LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
It honestly makes perfect sense though. With how popular the two are, and with the fact that they are doing new things now. Plus they fit in just as well as, or maybe more than, the Final Fantasy people. Dementuo
kingdom hearts has pmuch always been nintendo + square i can't recall a time it ever ventured outside of that to suddenly bring in something like marvel or star wars would be a super change in style for the games and would honestly look pretty awful/out of place

Just Crouton
So...Iron Man and Luke Skywalker with recycled Cloud Strife haircuts and lots of belts? ... Actually, that would be funny.

It's...Disney + Square. And Marvel and Star Wars are both Disney. I think they fit perfectly fine seeing as we have Final Fantasy and Pirates of the Caribbean. There's many options though, so as long as most of the worlds are still more "usual" ones, it should be fine.
Blake
I don't think loads of Bishis and Captain Jack are comparable to Luke Skywalker and Super Heroes. This feels horribly out of place.
asterr259
All the movies she said at the end? Sure. Star Wars? I can actually dig it... Marvel? No. X-Men, Avengers, Deadpool, none of that feels right in a Kingdom Hearts game. I'm not happy that disney owns either, but I feel like Star Wars would actually fit in when I think about it. iCherries
These two make sense seeing as they are Disney and Kingdom Hearts is free reign with this shit.... But why? They don't really fit in the Kingdom Hearts setting at all. I mean, they can do stuff like Pirates right. But this isn't some monster pirate ship battle, it's... superheroes and... a series about multiple planets and galactic wars.when you think about it star wars world could be and a galaxy within the kingdom hearts galaxystarception if you willYeah, I'm just rambling. Nomura's free to use what he wants, but I'm not on board with this.

LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
I still don't see the issue. Can someone explain why it seems out of place to them? You realize how strange and unconnected most of the worlds really are to begin with? It would be simple to add a Star Wars planet into it. As for Marvel, why not? I mean we already had Sora fighting gods so, why not super villains? I honestly don't see how they don't fit in. This isn't a very stable "This is what the universe is" world. And I'm sure they would think it out before putting them in.

Shradow
I've always found even the Final Fantasy characters pretty out of place (not meaning that in a bad way) in the KH series, so I've got no problems with this. Though I just want Wreck-It-Ralph stuff. Do you realize how meta that would be?

Actually, to be honest, I found Disney Kingdom, Hercules, Beauty and the Beast, and Aladdin to be sort of fitting. In this case, Star Wars has a lot of variables in it like the other planets in Star Wars and fights in space. So they would make worlds in a World if we wanna go deeper into that. Marvel's more of how does Sora measure up to superheroes?Nomura's probably got some ideas, but we can't see what he's thinking or how he'll go about this. wait what when did this happenyears ago
Shradow
A shame they don't own DC, too, then we could get Nomura's Batman.
iCherries
To be fair, that design alone deserves its own game instead of being a Kingdom Hearts world. Or maybe even being a Keyblade Armor.
Fusion X. Denver
I already knew this was going to happen as soon as Disney bought Marvel and Star Wars. Same. To be honest, I thought it was a no-brainer. I still don't see the issue. Can someone explain why it seems out of place to them? You realize how strange and unconnected most of the worlds really are to begin with? It would be simple to add a Star Wars planet into it. As for Marvel, why not? And I'm sure they would think it out before putting them in. I agree, I don't really see why this would be so out of place. I can maybe understand a disconnect with Marvel, but Star Wars feels like its own unique world and landscape for Sora to explore, plus he and Luke's gang would probably work well together. As for Marvel, I could see Sora buddying with Spider-Man/Nova to help out the Avengers or something like that. I think he'd mesh well with Guardians of the Galaxy too, but that'd be too similar to Star Wars I think. But seriously, they crossed with Pirates and Tron, this isn't that nutty to me. I'm all for it.
Andx
Not sure what to feel about this. Figured it was going to happen but almost didn't want it to. I think the main objection to the inclusion of marvel and star wars is they haven't always belonged to Disney so in that way they feel different and out of place. I feel that Disney tends to cross cultural boundaries a fair bit easier than Star Wars or Marvel as well. There's a distinctly American feel to them that's not quite so present in typical Disney stuff so that might be part of it too at least for me. Ultimately I'll just see what happens and hope that if they do include them that they pull it off well.
SephirothFromMaplestory
If they did a world on Star wars Episode IV, I wouldn't have a problem, but it does seem a bit out of place.

But anyway, finally KH3 will be released next year. Too bad it won't make the cut for any "Top 10 games we've played in 2015." But at least now we have a release date. A big game and it has to be PERFECT! No glitches, no spelling errors, not bad stuff.
iCherries
>December 31stholy shitso it'll be twenty four hours before it has been ten years since kingdom hearts 2 was releasedSaying that, Nomura delaying it again wouldn't surprise me. I'm not too faithful about this release date as it is. It's good to know Nomura is finally getting it out there eventually though.Who knows? It could be in the top 10 of 2016 even though it wouldn't count.
