Wahrheit
An excerpt from Darkwater by W. E. B. Du Bois. I find that even almost 100 years later, much of what Du Bois has written about is still relevant, and the struggles are the same. It says a lot about our perceptions of social progress versus what has actually happened. http://www.gutenberg.org/files/15210/15210-h/15210-h.htm#Chapter_II What are your thoughts about this piece? Wahrheit
Indeed. Du Bois is one of my favorite authors - he has written quite a lot that I think gives valuable insight into the experiences of oppressed groups. I think reading his work would be beneficial to many people.
