I'm really happy to have you on the forum. You're a great new member and you often get overlooked because people fawn over CowCow.  I also appreciate your support while the YCMPD was a thing.  Very nice of you.  So far, from what I've seen of you, I really like you.

You're one of the 10 or so YCMembers I have added on facebook which says something.  We definitely weren't close until we both got perma'd in 2011.  Glad to see that we're both still perma'd.  I think you're a good friend and don't really have anything bad to say about you.

 

I think I know what you'd say about me, but go ahead. 

 

Don't know you like at all.  In passing I haven't found you annoying which I guess is nice.

Like I said for Rod, one of the few YCMembers I have on facebook so that's a thing.  We talked a lot in August when I joined the YCM skype calls.  Those were fun times.  Haven't talked as much since but I definitely like you.

You're pretty cool.  Sometimes you PM me too much which gets on my nerves but really you're just being friendly and inclusive which is something the YCM community can lack a lot.  I think you could work on your yugioh skills though, they are lacking last we dueled.

Oooooooohhhhh Kanade what can I say about you? I have 14000 posts locked away because of you (at least that's how I think of it).  I've said it before, but I was really mad at you for like a solid year after that day in 2011.  Since I came back though it's been different.  Not sure why you're birdie which I find weird but I respect my avian companion.  One thing tho is that you leave permanently every few months.  There, I said it.  Anyway I like you so it's good that you don't leave permanently.

I've always felt like I'm on thin ice with you.  I have mad respect for you but it feels to me like you don't like me.  At this point I mostly walk on eggshells when near you.  I played Twisted Treeline with you once and I carried which was like the only time I've felt you liked me.  Maybe I'm just reading it wrong.

Umm I don't remember you well since before you were a mod.  I'm sure I've watched you duel a few times which has been fun, but other than that I don't remember much about you.

Yo for the uniniated/those who didn't really give af, howd you and Rod get banned?

 

I'll let rod tell his story.  We didn't get banned for the same thing.  

 

In 2011 TCG was a cesspool of trash and the place to be on the site.  I was on thin ice because of a few previous perma bans that I'd come back from (i think 2).  I read the rules for Your Decks and one of them was that you can't post decks over 50 cards because they are too big to be fixed.  I was like "lol this rule isn't followed, let's fix that" so went into a 60 CTH thread by Kanade and bitched her out because it had more than 50 cards.  Little argument ensued, Black was a mod at the time, and in the end Raven banned me for being an ass.

you were already on thin ice goose, i wasn't like, campaigning for you to get banned or anything. ;-;

 

fact i thought your ban was a little unnecessary honestly. I dunno, I always heard you were on thin ice with the mod team for a long time before my thread happened. I don't even think that was what set it over the edge, cause I locked that thread myself with a shop item, a moderator didn't step in for punishments as far as I remember. Or if they did, they didn't post. o-o

 

I was actually birdie before I was kanade, i was just faaaar less active at the time, fun fact. Kazooie has always been a favorite game character of mine, and I only became known as Kanade because Angel Beats! gained a lot of popularity here while I was using the name as a pair with Black. xD

 

My leaving thing is something Fusion mentioned. It honestly isn't supposed to be like that, but damn boredom keeps coming back to me. I was planning on leaving this last time with Black and we were gonna support each other through the withdrawals and s***, but his circumstances changed and we both just got really bored. I'll quit saying anything this time, and just take a silent leave from now on honestly. I've learned it's better for me to take, like, a month break and come back.

 

EDIT: What Goose neglects to mention is that everyone else at the time was making serious suggestions for the deck, since it wasn't a random jumble of cards like most silly 60 card decks. It wasn't even Highlander or themeless, he was literally the only person who had any sort of problem with the deck. He was basically rule sharking for the sake of rule sharking, and I didn't take kindly to it and we got into an argument. I really don't remember any mods posting in aside from Black, but damn that was ages ago. I remember Black was mod, but I know he didn't ban you cause I was sour at the time.

or it was that lolicon club thread that turned into several arguments i dont remember at this point

 

IIRC it was part of Crab Helmet's "fuck loli" moment and Rod made an alt or somethign to post a rant (still alive on burnspy's blog if you can find it).

It was. Rod was involved in that, it got out of control, got banned for it. Not sure if that was permanent or not, but then he made the alt and sealed his fate for a while.

I was defs rule sharking for the sake of rule sharking but to be fair there was a rule and you were breaking it.  Obviously I'm adult enough to complain about it in the suggestions subforum now.

 

Also to be fair, that rule was made more in mind with decks that would be posted that had no coherent theme to them. My deck probs wasn't the first 60 card deck that was ever posted that had a real theme to it, it was just the one you had to pick on at the time and I don't like rulesharks. :<

 

Really, that rule needed to be expanded a bit imo. I still see nothing wrong with the idea of a 60 card casual deck being posted as long as it has a coherent theme to it. I don't remember if that was covered in the rewrite though, if it wasn't, I would totally suggest getting a bit more detail about it.
