarded in the Bounty. Now, here's your second one." before giving the second bounty to his students. This one says: "There is a foreigner in this post apocalyptic Earth, a demon apparently. Seize this being and remove him from the country. No specifics have been given yet." When Ron looked back at the bounty, he thought again for a while, then says: "Ahh, this one's annoying. There's no location listed. You'll have to rely on your guts this time. No technology can track him down. I saw him outside of my blacksmith when we were doing our first bounty, so this should be an advantage. However, it's starting to close in. He's running amok as we speak, trying to escape the law."

When Jun finishes his job, he also goes back home. Empty handed. "I lost the bounty, so what... I'll just have to see what he can do in the next one. This is exciting..." he said, clasping his hands together and placing them behind his head. "It's also gonna be an interesting one, if you ask me..." he continued.

"Okay, men. Looks like you'll need my assistance on that one. Since you can't track him down, I'll have to help you from the sky. Be on guard, though. That bastard is gonna go and rip us to bits and shit if we're not careful..." Ron said, explaining the details of the next bounty to his students. "My eyesight isn't exactly great either, so communication between mentor and student is needed. I'll prepare myself now." he continued, preparing to go for the next bounty.

When Ron prepares himself for his next bounty, it is only a matter of time before Moderatus and Arthur follows on. Ron finishes his preparations, and activates his suit, causing his weapon to transform and expand to wings, with dragoon particles intact. "I've spent good time fixing that. Now, Go when you're ready, I'll be above the sky." Ron tells his students, as he set off to find the foreigner who, really shouldn't be around this place. "This is perfect right now. Let's go find the bastard!" he shouted from above, though no one could quite hear him.

Taking the gold, he sat down on a nearby chair and stretched. "I suppose I was wrong about the next one being easy. We just went from taking down a holy man in CLOTH to having to take down a demon? You know, the fiery death kind?!", he said, raising his voice word by word. He stood up, sighing heavily. He walked out of the building and walked over to the training area, setting up the dummies at various ranges to practice his aim. Taking out his bow, he also took an arrow from his quiver. He nocked it immediately, focusing on the closest one at five feet. Firing, he hit the target square in the middle, directly where he had aimed. The second one at ten feet was the same. The third at fifteen feet hit just short of the middle, and the fourth at twenty feet  hit the same position. He continued doing this until he hit one hundred feet, aiming properly and with full concentration this time, hitting the target at its intended position. He sighed, gathering all of his arrows back up and putting them into the quiver. He set the dummies up in a circular position, then began training with the blades on his bow, making light attacks and then hitting harder each time after the first five cycles. After he had finished, he walked away from the dummies and sat on the floor by the fences in the back garden.

With Ron, still hovering up the sky, he glides to the back garden where Arthur is and asks him: "Are you ready for the second bounty? I'll just summarise it, since you got pretty much most of it already..." Then he continues. He said: "Basically, we got to find that demon and detain the bastard, then throw the little shit out of our country." whilst he still glides from above Arthur. Assuming that the two students, Arthur and Moderatus are ready to set off, Ron sets off to find the bounty target and detain him. Just as Ron had left, the bounty target could be seen from outside the back garden. The apparent demon sneaks off behind Arthur, in order to hide himself from the law, though that might not last long.

On the other side however, Jun does his job trying to track down the detainee. However, this goes without luck. "So, this demon's quite the fast one, eh? Hurry up, Ron... Those bounties aren't gonna keep waiting forever, y'know?" he moaned, whilst fiddling around with his computer waiting for his signal to move.

We probably doubt any of that would happen soon. Both Ron and Jun, who were they to try and catch a demon, with lightning speed and stealth? It was definitely worth a try, if you try asking me.

Meanwhile, Ron flies to the marketplace and searches for the demon in his bounty. What he doesn't know is the demon was outside his back garden not long ago. "This is annoying, he's a fast one, that guy. If it was me now, and I was trying to escape the law... I'd be arrested right off the bat. But that dickhead keeps running." Ron complained, as he searched all around the marketplace. "I dunno, but it may seem a bit much for someone who only relies on gut instinct... Surely there must be another way." he said, as he stopped by his regular blacksmith to check on his weapon functions. Chances are his weapon might have been damaged whilst fighting a bloodthirsty bishop, no one would blame him. After Ron checks his weapon functions, he grabs a set of stitches and sews his arm up, that being caused by the grazing from earlier. "The guillotine blade did itch slightly. Ah well, might as well stitch it up, I don't want opposing metals blowing inside my arm now..." he said, stitching his arm up then leaving the area.

On his way back to meet up with Ron, Moderatus dismissed the soldiers he had brought along to get some food and rest in camp.  A quick overview of the whole of his forces showed that things had gone relatively smoothly in their organization into units.  The troops were getting along well enough with one another, and morale was high.  It also seemed that a few of those he'd brought with him had seen the fight with the bishop and were already in the process of spreading the story.  He had a feeling things would get blown out of proportion among the five thousand, but he decided not to bother worrying about that.  For now, there were bigger issues.

He arrived just in time to catch the new bounty as it was handed out, and didn't exactly have the most joyous reaction to the details of it.  "A demon?  Really, you're just going to escalate things from fighting a berserk holy man to fighting a beast torn from the bowels of hell?  Arthur and I might be ready for this, but I doubt the men are.  I have no intention of letting them be slaughtered in some foolish errand."  Was there any surprise that he was taken aback?  There certainly should not have been, but it seemed that whatever the case Ron was going to ignore their protest and head about in search of the beast.  That was fine for the young knight, the old man could go off and put himself in unnecessary danger if he wanted.  In the mean time, Moderatus went off to oversee the last bit of training for his men that evening.

It was some time until the final drills had ended, and Moderatus left camp to go and check on his comrade in arms.  The heavy sound of armored footsteps could be heard making their way into the back garden, heralding his approach as he came upon Arthur after the ranger had finished with his practice.  "You don't seem to be interested in spending much time with your troops.  Might be a good idea to do so."

"Hmm. Good point.", he said, walking past Moderatus. Walking over to the camp his troops had set up, he walked around them in silence, quietly observing how they fought and who to avoid for the time being. He walked around, making three from each group officers, choosing from those he had judged to be the best. Gathering the fifteen officers, he told them to split the groups up into small legions, splitting them equally across every one. He told them to choose two hundred from each different kind of troop to make a legion and to continue doing that until everyone was organised. After this was done,he told them to start training vigorously each day for five hours, continuously honing their skills.

After everything was organised, he gathered them all around the centre of the camp, saying, "Now, I know some of you don't like these changes. But, in order for us to work together we need to have variety in every group. You need to be flexible groups that are versatile and fight to the last man. My chosen officers and I will assist you with this so that in time we will be able to fight as one." Stepping out of the centre, he left them all to sleep while he paced around, wondering how he would be able to take down a demon efficiently and without cost to the troops.

After stitching his arm up, tightening it up and cutting the thread, Ron went outside the blacksmith and saw the demon, who was in his back garden an hour ago. "Hey buddy... Don't remember seeing you here. Now, let's look at that bounty...." he taunted, looking at the demon, then back at his bounty. Though the demonic appearance was apparent, it became true, whatever the bounty said. "I knew it, the bounty was right about this being a demon... Never mind a foreigner... Now to remove this thing from the country..." Ron said, but the demon was nothing more than aggravated, then it resorted to violence, grabbing a knife from behind it and although it just won't speak, it went berserk and threw it directly at Ron's left leg, slicing it off, clean. Ron felt a slight sting afterwards, but flew up to prevent any more pain getting into him, then the demon escaped. "How that knife sliced my prosthetic leg is out of my world right now.. It's heading for my house, the little shit. I'll show him who's boss..." he said, picking up his leg and flew off, chasing the demon back to his house.

"My, my... Look at him. He's flying with just one leg. Look at you, you can't last that long at this rate. What are you, a low level prick?" Jun taunted at the screen, tracking down Ron and the demon's every move. "Look, demon. You can't escape the law. And most of all, you definitely won't escape Ron after this. He's a cyborg after all..." he continued looking at both screens showing Ron and the bounty target separately.

Back in Ron's side, he had only just arrived home. When Ron got inside, he approached his students, showing off his sliced off left leg, with wires and bolts sticking out and then says: "He's as dangerous as you thought he would be. Don't worry though, that bastard was just aggravated because he's being chased right now. This would be our chance to seize him and throw him out of our country. But... Let's not be so rash. Just subdue the guy and bring him to the police station, alive. If he's dead, the reward will be withdrawn." leaving his leg to one side, and flies to the roof. When he arrived, he thoroughly checks through to see if there was any damages. "Bolts are busted. I need a new leg installed. The wires are still unharmed though, that's a shame." he said, confirming damages to his leg. Afterwards, the demon shows up outside Ron's house. "Come and get me, pricks. You really wanna detain me?" it taunted, though that would only make detaining him a bit more easier for Ron, Arthur and Moderatus. The demon runs to the back garden and goes around in circles in an attempt to confuse the men.

"Well, taunting me isn't going to work for a start.", he said, crossing his arms and observing the demon. Taking his eyes off of the demon before he started to get dizzy, he turned his back on the demon and began to walk away. "Let's see how good he really is.", he thought, grinning. Once he turned a corner, he drew out his bow and pulled an arrow from his quiver. Nocking the arrow, he sighed, drawing the string slightly. He quickly turned the corner again and drew the bow to its entirety, firing at the demon and turning the corner as quickly as he fired. "Not so good now, are you?", he shouted at the demon, laughing. He looked around the corner quickly and saw the demon pulling at the arrow, which had lodged itself firmly in the upper part of his foot. He laughed even harder, taking out two more arrows and nocking both. He turned the corner, drew and fired, then turned the corner again. "Little help here guys?! You can't possibly expect me to take a demon out on my own!", he shouted, still laughing. Putting his bow back in the holster, he turned the corner. The demon was now trying to pull all three arrows from his feet, two on the left and one on the right. He laughed even harder, dodging the fire sent his way with ease. "Are you finished?!", he shouted, dodging another fireball.

The demon kept running round in circles, although it did try to confuse the men, it didn't quite work, judging from the actions in Arthur's perspective. "Arthur, don't kill it, remember what I said about the reward in the bounty? If you kill it, it's withdrawn and we get nothing!" Ron reminds his student, then he focuses on trying to distract the demon. After a while, Ron saw the demon still not detained by his students, so he flew off and gave chase. "Sorry buddy, but you're nicked!" Ron shouted, pinning the demon down, and placing cybernetic handcuffs on him. "There. Done. Arthur, Moderatus, once you're finished, throw him in the police station. The handcuffs should last for about 12 hours, they're pretty sturdy if I say so myself. Now, to install my new legs... Doing so myself will take a while, so if you wanna turn in the bounty after you throw the twat in the police station, I'll be in my lab upstairs." he said, flying off to the lab to install his new leg. Should anything happen, Ron would of course be informed.

"So you done the work, Ron... Now he leaves the last part to the students... How cunning, if I had students I'd do the exact same thing myself..." Jun said, looking from his side of course. As always, he sits behind a broken computer screen and tries to see everything through his surveillance footage. "Now, then... What would they do next... I wonder about that." he said, keeping an eye on Arthur and Moderatus, as he tracks every single one of their footsteps.

Back in Ron's side now though. He enters his lab through the window, of course with his prosthetic leg sliced off by a demon. Ron takes out a spare prosthetic leg and searches for nuts and bolts to screw them on with. He then finds a screwdriver to take out the remaining part of his leg, as the bolts went bust. "The bastard sliced the whole thing clean, it even cut one of the bolts in half, and chipped the others. Proves how easy he was to pin down after aggravating him. The plan works, or so I think..." he thought, as he begins working on installing his new leg.

"Well, where's the fun in letting him live?", he sighed, sneaking around the demon and knocking him out, then pulling the arrows out. He placed the demon over his shoulder, saying, "Hmph, this demon's quite heavy." He walked all the way to the police station, choosing to take what was left of the scenery. Once he arrived at the police station, he took the demon off of his shoulder and placed him in a cell, locking the door. He wondered when Moderatus was going to make an appearance and prepared himself for it, completing the task. He began his slow walk back to Ron's house, again choosing to take in the scenery. He took an arrow from his quiver and began to spin it around his fingers while thinking about what the next bounty could be. "Somehow I doubt the bounties won't get easier after this one.", he thought, sighing and putting the arrow back in the quiver. When he was only a short distance from Ron's house he started to run so he could get there and train for longer, maybe with his troops. When he got there he passed through his camp, asking the officers to prepare drinks for later. Once that was done he walked over to the door of the house and went in. "It's done.", he said, sitting down on a nearby chair.
