stachada
I'm sure Skull servants have been posted on here like a million times, but I'm new so I figured I should post my version. Bringerofcake
this is an interesting build, it just goes really heavy on the mill/dig and hopes for the best. Have 6 mill monsters been too much in your experience,or have you been able to make the most of your mills before getting stomped? has PWWB been running well? How has GUB been testing? Has Wiretap been performing, or do you think Trap Stun would do better? Why Cain's Doom over Dullahan? /barrageofquestions
stachada
this is an interesting build, it just goes really heavy on the mill/dig and hopes for the best. Have 6 mill monsters been too much in your experience,or have you been able to make the most of your mills before getting stomped? well it's not really "mill". mill is more like Lightsworn, or Needlebug nest, randomly sending from the top of the deck at high speeds (which I never really cared for, since it always felt too luck based). This is more about sending specific targets directly to grave... there's probably a name for it, but I don't know it off the top of my head.... "Dig card" works I guess? Anyway, the more Dig cards I have in deck, the sooner I draw into them, and the sooner I have my grave set up for my big move. Not to mention Unizombie is sooo much more than just a dig card. has PWWB been running well? PWWB is just generally good this format. it provides an answer to a lot of problem cards, and is a discard if you ever need one... unfortunately I usually don't, or at least by the time I can use it I don't. I feel like that may just be because of my own playstyle though. I rarely reserve a card in hand for it, and tend to draw it as a dead draw, but I feel like if a more skilled player were handling the deck it wouldn't happen as often. some friends suggested I try Back to Square One, but it only hits monsters, and is a Normal spell, so it's only viable during your turn, which is... really bad honestly. unfortunately it's simply the best at what it does at the moment. If I could think of a better card that could both act as an out to monsters with built in protection, AND a way to send unwanted cards to the graveyard, I would be running it. How has GUB been testing? Glow up allows some funny things. If my extra had enough room I could probably make quasar plays, and honestly I've been contemplating trying to put together a skull deck that just uses Prince to summon King as synchro fodder (though I don't think it would actually be good, just that it would be a neat experiment). Originally I was playing it because I was using it to synchro with Goblin Zombie so I could get his effect easier, but I dropped Goblin zombie a little more recently because I didn't really like drawing into him that much... I also like using him with a Wightprince to make Formula to get Prince's effect and then Draw. It's also nice for Rank 1 plays, but I rarely actually need to make them to be honest... Has Wiretap been performing, or do you think Trap Stun would do better? After testing them both, I think I like Wiretap better, but it's really a matter of opinion I think. Why Cain's Doom over Dullahan? I really don't ever need Dullahan's effect... Cain's doom on the other hand is for the final push. I just make it so I can switch all my opponent's stuff to attack and attack over it with a strong king. Yes I could potentially accomplish the same thing with photon papilloperative, but it's way easier to make a rank 1 in this deck than a rank 4. Feel free to ask more questions if you've got 'em :)
